Would the curse of Ymir still have affected Annie throughout the period she was crystalized. Because lets assume its been 4 years, did her 13 years of life decrease or remain the same as 4 years ago.
Maybe, she could still hear what armin was saying when talking to her right? So she was technically still alive and well. Lets just say she was in a comatose, people in comas unconscious and cannot communicate with their environment However, the brain of a coma patient may continue to work. It might “hear” the sounds in the environment, like the footsteps of someone approaching or the voice of a person speaking. So she was in a coma but the cells in her body was still functioning. Also no amount of titan power or titan healing can stop or reduce the curse (not even the founding titan).
As others have said. If it was possible it would have probably been done already but maybe not because in order for it to work you have to put yourself in that comatose state. Not very appealing or something someone thinks of
even tho Annie hasn't physically aged since she cocoon herself back in season 1, the curse of ymir hasn't halted on her still, so she has only a few years left to live at this point in the anime
Imma spoil cuz idgaf but ending is eren dies meaning power of titans is done so she lives but yeah checj wiki she will live and evenblonger than otgers bc she didnt afe physically she needs to age both chr9nologically and physically
Last week we got Ymirs entire story jammed into 20 minutes and this week we get 5 minutes of story progression stretched over the same amount of time. Not really liking how they keep repeating scenes from previous episodes either. With the episode title being "thaw" I figured we'd actually get to see Annie finally doing something but the managed to drag it out to yet another cliffhanger 🤦♂️
This felt like the finale to season 1. The main conflict we originally perceived in season 1 has been resolved. The survey core have completely eliminated the last of the pure titans they will ever encounter inside the city walls.
I predicted when commander Pixis (or maybe Premier Zachary I don’t remember) layed out all of the 10 or so Titan syringes they had left, Hange secretly grabbed one and is going to use it on Levi after they jumped in the river.

the titan at 4:18 to 4:21 is like experiencing eating a lemon for the first time and have been holding it in its mouth or maybe the person before changing into the titan, he could have been holding the lemon in his mouth as a challenge, until he changed to a titan
Question: If Annie hasn't aged how long does she have until the curse of Ymir catches up to her? if she was in stasis does that mean she hasn't lost any years?
Just wanted to say, it’s doubtful Eren has the power to turn pure Titans into humans. That would’ve been Zeke’s plan if that were true. Or perhaps it would’ve been the kings plan or the pacifist plan. So the ending happens for a reason
I think it'd be weird for annie not to have aged inside the crystal, and from a story telling perspective it might raise a few issues. The liquid inside the crystal might only be an artistic choice to signify it thawing, or it could've helped keep her alive (as time passed).

With the hardening on the walls coming undone, it got me thinking about in S3 when Reiner hid inside the walls. Was he just in the wall chilling with the wall titans? How’d he not get eaten by the wall titans in there?
Wait so pixis was in the coordinate but he was already transform into a titan by seek last episode so that means all titan shifters or not were present at the coordinate so he knows what was the outcome of Eren’s plan
The saddest death that happened recently: Ymir’s. Her life sucked and then she technically didn’t die so it’s like torture after Saddest Death otherwise: Marco. He was just in the wrong place. It even broke Reiner. You asked for this to be spoiler free but tbh the saddest death in series has not happened yet.
Wet Annie has Finally Returned. Been waiting for 2 years now. I guess we now know what the crystal that Annie protected herself in was made of. plus i am just more curious about which ending MAPPA is going to animate!
11:01 she’s clearly biologically the same age (16) but chronologically 4yr older (20), though apparently (from what i can find online) it doesn’t delay the curse of Ymir if we assume she/reiner/bertholdt/marcel got their powers the same year they came to Paradis all those years ago, she- like Eren, should have about 4yrs left edit: credit to pepsi in the replies, we actually know Annie and her team got their powers 2yrs prior to the day the walls fell, which makes sense because we see in S4 that they actually were using their titan abilities in favor of Marley as a nation doing jobs before being sent to Paradis
Annie and the others actually have around 2 years left. (As that's how long Reiner is stated to have earlier in the season. Eren received his around 2 years later than they did.)
So Eren goal is to wipe out everyone in the world besides his friends on the island, but also proceeds to leave maybe 50 pure titans behind leaving the possibility for them to die....
@@chrisnelson9972 That doesn’t matter. His point is that With the power of the founding Titan he can control all Eldians and all Titans. So Eren could’ve just turned all the pure titans back into humans, but apparently chose to leave them alive which could result in the death of his friends & other eldians.

Not very appealing or something someone thinks of
Yes, the curse of Ymir still affected her throughout her cocoon phase. So now she has only a limited numbers of years left to live anyway.
I've been watching your videos since the beginning of the the my hero academia days. It's great to see how big the channel has grown since then!
A bot channel stole your comment and got a heart, too. I'm sorry
As a person who read the manga, the old school titan slayer team in action scene being so god tier was a pleasant surprise.
even tho Annie hasn't physically aged since she cocoon herself back in season 1, the curse of ymir hasn't halted on her still, so she has only a few years left to live at this point in the anime
Super unfortunate I love her

Last week we got Ymirs entire story jammed into 20 minutes and this week we get 5 minutes of story progression stretched over the same amount of time. Not really liking how they keep repeating scenes from previous episodes either. With the episode title being "thaw" I figured we'd actually get to see Annie finally doing something but the managed to drag it out to yet another cliffhanger 🤦♂️
This felt like the finale to season 1. The main conflict we originally perceived in season 1 has been resolved. The survey core have completely eliminated the last of the pure titans they will ever encounter inside the city walls.
I never thought that connie would kidnap Falco but I am more worried about that is my favourite character Levi is alive or not

I recommend your videos to any one of my friends who say that they're confused by this show! Your breakdowns are amazing and your reviews are by far one of the best that I have encountered on this site.
Very excited to see Annie again after waiting for 7 years
Loved Gabi redeeming herself with Kaya! Pixis’ death was really sad :(
She does a lot more of redeeming her self, watch that space. She clearly is starting to realise her people from Eldia (Paradis island) are not devils at all, she will learn more as we go forward.
When they were fighting the pure titans it gave me flashbacks to season 1.
Barricades soundtrack gave my whole body goosebumps
This episode really hit me it was so powerful that I had to stopped for a bit in order to process, I think all thats is coming now is gonna be mindblowing. I no longer know which side is right. I still have some hope in Eren tho, but definetly I hope Gabi and Falco take up some kind of plan. REALLY intrigued on whats going to happen with Annie! This is a masterpiece series that's gonna las for centuries. A cult Anime for the world History.
I didn't watch RUclips yet because I was waiting for your video and after I watched the Episode, I saw your video LOL I was minutes late but hey, thanks for the details and great content you give us!
the titan at 4:18 to 4:21 is like experiencing eating a lemon for the first time and have been holding it in its mouth
or maybe the person before changing into the titan, he could have been holding the lemon in his mouth as a challenge, until he changed to a titan
Question: If Annie hasn't aged how long does she have until the curse of Ymir catches up to her? if she was in stasis does that mean she hasn't lost any years?
I know that answer but it will be a spoiler so I don't want to spoil it for u, just watch till the end nd u will know
They could have fed Annie to Commander Pixis so that he could live on as The Gender Neutral Titan
Really appreciate the breakdowns and explanations of the scenes that I didn't managed to catch while watching. You just earned a sub!
I love that Jean had a big role in this episode
Man’s pumping these out quick 🔥🔥
Just wanted to say, it’s doubtful Eren has the power to turn pure Titans into humans. That would’ve been Zeke’s plan if that were true. Or perhaps it would’ve been the kings plan or the pacifist plan. So the ending happens for a reason
I think it'd be weird for annie not to have aged inside the crystal, and from a story telling perspective it might raise a few issues. The liquid inside the crystal might only be an artistic choice to signify it thawing, or it could've helped keep her alive (as time passed).
So Connie stole falco and is gonna bring back his mom... But bring her back to what? 🤔Mom's gonna wake up surrounded by colossal titans on top of her broken house looking in her older sons face and all she sees is death and misery.... Like how is he gonna explain all this🤣🤣sooo hey mom, you just ate a little boy but don't worry you have cool powers now and you remember my buddy eren?.... He's that giant centipede thing behind you....i missed you tho...oh yeah and you have 13 years to live now and you might have to help us defeat eren since your a shifter now.

Exactly it’s so impulsive. I get it tho because that’s his only bio family left. But he got to be realistic. Plus falco experience as a warrior candidate makes him more useful than an old lady.

the Saul Goodman titan actually does the 'finger-gun' pose 👉 that Saul Goodman does. So the animators actually knew and continued the reference!
With the hardening on the walls coming undone, it got me thinking about in S3 when Reiner hid inside the walls. Was he just in the wall chilling with the wall titans? How’d he not get eaten by the wall titans in there?
Titans can't move unless they are in sunlight remember?
I was waiting for this nice video🔥👏

Gotta question who’s death do y’all think is the saddest in the whole series? No spoilers pls
Marco was a pretty impactful one
The saddest death that happened recently: Ymir’s. Her life sucked and then she technically didn’t die so it’s like torture after
Saddest Death otherwise: Marco.

Are there many endings?
no ofennce turtle quirk but any time you post a video its a day after the new aot episode came out
Eren: I will protect paradis!
*Seconds later*
Eren: ok idc about ppl in paradis less go rumbling
Eren after executing the rumbling: Emperor Palapatine cameos to tell Eren he killed everyone in a fit of rage with Pure Titans. NOOOOOOOO!
That black and white shot of Eren’s face is so cool
11:01 she’s clearly biologically the same age (16) but chronologically 4yr older (20), though apparently (from what i can find online) it doesn’t delay the curse of Ymir
if we assume she/reiner/bertholdt/marcel got their powers the same year they came to Paradis all those years ago, she- like Eren, should have about 4yrs left
edit: credit to pepsi in the replies, we actually know Annie and her team got their powers 2yrs prior to the day the walls fell, which makes sense because we see in S4 that they actually were using their titan abilities in favor of Marley as a nation doing jobs before being sent to Paradis
Annie and the others actually have around 2 years left. (As that's how long Reiner is stated to have earlier in the season. Eren received his around 2 years later than they did.)

Yes! One of My favourite characters in the show has returned Yeeeeeessssssss!!!!!!!!!
So Eren goal is to wipe out everyone in the world besides his friends on the island, but also proceeds to leave maybe 50 pure titans behind leaving the possibility for them to die....
Im sure Eren has faith they wouldn’t die to pure titans alone he knows how much they’ve grown. He’s probably just weeding out all of the scrubs left
The pure titans arent made by him. They are made by zeke. Remember when eren told zeke to "wait" before zeke screamed? Eren looked terrified
@@chrisnelson9972 That doesn’t matter. His point is that With the power of the founding Titan he can control all Eldians and all Titans. So Eren could’ve just turned all the pure titans back into humans, but apparently chose to leave them alive which could result in the death of his friends & other eldians.
