The E2XT looks to be great for longer shots. With some magnification should make out target pretty well. Great video.

Thanks for sharing the Arisaka, and showing all the lights so well at range. It really helps to see the beam pattern stretching out across the ground. It doesn't matter what the claimed out puts are of each light, the Malkoff heads have better patterning. You've shown how the E2XT achieves more throw and useable flood with better focusing. Its far more important to see whats around the target you're spotting at then whats right next to you. I really want to see the E2HT tested as I think it has the best balance

Damn that TLR 1HL is impressive. Even at 100 yds. Wish they’d make that head on an edc light body with a single 18650.

I emailed Modlite about the flicker issues with the Modbutton, as i was having the same issue. The fix was to use dielectric grease on the plug. It fixed my flicker, its been 8 months and still no flicker.
Hope this helps you and others

They ended up replacing mine, and it didn't have any other issues through my selling of it. Good to know if I ever get another one though!

Great job! If you repeat a similar test, can I ask you to install another camera with a zoom, so that it looks more like what human eyes see? This is a great shot, but the target is too far for the camera.

Yes. I have a nice camera now, so I will be recreating this video, hopefully with a few other light additions.

Yeah it’s great. It’s my preferred light on my 16”

Can you provide a time stamp or overlay of which light it is so we don't have to go through the whole video?

For quality, but for performance it’s easily beaten

@@joebuck4496 it literally just beat out all of these major competitors in every aspect minus light spill, which the Malkoff wasn't made for anyways.

@@nickbloodsworth4705 Malkoff’s purpose isn’t to be a leader in the pack for power lights, it’s purpose is for being bulletproof, and longevity. Drop your flashlight off the roof and it still works fine, that’s a Malkoff or an Elzetta. It doesn’t even try to be a throw or flood champion, because that actually hurts longevity, excessive heat shortens LED life.
I used to be a power whore lol, but now I like bulletproof super high quality flashlights better.
