I'm a gamedev and I met a dev from TT games at a tradeshow last year. We talked about this for a little bit and he described the unbelievable crunch that was involved. The team was not happy to work on this. Poor guy
That's really sad to hear. Yeah reading up on the devs pleading to let them use unreal and them being ignored, on top of like you said crunch and the fact that this felt so unconnected from everything else the team has done. Then on top of that so many veterans leaving, it really is a shame. And you can't help but feel bad for every single person who helped make this product. The delays were also definitely also harsh on the developers as they realized that the game they were making was constantly being re-worked and shuffled about away from what they intended. poor devs.
@ASHFAR578 sadly, the amount of time put into a game doesn't mean much when everything is being changed constantly by people who don't understand game development, design, and programming.
The developer crunch alone should be the main reason people shouldn't buy the game. The game is fine, but the working conditions the developers had to endure were unacceptable
by far the biggest dissapointment of this game for me was the fact that there are literally no enemies to fight on the hub worlds and even if you do find some, THEY DONT EVER RESPAWN.
Yeah the open worlds feel completely disconnected to the levels. Which I guess is the point. But I see a lot of people saying the main point of the game is the open world. But it doesn't do enough to warrant exploring thoroughly to leave the missions imo.
@@Destined2BeKing yeah, i mean how hard is it to copy and paste a few into the worlds? they had ages to make this game and it kinda feels like a beta ngl.
@@MtpMuzik The issue with Open Worlds is that they don’t always encourage the creation of curated environments/activities, sometimes they’ll have em but that’s not their purpose at the end of the day. Open world games trade scripted events/scenarios with open landscapes where the player is tasked with “creating their own fun,” in some games where you have a lot of tools to work with this can work (like fallout, minecraft, and terraria.) But if you lean too much into that without a healthy gameplay loop then it comes off as lazy and hollow to a lot of players.
Yet Lego has made open world games (lord of the rings, batman 2, marvel super heroes, DC supervillains, city undercover) that utilize the format AMAZINGLY. I think something went very wrong with the development of the Skywalker saga
Open world is the new Battle Royale. When Fortnut and PUBG came out back then, every multiplayer game needed to have battle royale mode. Now it's open world for singleplayers. And now that Elden Ring became one of the most succesfull games ever, it will most likely continue for a few years until a new formula gets the spotlight.
@@ihatehandleupdatethis trend has been going on for a long time, years atleast. My personal hatred are games with a "Do small missions in the open world to unlock main missions" games. It can be well done and fun, stuff like Just Cause 2 come to mind as an old classic, but then you got the newer games in that series or stuff like Mafia 3 that just fall flet...
The weird thing is that the game felt like it was teasing Windu vs Palpatine as a level when you travel to his room as Windu and Kit Fisto in the open world. He wasn’t even an open world boss like Jango on Kamino was. I mean, why? Just why? We’ve wanted Windu vs Palpatine as far back as I can remember.
Can we just appreciate how inventive it was to teach/show players exactly how they needed to progress at 5:30? Having the two destroyers roll onto the buttons to open the gate, and then roll off is so imaginative, and it sucks how the new game doesn't have any of that.
Literally tho, kinda like how Cod zombies in older games would use color to guide you through important locals, and it always gave a degree of help, even if small, the game is actively teaching you as you play, it’s just being clever Enough to hide it from the intended audience on a first run through
Worst part about this for me, not the biggest one, but the one I was most disappointed about was a character creation. I always loved getting every character, and each character could potentially unlock something new, and then, at the end I can create my character and have a combination of some of my favorite or most powerful abilities in my own style
And then there are people saying “oh but there’s over 400 characters,” which is dumb for many reasons but that’s even worse! Imagine the shear customization!
@@morepenguins6247 plus the whole idea is Lego being able to take apart and put together in whatever way you want so not being able to take apart a character and reshape it into a new character is weird specially, when it’s been a feature in every single Lego game before that seems weird to just drop it now
@@speedwagon1824 making Ben swolo, buff yoda, yourself, custom clone troopers, custom Jedi. That’s pretty fun to do. Like you actually can build your own Lego character.
@@speedwagon1824 idk, you could make your favourite character that isnt in game or jusr make a fun character to play. I could even make some Legends characters in character creator in I, II, TCS and III.
It made me so incredibly disappointed when I realized that the first actual level was the stupid Bigger Fish scene. It baffles me how they thought that made sense.
an aspect I personally felt "hurt" by, would be... for some reason they lock Scavengers behind episode 7. If you wanted to go through each episode in order, you need to go through more than half the game to unlock their abilities. Even if you get a scavenger character early, you can't use them. This is the only character type to be locked this way. What's making it worse, Scavenger-mandatory puzzles are found throughout all episodes. It gets discouraging really quickly
@@mickmufson1824which sadly is still a while, considering you don’t unlock ROTJ unless you finish ANH and ESB The Ewok level in particular is like, the third level in there? Meanwhile if you start at Force Awakens, it’s like the second one, and you already have TFA unlocked by default
The longer I played the more disappointed I got. Most of the game and 'levels' were walk from point A to point B just to continue the story. I'd argue the clone wars lego game had more things you could do in the 'open' world than this and that one generally felt more fun despite it being restrictive for the time it came out. It honestly baffles me that we still do not have an open world star wars game that does things correctly.
My main gripe is that creating more open world planets seemed to take away from the main levels themselves. The level is significantly smaller, there's significantly less puzzle solving and less cut scenes. Plus just because the open world planets look fairly well designed, doesn't mean I want to run around on them doing meaningless little quests. The complete saga from '07 had so much more charm and fun to be had I feel. You can see in a way how video games have changed considering how much of this game is just collectable fodder to squeeze as much time out of the player as possible. Also what's up with the genosian arena? It looks empty!!
@@JuanLeon-oe6xeYes, because they went from “not linear” to “linear”, in a manner that wasn’t graceful enough to receive excellent reception. The original LEGO Star Wars games have nothing to compare themselves to, so their linearity is completely appropriate.
yeah, every stage and level in the old lego star wars games were all memorable in their own ways. whereas i cannot for the life of me remember single level from this game, despite having played through it. the entire game just felt like walking down a massive corridor with the scenary changing occasionally..
My brother and I were really excited to play this game when it came out. We had fond memories of playing the complete saga together when we were younger. The skywalker saga literally made us fall asleep. I'm not lying. As soon as we stopped playing we were awake and fine again. It's a real phenomenon.
After realizing how bad Skywalker Saga was after the first 3 missions of the game, I bailed. A month later got a steam deck, and the first game I installed was the Complete Saga.
same thing happened with me and my older cousin. we both grew up playing lego star wars tcs whenever id visit him among other games, and i bought TSS and waited for him to come over to play it. we only played 2 levels of the phantom menace. and ive never played it ever again. what a let down
My brother and I 100% Lego Star Wars 1,2,3 and the complete saga and we couldn’t even get through this or the force awakens the games have strayed so far from the idea of fun
One of my favorite additions to the classic Lego Star Wars formula was the full scale battles from Lego Star Wars 3:TCW, where you could go around spending your studs on battalions of clones (which Clone commander type characters could take command of), AT-TEs, force shields, and even sometimes a item generator that would give either a minikit or the level's red brick after accomplishing certain requirements, as new tiers of buildings unlocked the more spots you controlled.
This comment is 2 years old and really is still true. I played the game when it first cane out and hated it so i 100% the original complete saga. Skywalker saga was free on epic games recently so instarted playing it and it just made ne want to play the original. I started a new game on the steam version and realized it sadly doesnt have achievements. Im still gonna do it all cuz its fun, but my biggest gripe over the game isnt even with the game itself🤣
I remember how my favourite chracters in TCS were Count Dooku and Palpatine for the sole reason they could use lighting on almost any npc and yeet 'em away. You can't imagine how disappointed i was when i bought them in TSS and noticed how this wasn't a thing anymore. As you said in the video,Sith are just more expensive Jedis now. No cool quirk they can kill npcs/enemies with or dark side related puzzles. And again, the fact that the characters you bought doesn't randomly appear in the hub worlds and start fighting each others it's an other let down. Mos Eisley Cantina it's still one of the most chaotic and fun hub worlds because of how easy it was to start a bar fight.
Yo those bar fights were sick I totally forgot about that 😂 That game was gravyyyy Literally the reason why they became successful n they wonder why ppl don't like it
Sith do have the ability to destroy cuttable walls (the ones you use a lightsaber to cut through) with the force, but you have to stand at a really specific angle and hold down a button.
personally I find the story Hub interactions to be pretty fun despite the length of them. The problem I have is that because much of the story beats happen in these sections, I can't really replay the story of a certain film without having to start a new game and replay it's entire trilogy, I'd love to replay the story with maxed out character abilities and using different ships. I often got the most fun from the Hub sections as some story missions were just way too short, or don't show much importance.
Yeah it's weird to me that some cutscenes are connected to the open world. I had to play the whole game again to get the Battle over coruscant footage. I wonder why Lego games stopped having the room where you can view cutscenes.
I feel mixed on the game. Some times I love it, others I feel frustrated. I feel like this game needed another year or two to cook in the oven, especially thanks to the crunch put on devs.
Less to the crunch and more to the game design. The problems here show that they simplified game mechanics to add more numbers & worlds that ultimately feel formulaic. With problems like this, one or two extra dev years wouldn't make a difference. Fixing them would essentially make a completely different game.
@@larniieplayz6285 game design problem. It's like making Pokémon Snap and saying "they need to delay a few more years so that game can be Pokémon Sword & Shield". *That's not how game dev works.* Skywalker Saga was *designed* to minimize features & expand quantity of characters & puzzles. You can't fix that with delays or crunch; it was a different game from the start.
@@TheRibbonRed thats what crunch... does. It causes game design problems by forcing them to simply the game mechanics and pad play time. you are literally describing the problem with crunching while saying its not a crunch problem.
For me, my only major problem is how they limited each episode to exactly 5 missions, leading the developers to turn some of the best sequences from the movies into cutscenes because of it.
It seems that TT traded out creative Lego levels for Open World, and that’s no good. If it were me, I would’ve actually scaled down the open worlds in favor of more creative Lego Levels/missions.
@@Smabbott the thing is, the games open world's didn't leave much replayability, I would rather both get good focus. Why does it have to be one? Finally, Lego games are trying to be more replayable.
What I noticed is that the game, at least from what I've seen in trailers and gameplays, pretty much is a Lego style version of Disney Infinity 3.0 with the story being the one of the movies. The open worlds, the camera angle, etc. Especially flying around in space looks exactly like in Disney Infinity.
Yeah man I was just about to comment that😂😂😂. Everything was very familiar to me, from the bosses with health bars, the way you progress between levels, skill tree, and of course, EVERYTHING with space combat and vehicles. The bad part is that infinity let you create your own world's and do what you wanted. Also, Boba Fett's jetpack was useful at least😂
@@isaiahbridges7442 I never said it was bad, but I think it's pretty disappointing. While I love both DI 3.0 and the Lego Star Wars games, I expected a bit more.
I agree with you. At first, I was excited to go around collecting everything. But then, it just felt tedious to where I have taken a hiatus from the game completely. A lot of it is due to lack of time, but the fact that when I do have free time I don't consider playing this game should be telling for how much of a chore it can to play.
my biggest complaint about this game was the lack of character customization- to me that's what made lego games worth playing because I enjoy mixing and matching the parts of every unlockable character just to see what I could come up with and then replay missions while playing as the custom character, so that way I could have my own little flare in the missions and collect stuff as well- I get it's big, but with the amount of playable characters, that makes custom characters more fun to play as and would serve as the solidification of a traditional feature to keep around.
@@scotthenglefelt2893 that’s fair, and it is true that not every Lego game had it. I personally found DC Supervillain’s forcing a custom character on us was very creative from how the custom characters were before. It could have been just a demonstration of how they’ll run customization-
Biggest disappointment for me was the almost complete lack of platforming puzzles… jumping around to progress and discover secrets, occasionally falling to my death was sooo fun in the complete saga. Just look at the obi wan vs anakin duel to see how it’s changed. Literally every jump between platforms is a quick time event lmao
@@tophatcat1173 The whole obi wan and ani kan fight was my favorite fight in the game. It was very fun for me and the fact that he says that its worse that the original saga confuses me.
@@zzodysseuszz What do mean, in so many ways the Skywalker saga is better. Graphics, combat, open world, comedy, ships, amount of content, and they even have great voice acting. I don't know how you can say it's disappointing.
The completion bonus had me angry. I put in the hours to complete the game & all you get is a stud fountain, dancing characters, & a retro version of one of the songs. The whole thing was made out to be as if the pyramid was going to turn gold & possibly unlock something secret like Indiana Jones as a playable character.
Wow that example of the Cloud City mission just made me laugh and realize what a waste of time it was. I remember it being pretty boring but watching you complete it without doing anything unique or interesting made me feel silly actually fighting the troopers and trying to enjoy it lol
I didnt even realize your ship takes visual damage as its health decreases. I'm at 80% of the game complete and ive never had a situation where my ship was damaged to that point.
given how the enemies will often deliberately miss you, it explains why neither of us saw ships taking damage. I once left my game running in the death star and came back to all 4 stormtroopers in the game shooting at me, and my health had been regenerating quicker than the damage
I think what makes me enjoy this game so much is the fact I'm a big collectathon fan and the game is mostly a colossal collectathon in open levels like Banjo-Kazooie. I love this game, but your criticisms so far (I'm not quite at the end yet, but still) have all been completely valid and I hope TT takes this video to heart and dials back the scale for the next game, focusing on a tight story with a side open world instead of a huge open world with decent but not anything special levels.
I think I would have prefered a remaster of Complete Saga. Still one of my favorite games of all time, and far above the few hours I put into disney's skywalker saga.
Yes. They could have just remastered TCS with better graphics AND created 3 new levels to represent the Disney films. That would still have sold well. Possibly better.
I’ve just gotten to Episode 5, and as I progressed, I had this odd feeling in the back of the mind that something was just _missing._ I love this game, but the flaws you have pointed out are incredibly hard to ignore. It first hit me when I played against Grievous. Admittedly, I was incredibly persistent and exclusively used Cody until I literally couldn’t anymore (same with Typho against Palpatine lol). At some point I started to feel myself struggling to stay awake because some parts of this game is just so boring at times. I enjoy this game, I really do, but I wished it was just a little more. In conclusion, they didn’t add Coleman Trebor, 0/10.
Thank you for making this video, you put into words EXCACTLY how I felt playing this game. The worst purchase of my life. The cutscenes are the best part of this game, everything else is so void of anything fun that I felt truly miserable playing trough the story. And I have no desire to come back to it. We need to demand better.
Something that seems to be overlooked is that, when a game intended for children becomes too reliant on voice acting, it can deeply sour the experience for children whose languages aren't supported by the game. This review brought back memories of me attempting to simultaneously listen to dialogue while translating it for my younger siblings, a problem which lego games used to avoid, as everyone simply mumbled and all information was conveyed by gesturing and facial expressions. And while this game offers a mumble mode, it's very clearly just an afterthought.
Being limited to mumbling was also a _great_ opportunity for more of the lego humor charm. Creativity is born from limitations after all, as the saying goes. There are so many moments where they had to convey some piece of info where they just outright told us through dialogue, while previous lego games would've had to find a way to communicate it through props or body language, and all of these moments are just completely missed opportunities. People aren't asking for mumble to be back for the sake of the mumbling itself. People are asking for mumble to be back because that mumbling was part of the necessary _conditions_ for the most memorable jokes in the classic lego games.
This is what you get when you play a game made by people who were under extreme pressure to get the product done, you don't get a labor of love, you just get "Lets churn out a project we know they'll eat up, regardless of its quality"! This game should have had even more time in the oven with the scope they were trying to achieve without execs breathing down the necks of the devs constantly to just get it done.
I just feel sorry to all the developers as the directors weren't known by the team at all. But rather the new management choices from Sony who had no idea how to direct a Lego game and instead micromanaged and removed mechanics in which developers were working on for weeks without telling them. Another article was released detailing more than the polygon article. It just sucks.
They had plenty of time, it was delayed for 2 years since its initial launch on 2020. The devs just got too overwhelmed with the amount of expectations and ideas that they finally just came up with a product with so many new elements but not focusing on the ones that make a lego game enjoyable.
yea, there are alot of braindead kids that buy anything that has a brand they like. RUclipsrs are taking advantage of their younger audience by making as many lego star wars skywalker saga videos as they possibly can so they get as much youtube money as possible. this was a great video.
I do still think it was a labour of love but yeah the production was very messy but I don’t think it should’ve been delayed again all tho they announced it way too early that’s for sure.
When I started playing the game I barely got through the first level before putting the game down, at the time i couldn’t quite figure out what was wrong with the game but you were spot on
My biggest issue has been the lightsaber duels. I spent the entire level figuring out puzzles and I don’t want the duel to be mostly puzzle. It has been annoying because I would clash with the boss and just as the fight is getting good he flees and I have to spend the next few minutes figuring out a puzzle.
Yeah like the high ground level Anakin and Obi-wan are supposed to be dueling to the death the whole time lightsabers swinging but then he just runs and you go to the droids and solve some puzzles
@@anakinlegowalker5167 That was just stupid they should have made that level like complete saga where one player gets to play as Anakin and the other plays as Obi Wan.
I’ve played through the first episode of this and started episode two and I knew something was off. I thought it was the inability to let a serious moment be serious (Qui Gon’s Death really felt tone deaf to me), but I think you’ve articulated what I was starting to perceive. The game just Ian Mt that interesting. Visually it’s immaculate, and the mechanics that are there work very well. Almost too well. I’m amazed how quickly you can play through something that would’ve taken 20 minutes in the complete saga.
I’m glad I could finally discover a genuinely well thought out, sincere review of this game’s flaws, because I have been wondering if anyone has actually disliked LS: TSS. Personally, I am continuing to enjoy playing mainly because I am a big Star Wars fan and love being able to explore my favorite planets, hear and find references, and unlock a lot of my favorite characters. When it was first announced, needless to say, I was very excited for what was in store. I thought I was going to get to play a modernized LS: TCS that would allow me to experience the 6 movies that I loved so much again and added three that were (for obvious reasons) not included in the previous game. I tried my best to avoid trailers and information about the game since I wanted to go into playing knowing as little as possible, however, I heard that I would be able to travel and explore a lot of planets, and that really excited me. For me personally, getting the opportunity to explore Star Wars planets was something special that nothing else has really done before, even JFO which only has 4 explorable planets. When I finally got the game, downloaded it and played the first section, I said “This doesn’t feel like a Lego Star Wars game. It feels like a Star Wars Lego game.” because of how different it felt. Weird camera angle, weird combat system, weird ways of getting to different levels: it was so odd. However, the more I played the more comfortable I became with it, and something I discovered right from the get-go was how you literally played through the movies. Going from the Trad Federation ship to meeting Jar Jar to swim down to Otoh Gunga to escaping the goober fish and walking the streets of Theed, to break through the blockade and going to Tatooine and so on and so forth all the way to the end of the movie! Therefore, as a Star Wars fan, I was totally fine with the time between levels. I loved getting time between the action to really experience the amazing graphics and environments and talk to the people that Obi-Wan had to talk to in AotC in order to locate Kamino. I loved getting a tour of the clones from Lama Su and walking around my favorite planet. It was a SW experience unlike anything else. Similar to my last point, I view the level design in a similar way. It almost felt like the open world in many aspects because of how short and concise each level was. I think they sacrificed the usual Lego level design for being able to play through the movies and tell as similar storyline and experience to the movies while still having hilarious dialogue from the characters like the two Resistance Medics carrying Rose on Crait! I think you can kinda see where I’m all going with this. Lego wanted to make a different game than they ever had before, in more than one way: the main way being the way they set the player up to play through each film. Starting at the beginning and having a fluid pace in which they progressed through the story and ended. However, as I said near the beginning, I’m a big Star Wars fan who can deal with some of the repetition and over-all clunkiness that others might have a problem with because I just love playing through my favorite story. I can totally understand where you are coming from, since it being a Star Wars game isn’t enough for the normal person to blow off the problems the game can undeniably have such as the glitches, and time consuming collectable hunting as well as the different way you play depending on which you like better. It’s just for me, playing through each movie like LS: TSS let me was a unique, exciting experience that serves the player with what I feel nothing else has been able to for this story that is Star Wars, and I for one, am all for it.
Despite how disappointing some of the levels were handled, I was still able to enjoy the game, but the multiplayer was the biggest failure in my eyes. The fixed split screen felt so claustrophobic in the open world and the way coop is handled in a lot of the levels was very upsetting, me and my friend didn’t even make it through the phantom menace before deciding to just play it on our own. This game could have greatly benefited from online coop
The main problem I have is that I have 20 hours played on this game and as soon as I finished episode 9 I never returned to it, and I cannot remember anything. I can’t even remember a single level I genuinely cannot
I personally like the new stud bar, but my main problem is the lack of enemy’s and character customization. And I wish you could replay the side missions.
And the lack of potential enemies, mass armies (TCW).... faction pissoffery(TCW&TCS) Civilian pissoffery(TCS) Partner pissoffery (TCW) and bar fights....
This is exactly how I felt! The game is majority filler, from the open worlds to the challenges I was never made aware of and failed to complete after each level , forcing me to go back and replay it to pad out the completion time of the game. I don’t understand how people rated this game so highly when it has no respect for the players time.
Tbf, that was inevitable. However, they missed out the memes that actually stood the test of time and used the cringe ones. Perfect example of a company only understanding the surface level of a point.
This was a nearly impossible job for some of the devs at Tt, especially with the stress they went through, it’s almost a miracle that they could actually make the game somewhat mediocre.
I appreciate someone who's willing to criticize the game and call it what it is, and not just praise it because it's big and pretty And let's not forget how big of an *L* it is that the game didn't bring over TCW's big battles
And those that do call it out get trolled for their opinions. Like for instance wanting it boycotted for everything that happened behind the scenes and removal of key LEGO game elements. Those supporters are the real ones who don't understand what real LEGO fans like. And to think they had the audacity to say I wasn't a true LEGO fan! Idiots! It's just bland and unenjoyable to me.
I am angry that people were praising so much. I spent money for this game and there is nothing that good about it. Finally someone is speaking the truth about negative things
@@jabbadaben9146 I don't understand what people are watching? I have literally seen nothing but absolute hate for the game. And this guy is nowhere near the first person to talk about not liking it
It also turns out that Disney was also pushing hard on the game makers according to several devs that left the project. They were forced to do the sequels first, it was worse to deal with since at the time The Rise of Skywalker didn’t come out so they had to wait until it eventually came out to start working on it. They did the prequels last, which is why it’s levels feel unfinished and short Edit: They’ve added in the cut capital ships. I suppose they are listening to the fans, which is good. I’m hoping the customizer is next.
@@Smabbott Yeah, it’s really unfortunate that the devs were being pushed by both the higher ups and the company that gave them permission to create a new Star Wars Game. I just hope the next game doesn’t have the devs be pushed to the brink of leaving. I hope the next game will be polished and really complete. I think The Skywalker Saga is a step in the right direction. But it isn’t perfect.
@@PearlBladeBeats 🤷 That’s Disney for ya. I guess it was because The Sequels were made by Disney. So they would want their movies to be adapted first. They also don’t really like the prequels that much. They only supported The Clone Wars due to how popular it was.
And now I wish I saw this before getting the game. Would’ve saved some disappointment And another gripe I have is no custom characters. They’re always my favorite part but they’re not here Likely to prevent people from making characters they can charge for with dlc
I thought I was the only one who thought this game was shallow and generic. This game had so much potential to be something special but instead we got a game that has boring levels.
This game really feels like it's trying way too hard to appeal to it's AAA brothers and sisters while moving away from made the LEGO games fun and unique in the first place. Also finally some LEGO Force Awakens praise. That game was good
I feel like the game was super out of touch with what we wanted and relied heavily on memes like "haha high ground" (which were very overdone). Mumble mode also wasn't done well at all and just sounds rushed, not at all charming and minimalistic like TCS. They took one glance at the LEGO Star Wars community and rolled with very quick conclusions Also how the hell did we get some random opera singer who appeared for half a second in The Last Jedi, but not Wat Tambor, foreman of the Techno Union?
The force awakens was actually a really enjoyable game. I don’t think it’s fair to say it’s bad because it was based off a film that people didn’t like, the gameplay consists of more than walking to the end of the level.
The one sequel trilogy comment not negative that I agree with, Force awakens had good levels, (except level 7) even if it was a bit stretched out, And unlike this, the levels were fun to replay, skywalker sagas levels are mostly not interesting enough to replay many times
*_FINALLY_* somebody started talking about this. I've watched and played the game and I am astounded by how many people fall heads over heels for it. It's like, "Did we even play the same game?" What's worse is how some the earlier entries in the Lego games were bashed as hard as they were and this is praised to high hell. It's like rose tinted glasses were welded on tight because people were so starved for a full on Lego Star Wars game.
@@scotthenglefelt2893 It is when people have been waiting over 2 years for a “Lego” game…as someone who ONLY plays Lego games, it’s been a long, hard wait. And a disappointing result. @@sprockett7798 it is more a Lego game than a Star Wars game, take all the jokes and references in cutscenes and dialogues. They are distancing themselves from the movies in this game.
All they had to do was remaster the original levels and add the new shitty movies, but the fact they felt the need to reinvent the wheel made the game flop so hard most of the people who have seen this video, forgot the game existed before it appeared in the recommended, and probably forgot about it again 5 minutes after watching the video
In terms of the game’s simplicity in combat. It’s like they were building up to something quite complex. Maybe every individual ship or character gets a unique skill tree where they can unlock new abilities? (Seismic charges or dark saber e.t.c) but no, it really is just the same thing every time. Similarly, the enemies could have variations too. They could easily fix this.
i loved the game but absolutely understand where you're coming from. and the character roster is so frustating, like there are so many cool characters you can give unique abilities to but they are the same as everyone else in that character class. the villain class is the best since sometimes they come with a unique weapon like a flamethrower but that is not enough for me. i had a couple ideas to make the roster more unique like make some less experienced jedi only have distract as they're force ability while those with more knowledge could have the mind trick and panic too, tusken raiders and jawas could dig in the ground, maybe even go underground to do a 2d section like dig dug. commander cody or antilles could command troops just like in lego star wars 3 the clone wars, the list just goes on and the fact that they just copy the same abilities for an entire character class expect if they have a jetpack is so dissapointing. if i could sacrifice character upgrades for characters being more unique i would.
Those are some really cool abilities there. Yeah as much as the tracking mechanic in games such as LOTR and JW were tedious, they were still something. I really like the idea of different Jedi ranks. Like full on obstacles that maybe shine a different colour which then a hint bar comes up at the bottom stating you need a Jedi master to lift this object. Adding more variety to the Jedi themselves. That's actually awesome! God if only. But I'm glad you love the game. Thanks for the comment🙂
Yeah getting palpatine was legit one of the most dissapointing moments in a lego game for me when I realized he only threw his lightsaber instead of shooting out lightning like a beam
@@Destined2BeKing that would be a sick ability and would make me actually want to buy some more characters because there isn't a single story character with that ability
That has been a problem in Lego games for a long time now. As these games get bigger and bigger character rosters the characters feel less and less unique, and it's obvious they can't make all those characters feel different like in the past, where they would have to work on maybe 20 or 50 characters at most and there was no open world map to speak of. What happens in the end is that the game gives the main characters a better treatment and maybe has three or four different secondary characters to unlock that stand out among the others, but leaves the rest of the roster with recycled abilities and even animations; the most noticeable case of this being Lego DC Supervillains, where the main characters are very fun to play and the most expensive one in the game that you can get outside of the story, the Ventriloquist, has way better animations and a more creative set of abilities than all the others. I would say the last game that had very unique characters despite the size of its roster was Lego The Incredibles, but I suppose it's that way because they borrowed from a lot of Pixar's works and none of the characters from the two "The Incredibles" movies had similar superpowers.
When a game gets so hyped up it fails at even copying the previously good ones. Honestly i was going to buy it on release but after cyberpunk i don't trust the videogame industry
The issue I have with Skywalker Saga is that levels do not feel like levels. They are more structured around being accurate towards the films than doing there own thing. So some level are 2 minutes long and some are 10. Don't get me wrong I still like the game but it would be so much better if the levels followed the original Lego formula.
what killed the skywalker saga for me was the fact that they made you play out nearly every little interaction, i couldn't even get through one chapter without completely losing interest over how much pointless content exists, overall i think lego games were better as level compilations and not open world-esque experiences the way lego dimensions did it was my favorite with the open worlds being entirely optional to the story
Dude for once I can see where someone is coming from when complaining about the skywalker saga. You seem like the only person who was genuinely a fan of the previous games that wasn’t happy with this one. And I get why the stuff you complained about could hold it down for some people like it did you, while it didn’t for me. However, other videos I’ve seen are so obviously for views and attention as all the complain about is how easy it is, which it’s a Lego game, of course it’s gonna be easy. And they also claim the “charm” is missing, which it isn’t despite it feeling different than the others. So honestly thank you for making the only good critique so to speak of this game
Thank you. I really appreciate it. I get a lot of comments saying that I'm just nostalgic, so that's why I didn't like the game. But thank you for your thoughts. Also I'm glad that you enjoy the game and continue to enjoy it. It's important to like what you like and defend it. So I hope you continue to. Thanks again🙂
Thank you, I've been describing it as bloated and messy but no one agrees, they seem to like it because it has the things they know. Has anyone seen the red letter media skit about going through the haunted house super fast? That is this game
My biggest qualm with this game is the lack of a character creator. That feature has exponentionally increased the lifespan of these games for me, and it's absence has crippled my enjoyment of the game.
I remember Lego city undercover. You basically just went through the entire game as chase but he had costumes that allowed you to gain different abilities. Sometimes there were secrets in levels that required skins that had nothing to do with the level, and a lot of these secrets required you to go back after unlocking the later game skins. I think the main charm of Lego games was the fact that almost every character was special and useful in one way or another. Even if the canonical situation had nothing to do with them.
Levels were little too short . I’m having fun with the game still, I still like shooting like my other party members off ledges XD But…yeah damn the obiwan and Anakin fight was so disappointing to me. Artificial padding with the r2 and 3-po sessions annoyed me. It’s not…awful. But it’s definitely a game made during lockdown and it shows . Least the levels are longer than sonic forces
I think it's more to do with the behind the scenes controversy, there's some fantastic, but terrible articles which document the time. And you just have to feel sorry for the developers. Lockdown was definitely a factor. But at the same time, Elden Ring came out. Forbidden West came out. I think it's more down to the terrible management and poor treatment of staff. But yeah, the Obiwan v Anakin fight is mind boggling to me😂 thank you for the comment🙂
Thank you. From the first gameplay footage of the game i became... sceptical. Everyone that received the early review copies and was showing small parts of "missions" that the marketing team allowed them to, saying how beautiful the game is and how good the combat feels. All i could see was the ugliest UI I've ever seen in a lego game, the worst split screen and neglect for player 2, lack of puzzles and bullet sponge enemies. I couldnt tell the bossfights apart if it wasn't for the different minifigures. But then the game came out and everyone seemed to love it. I was planning to buy it. But from the gameplay i saw? It did not look fun. The game industry seems to be heading towards a bad place. The people that control the mechanics and flow of the game don't seem to he experienced designers but rich excecutives concerned with which mechanic will sound better for the marketing. To sell more copies on release. Highly disappointed from TT.
My biggest problems 1. No ability to replay episodes start to finish (including the open world segments) unless you start a whole new game 2. No large scale battles like in Lego Clone Wars 3. Too many pointless collectibles (The whole game philosophy seems to be quantity over quality) 4. Basically no ground vehicles 5. No air vehicles to traverse the open world (Republic Gunship for example) 6. No character creator 7. Post launch support was dropped after only a few months 8. Half-assed character pack "DLCs" 9. No Battle over Coruscant or Mace Windu vs Palpatine level 10. No enemies to fight in the open world except on extremely rare occasions. 11. Too much attention is given to the sequels at the expense of the actual Star Wars movies This game could've been SO much more. Video does a great job explaining my disappointment. Still can't help but love it regardless.
i feel like the sequels got more attention because they’re newer, but there are some characters (primarily in the sequels) that are there for one level and do nothing. *cough* *cough* Jannah *cough*
THANK YOU! Thank you for saying all this! It needed to be said! I don't get why people consider this "the best Lego game ever", or, god forbid, "the best Star Wars game ever". It just proves that shiny grahpix will make players and reviewers blind to any flaw a game can have. No review I saw when the game released mentioned any of these issues: the game breaking bugs, the empty open-world, the uninteresting level design, and the generally dubious game design (collecting kyber bricks to upgrade ability... but the open-world have almost no enemy, so what's the point?). I'm glad someone stood up and said what needed to be said. As a side note, it's been nearly two months and the Maz Kanata glitch is still not fixed. The devs had to suffer and crunch just for us to get a very subpar game. To TT's management, I say: shame on you.
Same. I saw no one criticizing it when it first came out. I realized that the ATTE tanks and spider droids were in the cover of the game and they NEVER show up and I was trying so hard to find a video that pointed it out.
@@ripalexx No, a lot of people share your opinion. We just have different experiences and different standards. It doesn't mean this game doesn't suffer from grave problems
They also got rid of fun levels like Battle of Coruscant, Battle of Death Star II and any form of the Battle of Geonosis except for the Arena which was so empty and the quick Dooku fight. They also focused way too much on background characters that we barely use. They also refused to give us any dlc level packs and instead we get character packs that we really don’t need because most of us had already finished the game when they came out plus they had no character interactions or voice lines. Too many people praise this game instead of complaining about everything that is bad about the game. Thank you for making this video.
@@Smabbott Yeah I tried doing the same but nobody listens to us lower ranked RUclipsrs. Filmaru Is Not Happy With This New Lego Game: Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Review ruclips.net/video/hWKMdK9rEN8/видео.html
I don’t get why this game is as highly praised as it is yet Lego SW III is seemingly ignored despite giving us, one of the best Lego hub worlds, the best Geonosis arena and Battle of Geonosis (the later of which is completely absent from Skywalker saga despite being on the games front box art.), and making largest scaled battles that let you manage which infantry, vehicles, and even the bases defenses you want. I remember spending hundreds of hours replaying the same Ryloth mission’s over and over again because of how fun they are. And that’s on top of having complete missions, the bounty hunter levels that are entirely unique, being able to test all vehicles in the hub world, and best of all the mini kits unlock additional playable characters not from the game’s specified scope. Also one think that really irks me about this game is the lack of free play for vehicle levels. I get the pod race (because of how they changed it) but really I can’t replay the Death Star trench run as a Y-Wing in single player? Or the numerous other vehicle levels in different ships despite giving me the option for free play mode. TLDR: Get Lego Star Wars III instead, it’s good and really deserves a sequel.
Yeah Lego Star Wars III has fantastic war levels. You're absolutely right about the battle of Geonosis, just why not include it? Yeah it's annoying with the trench run as player 2 is another X-Wing. Just makes no sense, when the original Allowed one person to play as the falcon and the other an X-Wing. I just don't get it😂 Thanks for commenting
I'd really love a sequel to Lego Star Wars III that follows other shows that came after, such as Rebels! It'd be a perfect way to make a more traditional Lego game again.
Impressively well made video for a channel of your size! Especially with how thorough you were, and attention to detail when editing, with which clips you chose to show.
Your points about TFA game are spot on, it was drag for me to get through because i simply don’t care about the sequels but once you beat the story and go around unlocking OG characters the game got much more enjoyable for me
Great video, I'm tired of hearing so much blind praise for this game. My brother and I lost interest after playing the last level of Episode III. We had so much fun playing as Anakin and Obi-Wan in the last level of the original LEGO Star Wars (2005), and we were expecting it to be very much the same kind of thing. Making that level a PVP battle was a no-brainer! Then we get to the equivalent level in the new game, only to find out one of us has to play as a droid and do busy work. I don't know if it is avoidable, but there was a good chunk of the level where NEITHER of us had control of Obi-Wan. We were R2 and C3-PO, forced to watch the duel in the background until we hit the required switches. Now THAT was insulting!
I literally have no idea why they decided to do this. It literally is the most confusing thing about the whole game. They didn't need anymore panels because they were gonna use them for the rest of the saga. The Lightsaber combat is the most polished aspect of the game, so you'd think they'd want to show it off. My only theory is that they never implemented a program where player 2 could defeat player 1. Which is why the Vader fight in ROTJ is so jarring.
Player 2 defeating player 1 doesn't even need anything special. If Anakin wins the PVP duel in the original, he still gets dismembered by Obi-Wan in the cutscene. Maybe just have Sidious blast Vader with lightning to prevent him from finishing Luke, since the plan was for Luke to kill and succeed his father as the emperor's apprentice.
20:10 I find the smuggler ability so unnecessary and uninspired, it's literally just following a cable. I mean, what is this crap? Anyone can follow a stupid cable and know where to shoot if they just look at it, did they not think of anything better for a smuggler, like maybe a fighting or stealth-related ability?
Me and my friend were very disapointed with anakin vs obi wan when doing it in coop. No need to explain why Another part i didn't like was the lack of training or any type of fighting bosses. I want to fight bosses without the need of something happen. Take fallen order training area for example. I use that a lot because i can be creative, Fight this while this is going on Thats what i wanted to do in TSS same thing with how fallen order did it Oh and pvp is kinda okay? But not. It would be cool to have the saber clash and have each player button mash the fastest. But its like BF2 dueling but more lazy if that makes sense. Only good thing i can say that you didn't menton was rebel friend. But a con to it was no Mustache man from that cutscean in TCS EP 5. Edit: Forgot to menton. Free play doesn't feel like free play at all in a lot of missions, I can't be the character i want to be in said mission? Bruh i clicked FREE PLAY not story play, Free play
Yeah, I really didn't like the character sheet or the class system. That would have been cool to fight the bosses like fallen order. But I think Fallen Order's system works better through adding enemies, each boss has a unique move set and all.
@@Smabbott i agree. The basic boss attacks and such fit maul because he is fast and aggresive. Doesn't fit vader because of his suit making him slow but give hard blows and swings. Etc etc

I think people view it as a kids game and therefore it's void of criticism. If anything, that should insight criticism more, due to the next generation being educated through entertainment.
@@tomwhite7022 tbh there wasn’t uniqueness in the other ones either. It doesn’t feel much different in the slightest. I really don’t get the hate for this game. It’s clearly made or children so it’s not gonna be hard. Every single lego game is a grind with the same generic puzzle systems. And they always have big replayablity. It’s not much different and you can’t sell to me that it is. I’ll admit, this game is slightly less dense than other lego games but the graphics and boss fights were still better than others. I don’t understand why people call this game bad, it’s essentially calling every other lego game bad or mediocre aswell.
31:05 the reason people let it pass here and not in that Harry Potter game, they have the stupidest excuses, "its a kids game so don't expect quality" "its all 9 star wars movies in lego bro what more do you want" people lose all their sense of taste fanboying over LEGO games, can't be helped.
The game lacked so much story from the movies and often times it felt like the progress was to smooth it was fast pace. The levels were so simplistic and the repetiveness was annoying.
My only problem is how boring it is, most of the famous characters are either unlocked by the story or fairly easily then you're left with 100 boring characters to unlock
The combat was what I was looking forward to, and it's great, I'd love to see them use it in a super hero game, but honestly, this game is just too much at time. The areas are so big and require you to go all over the place, even traveling from one planet to another. Also during those space sections where you have to take cargo and fight waves of enemies, I swear I glitched into a level that had a low poly Trade Federation ship that would pop in and out of existence (I played the game on the Switch version). There were actually small elements I liked, but this game wasn't that great, and this video hits on a lot of points that I definitely agree with.
I hate that in the main menu you always hear Rey talking and the camera pans out and everyone else is under her like she is star wars and all the others are in her universe.
@@OffendEveryoneImmediately The game is pretty fun, probably just play the original trilogy...I think I'm in the same boat as you although I might check out episode 2 and 3 as well.

The delays were also definitely also harsh on the developers as they realized that the game they were making was constantly being re-worked and shuffled about away from what they intended. poor devs.
Really? I thought they worked on this many more years than any other lego game.

Maybe not that much time

It's like making Pokémon Snap and saying "they need to delay a few more years so that game can be Pokémon Sword & Shield". *That's not how game dev works.*
Skywalker Saga was *designed* to minimize features & expand quantity of characters & puzzles.

@@errorschnansch1892 how?
Also, Boba Fett's jetpack was useful at least😂
in a sense yeah it is and its disappointing
Lol I thought I was the only person who saw how it was similar to DI 3.0
You fail to explain why that's bad
Yeah and seeing how far things have developed from Star Wars to DC Supervillains is insane! Imagine the different builds we could have had.
Not every LEGO game has it though and I barely used it. I like it when it’s not forced upon you like DC supervillains.
@@scotthenglefelt2893 that’s fair, and it is true that not every Lego game had it. I personally found DC Supervillain’s forcing a custom character on us was very creative from how the custom characters were before. It could have been just a demonstration of how they’ll run customization-
I legit cancelled my pre-order when I heard it was gone

Biggest disappointment for me was the almost complete lack of platforming puzzles… jumping around to progress and discover secrets, occasionally falling to my death was sooo fun in the complete saga. The whole thing was made out to be as if the pyramid was going to turn gold & possibly unlock something secret like Indiana Jones as a playable character.
Really? That’s all you get?
Now that’s just pathetic.

I’ve just gotten to Episode 5, and as I progressed, I had this odd feeling in the back of the mind that something was just _missing._
I love this game, but the flaws you have pointed out are incredibly hard to ignore.

I totaly agree. The charm of telling the story WITHOUT voice acting is one of the defining features of the first lego star wars games.
That's how i first properly understood Star Wars in the first place.
Playing the old Lego Star Wars without knowing a lick of english.
I went back to play Lego Star Wars 2 and tbh it was way funnier without the voice acting
You do know you can just turn on mumble mode in extras at the start of the game
@@Marvel32667 must actually agree, its still a fun game just feels less of a lego game
Yeah I actually agree. The grievous battle is so annoying for that. Really pulls you out of it.
Yeah like the high ground level Anakin and Obi-wan are supposed to be dueling to the death the whole time lightsabers swinging but then he just runs and you go to the droids and solve some puzzles

I’ve played through the first episode of this and started episode two and I knew something was off. The game just Ian Mt that interesting. Visually it’s immaculate, and the mechanics that are there work very well. Almost too well. I’m amazed how quickly you can play through something that would’ve taken 20 minutes in the complete saga.

When working conditions aren’t good, the products aren’t good. Gamedevs, cgi artists, etc need strong unions
Well said.

And I wish you could replay the side missions.
yeah, if you have character, ship, or kyber brick, it should just give you studs
And the lack of potential enemies, mass armies (TCW)....

This is exactly how I felt! The game is majority filler, from the open worlds to the challenges I was never made aware of and failed to complete after each level , forcing me to go back and replay it to pad out the completion time of the game. My two biggest pet peeves about this game are: no creating your own custom Lego character, and no story replay-ability beyond a few select missions.
It also turns out that Disney was also pushing hard on the game makers according to several devs that left the project. They were forced to do the sequels first, it was worse to deal with since at the time The Rise of Skywalker didn’t come out so they had to wait until it eventually came out to start working on it. They did the prequels last, which is why it’s levels feel unfinished and short

Mumble mode also wasn't done well at all and just sounds rushed, not at all charming and minimalistic like TCS. They took one glance at the LEGO Star Wars community and rolled with very quick conclusions
Also how the hell did we get some random opera singer who appeared for half a second in The Last Jedi, but not Wat Tambor, foreman of the Techno Union?
The force awakens was actually a really enjoyable game. I don’t think it’s fair to say it’s bad because it was based off a film that people didn’t like, the gameplay consists of more than walking to the end of the level.
I haven’t played either Lego Force Awakens or this game, but at first glance, Force Awakena seems far and away the better game
The one sequel trilogy comment not negative that I agree with,
Force awakens had good levels, (except level 7) even if it was a bit stretched out,
And unlike this, the levels were fun to replay, skywalker sagas levels are mostly not interesting enough to replay many times

What's worse is how some the earlier entries in the Lego games were bashed as hard as they were and this is praised to high hell. It's like rose tinted glasses were welded on tight because people were so starved for a full on Lego Star Wars game.

All I hear when reading this comment is nothing but a bunch of whining and complaining.
If the game studio had any ounce of respect for its employees, this game would be a masterpiece
i suppose that's true of many games
When a game gets so hyped up it fails at even copying the previously good ones. Honestly i was going to buy it on release but after cyberpunk i don't trust the videogame industry
The issue I have with Skywalker Saga is that levels do not feel like levels. They are more structured around being accurate towards the films than doing there own thing. So some level are 2 minutes long and some are 10. Don't get me wrong I still like the game but it would be so much better if the levels followed the original Lego formula.
what killed the skywalker saga for me was the fact that they made you play out nearly every little interaction, i couldn't even get through one chapter without completely losing interest over how much pointless content exists, overall i think lego games were better as level compilations and not open world-esque experiences
the way lego dimensions did it was my favorite with the open worlds being entirely optional to the story
That is this game
why does every game have to be open world now? it ruins so many games which shouldn't be.
Yup! This is exactly what I felt. It feels way too short and I miss the great open levels that have lots of good puzzles and platforming. Shame
I’m having fun with the game still, I still like shooting like my other party members off ledges XD
But…yeah damn the obiwan and Anakin fight was so disappointing to me.
The Boba Fett fight was kaka
I'd take Sonic Forces over this ngl.
@@vocalcalibration8033 Same
@@vocalcalibration8033 No. Just no.
My biggest problems
1. No ability to replay episodes start to finish (including the open world segments) unless you start a whole new game
2. No large scale battles like in Lego Clone Wars
3. Too many pointless collectibles (The whole game philosophy seems to be quantity over quality)
4. Basically no ground vehicles
5. No air vehicles to traverse the open world (Republic Gunship for example)
6. No character creator
7. Post launch support was dropped after only a few months
8. Half-assed character pack "DLCs"
9. No Battle over Coruscant or Mace Windu vs Palpatine level
10. No enemies to fight in the open world except on extremely rare occasions.
11. Too much attention is given to the sequels at the expense of the actual Star Wars movies
This game could've been SO much more.
I mean, it’s just peoples opinions, if they like it they like it. You can’t get mad at it.
am i the only one that loves this games more than any other lego game?
@@ripalexx No, a lot of people share your opinion. We just have different experiences and different standards. It doesn't mean this game doesn't suffer from grave problems
@@Lefty9678 Yeah except when the game came out if you said anything negative about it youd be swarmed by npcs saying it was the best game of all time
They also got rid of fun levels like Battle of Coruscant, Battle of Death Star II and any form of the Battle of Geonosis except for the Arena which was so empty and the quick Dooku fight.
My pleasure. Couldn't put it better myself. You got the nail on the head! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
@@Smabbott Yeah I tried doing the same but nobody listens to us lower ranked RUclipsrs. Filmaru Is Not Happy With This New Lego Game: Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Review
ruclips.net/video/hWKMdK9rEN8/видео.html
The scene of Vader just showing a picture of him and padme is just peak Lego game comedy while also conveying the story beat.
This game was Starfield before Starfield came out. Too large for its own good.
Nah it's a lot better then Starfield really.
Is it really? They are both boring bloated solg fests set in space. Sounds about the same. @@Jdudec367
If The Force Awakens was themed around Revenge Of The Sith it would be considered one of the best LEGO Star Wars games
Faccs
About the dogfights. If I wanted to dogfight, I’d play _fucking Ace Combat,_ not LEGO Star Wars: The _Prospekt_ Saga.
This game was just a way worse version of Disney Infinity 3.0
Thank you very much. That means a lot!🙂
No need to explain why
Another part i didn't like was the lack of training or any type of fighting bosses. I want to fight bosses without the need of something happen.
Take fallen order training area for example. I use that a lot because i can be creative, Fight this while this is going on
Thats what i wanted to do in TSS same thing with how fallen order did it
Oh and pvp is kinda okay?
Etc etc
@@shadowbroz1026 it's the cookie clicker, place and then swap out the character. It's like each mesh has a set move set which is identical to the other in order to keep things simple.
I'm glad That I'm not the only One that thought this game felt like a chore and Grind to Complete. I'm really wanted to like this game but I guess i was blinded by nostalgia and Positive reviews
I think people view it as a kids game and therefore it's void of criticism. If anything, that should insight criticism more, due to the next generation being educated through entertainment.
I hate to tell you this but every fucking LEGO game is a grind. That’s the point
@@joeiorio9654 not to this extent u fool, there’s no uniqueness in collecting the liberty bricks it’s all repetitive
@@tomwhite7022 exactly, ignore the baboon
This game took 2 years to make. In 2020 they scraped the project and have started over
That’s really sad. Poor devs
31:05
the reason people let it pass here and not in that Harry Potter game, they have the stupidest excuses, "its a kids game so don't expect quality" "its all 9 star wars movies in lego bro what more do you want" people lose all their sense of taste fanboying over LEGO games, can't be helped.
The game lacked so much story from the movies and often times it felt like the progress was to smooth it was fast pace. The levels were so simplistic and the repetiveness was annoying.
This game feels like a high school project that started off good (graphics/effects) then realized there was supposed to be gameplay at the last month.
Yea I always say to myself out loud “you’re a nobody get out of my game”. But I’m enjoying it so far although I intend to skip the entire sequel era.
@@OffendEveryoneImmediately The game is pretty fun, probably just play the original trilogy...I think I'm in the same boat as you although I might check out episode 2 and 3 as well.
This is the best video I have seen about this game. You give the game the credit it earns and points out all of its major flaws. I was stunned to learn the second player is screwed so much in this game. Keep up the good work man!
Felt like I waited years for the next big Lego Star Wars game and then this came out, my inner child has never been more dissapointed. People are better off just playing Complete Saga again.
