I'm modelling a nose cone for my rocket, and for the ogive cone shape, whenever I try to shell it, it keeps giving an error stating that the operation does not cause a meaningful shape.
Dear Fusion360 team. I am a beginner with fusion360 and have a hard time trying to convert a stl. object into a shell. I try to follow your instructions but I am not able to select the model. I can click on it or use the select tool. It won't be selected for the hollowing.
I just started really using this yesterday and was trying to do the same thing...I'm up and running. There are TONS of videos out there that will show you how to do it. Search "convert stl fusion 360" and MAKE SURE it's a NEW video! Anything older than a year-ish won't work as the way to do it changed. Have fun.
my draw throws a error: Erro: "O corpo selecionado parece já ter recebido casca. Verifique se a seleção do corpo está correta ou se o corpo selecionado é adequado para a casca." because I brought the draw from tinkercad, how to overcome this?
Okay, but how do you go from Form to the solid body?
HOW DID YOU MAKE THAT SOLID PUMPKIN?? PLEASE ANSWER

I can confirm, that that is an actual body, and I am nothing but a shell.
This is for you > ❤️

End or reuse Inspect! Always knew there must be a way, just never figured it out. THANKS!
Love that tip!
I'm looking for the reverse of this.

Is there any way to hollow out a box without removing the "lid"
Select body and then shell, not the faces
Is the same possible in Inventor?
Yep!
