@@righteousone5119I hope that they don't animate the 2 movies again, they can add some additional scenes or filler for the broly movie and super hero, but the production will never be as high as it was for the movie and the wait would just be longer for the moro and granolah arcs. No one watches battle of gods and roF through the anime, just the movies. With this, it would probably be better to have Moro, Granolah, trunks and goten as super heroes and then filler with flashbacks for broly and cell max for the anime.

the main reason i think its coming out in 2024 is because the last movie was superhero in 2022 and before that was some games the broly movie so they had to have started working on it from early 2023 and the manga is about to reach end of z after black freizas arc it wouldnt really make sense for it not to come out soon

I know I'm going to be a little late joining the party, but I would agree 100% in believing the impossible, and hoping for the anime to return. When I hoped that the Moro arc would get adapted into anime after Super Hero released in 2022, it would've been a similar pipeline that after Battle of Gods was released in theaters 10 years ago, the next year later, Dragon Ball Z Kai did actually pick up with the Buu Saga despite the 3-year hiatus after the Cell Games.
The nice thing about DB is that Akira Toriyma writes the scripts for the anime

4:05 if they do some decent filler and expand a lot on the trunks-goten mini arc it would be great (also i hope they skip the broly movie, it will be annoying if it starts with another adaptation of a movie and it will be annoying if they remake it again in the most recent arc like they did in the manga)

Sadly Dragon ball super will not be returning until they have at least a year and a halfs worth of episodes. Currently since the TOP we have about half a years mangas so we wont be seeing super in a long tine yet.... this is the boards decsion. 1 to help sell mangas and 2 because of how the TV works in Japan. This is why we are getting dragon ball daima as its a streaming series. And there not prepeared to be ahead of the manags again.
DBS taking a hiatus was the smartest decision from Toei, when you have a anime that was initially created as a money opportunity that didn’t actually think about production then of course the quality is going to be shitty + the big animators sometimes were needed for Wano and Dragon Ball had 0 manga content so Toei were only receiving brief notes for Toriyama on what to do since there was no Manga leading to two continuities of one anime. After Broly movies success everyone could see that when given time Dragon Ball can be given the One Piece treatment it more than deserves with the Shintani approach. But i hope when they decide for it to return they make sure the production quality is normal because last time it led to meme worthy animation and random OST placements + they should follow the manga religiously and pace it well and not decide to split the two continuities further. It would make sense if it returns like this,
May 9 2024 (goku day is usually when big dragon ball content is released) production is announced alongside budokai tenkaichi 4s release date
Late 2024 Episode 132 starts off with the aftermath of the TOP and a very brief recap of the broly film.
Moro and Granoloh arcs follow with better pacing than the manga and then after the Goten and Trunks mini arc similar to the Gohan Saiyaman mini arc before the big arc, and if toyotaro decides to change the superhero film then it only makes sense for it to be adapted but if he doesn’t then again a brief recap and then the anime follows whatever the manga produces.
Best case scenario would be for Toei to decide superhero is non canon so toyotaro can slightly change the movie to have a better climax etc and then after that take a short break to plan what to do with Black Freiza and return with Weekly Manga content so the Anime has no chance of catching up.

I think toei and Akira are trying to first make merch,games,manga and other shows like the new movie based on one of akira's old manga to spread the word of dragonball further so every one will know about db and only then will they release the new anime

You know they still have 2 new movies coming out right? And if they do end up giving the anime a return it won’t be ANY time soon and it won’t be the manga events. And no not just things happening differently, the manga as a whole is most likely not getting adapted. The only things they might use is Black Frieza or Ultra Ego (this is even a maybe because they could just give Vegeta the form Toppo had instead)
Yeah they do animate 1 chapter per episode of one piece the only problem is In order to keep that up they add a lot of pauses with a lot of characters going 🙀 every episode. Also a bunch of other filler to keep it running
One thing to consider about it is that with their latest project ''Sand land'' completed as confirmed in their official website, it is likely that Dragon Ball will be next on their list. So according to my predictions, we might get a new announcement about Dragon Ball (If not another project planned before it) somewhere in the upcoming winter season if not late autumn.

Most likely crunchyroll and Toonami. Netflix doesn't have Dragon Ball in the US
There's literally no correlation between One Piece and DB in terms of anime staff. Each show has its own production line. The animators of OP won't suddenly stop working on it and move onto DB, makes no sense. And a lot of the big animators working on Wano are freelancers anyway.

I hope dragon ball does not adapt one chapter per episode. If they do that, the pacing will be dreadfully slow just like one piece.
