You should made Bird and Magic as co-MVPs in the 80's then put Russell at Power Forward and Wilt at Center for the 60's. Also replace Giannis for KD in the 2010s
KD has to be on the 2010s. LeBron should replace KD on the 2020s (because of the chip and the finals MVP). LeBron is a easily the MVP of the 2010s ( Curry titles were more on the different value of the teams( 3 finals MVP to none).
If you go by positions, it’s either KD or Lebron, can’t have both. If it was positionless, you’d replace Dwight with KD in a heartbeat but it’s not. As you said, Lebron is the 2010s mvp so that’s too bad for KD
This man Lebron went to 8 straight finals in the 2010s and u giving him a co mvp? U serious? In that case the 2000 should be a co mvp for Kobe and shaq.
1) Moses Malone was easily the better Center in the 80s. Won a Finals MVP and 2 MVPs that decade, had some very successful years after '83, with him being in almost all of the MVP conversations after that. He also was the best player in the early 80s over Bird, Magic, Moncrief, Kareem, etc. 2) It's not 7 out of the 10 titles in the 90s, it's 8 out of the 10 with the only other 2 being '90 and '99. From '91 - '98 (an 8 season stretch) Jordan or Hakeem won the Finals MVP. 3) Giannis gets drafted in 2013, so he's already missing 4 seasons within the 2010s, and breaks out in 2017, so 3 out of the 10 seasons he makes an argument for, but he wasn't good and/or wasn't playing 7 out of the 10 seasons. There's no point in including him. Although I think Giannis is the better player hands down, Anthony Davis at least broke out right away and started a year earlier. And Howard is good up to midway through the Decade, no point to include him. 4) I don't understand why you included people who didn't play a good chunk of the decade, or people who fell off in the decade. Like Dwight Howard feel off mid way through, Shaq fell off hard mid way through. Jordan, although really good, didn't start till 5 seasons into the decade. He missed half the decade. I think including people who have at least played really good 7 seasons of a decade should be on the all-time starting 5, not a couple of seasons.
You make some interesting points but a guy like shaq is a no brainer for the all 2000s team like there’s no debate. Shaq from 2000 to 2002 was easily the best player in the nba. Then from 03 to 06 he was still extremely good and sure he declined after that but he still made an all star team in 09 and his early run in the decade was so dominant there isn’t a case to be made against shaq. As for jordan I think he deserves to be apart of the all 80s team due to his peak being the single highest peak in that decade and he still won mvps and what not in the 80s so despite time missed he deserves it. I’m with u 100 percent on Dwight Howard he absolutely doesn’t deserve to make an all decade team in the 2010s. These are interesting debates tho
Also in 2005 shaq finished second in mvp voting so too say he fell off hard isn’t accurate sure he wasn’t 2000 shaq but he was still an elite all world big in 05. Shaq didn’t fall off a cliff till 07. 06 was his last fringe all star version of himself.
Cool video, but I disagree with Giannis being on the all-decade team for the 2010's. He didn't start to have a break-out season until 2018-2019 which was too late in that decade. Lamarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love, and still Dirk Nowitzki were more dominant power forwards back then.
I’d put Moses Malone over Kareem for the 80’s because Moses won two MVPs to Kareem’s one and Kareem wasn’t even the best player on his own team. Moses also outplayed him in their playoff matchups by a sizable margin.
Early 80s Kareem was still scary. We tend to remember mid-late 80s Kareem more which is probably why he gets 80s disrespect but he was still elite from like 80-85

I Disagree on the 2010 list That should be Curry Harden James Durant Giannis you could switch Giannis with Dwight Howard but no way Durant is not on that list
This era is a positionless basketball. Giannis played all position in his career. Played a full time PG, SG, SF and PF. These past 4 years, he's been playing 20%-40% of his time at Center. I love Dwight but I will replace him with KD and moving Giannis to the center spot.
KD over Giannis for 2010s and there shouldn’t be a debate Giannis will be the 2020s PF, but he only came on during the end of the 2010s while KD was a top 3 player throughout the decade
I think the 2000's is the team I most disagree with, would rather have Nash than AI at PG, and while it is close, Paul Pierce at SF if we're just counting the 00's. Like yes, it's LeBron, but Prime Pierce was built for the 00's style of game. If you want to argue anyone over LeBron in the 10's though, I'll just laugh. And for the 2010's you forgot Durant, he should easily be in over Giannis based on body of work and the fact that he was the only guy dueling with Bron for best player of the decade. That's if you want to slide him to PF though, since he didn't play there much during the 10's. Dwight Howard feels like a rough choice since the big men were weak last decade, and the guys coming up did it a bit too late in Embiid or Jokic. I almost want to argue Marc Gasol was better over the decade, but I can see the argument for Dwight even if he had been doing the journeyman thing since like 2015.

2000s PG is J-Kidd over AI. He single handedly took a horrible Nets team to back to back finals and finally took a chip home as a starter in 2011. Plus, his floor general skills were unmatched, and he was an elite defender. AI was a better scorer but never won like Kidd.

@@ebtoofuego6254 Bron won 3 chips, 3 fmvps, went to the finals 8 straight years, won 2 league mvps, constantly a top 5- 2 mvp candidate, 10 all-nba teams, 5 all- defensive teams, a consistent DPOY candidate from 2010-2014, 10 all star appearances, had a better/greater peak than Curry and yeah Steph is 3-1 against Bron and not saying Steph should’ve had help cuz u do need that to win a chip but we’re not gonna act like those Warriors teams weren’t more superior than Bron’s Cavs teams and that Curry was supposed to be win all those Finals victories even in 2016 (which he lost) and that 1 win against him trumps over Curry’s wins against him💯
1:00 West, Oscar and Elgin were all very good defenders. Especially Jerry West.
Jerry West certainly was. He made the first team all defensive the first 4 years it existed. 👍👍

How can you put giannis over KD in the 2010s. Even AD deserves more for this decade. Do you need a reminder that 2021 isn't in the 2010s ?
Duncan is the 2000s mvp more MVPs 1 less ring with no shaq better defender
I agree. Duncan won 2 fmvps while Kobe only won 1 of them in the 2000s. And Duncan has an extra mvp. Duncan 3 rings in 2000s, Kobe 4 but Duncan has more finals mvps
No KD for 2010s?? He's literally been top 3 every year in that decade....I would replace Giannis with him or take out Dwight and put Giannis at centre
Has KD won a ring without the warriors though

How you leaving Lebron outta the 2020s. He legit won a chip and Finals MVP… he’s 37 playing like an MVP. Geez

I would go for Steve nash at pg cos ai was dominating late 90s early 2000s but he fell off around mid 2000s and Nash was doing well the would decade

11-15 - Paul, Bryant, James, Durant, Howard
16-20 - Wbrook, Harden, Durant, Davis, Jokic

Magic had 2 MVP's in the 80s. His last one was 1990.
Know this ain’t how it works but give me Steph at PG, Kobe at SG, KD at SF, Bron at PF and Giannis at center
Harden was way better than kobe in the 2010s. Kobe was only good for 3 years in the 2010s.
This era is a positionless basketball. Giannis played all position in his career. Played a full time PG, SG, SF and PF. These past 4 years, he's been playing 20%-40% of his time at Center. I love Dwight but I will replace him with KD and moving Giannis to the center spot.
Definetly
To think bron was abt to be in the best starting 5 for 3 different decades is unreal.
Come on man how is KD not in the 2010s lineup
Shaq MVP of the 2000’s
Almost unanimous MVP
4 Chips
1 MVPs
3 FMVPs
1 Scoring Title
And 4 guys from the 2020s haven’t won anything bron got a finals mvp 😂
And a scoring title soon too
KD over Giannis for 2010s and there shouldn’t be a debate
Giannis will be the 2020s PF, but he only came on during the end of the 2010s while KD was a top 3 player throughout the decade
This was by position and not by how good te players were meaning even if kid is better than giannis since he and Leblon play small forward he cannnot be on it
Paul Pierce at his peak was not better than LeBron in 09 and 10. It is not even close
@@thedarklord8770 2010 isn’t part of 2000s but I agree Lebron is over pierce clearly in the 2000s. 2006 to 2009 Lebron is a level pierce never came close to approaching
I would give the mvp easily to Lebron James for 2010s, he had 4 championships, and won most the mvps along with that, and the fmvp, while Steph was good he didn’t win a fmvp from his 3 which sort of tells you something with that as well.
