I’m a big fan of the Logitech slimfolio keyboard case. I like that it offers protection and has a keyboard and holds the pencil for my note taking. I’m hoping Apple releases one for the 10.2. I don’t like the slim combo... more separate parts to keep track of.
Hi I have a video about going with the iPad as my main computer. Its a short video, but it includes everything that I do with my iPad. Out of courtesy, i will not put here any link, but if you are interested to see it, you can search here in youtube this: “ipad 2019 your next laptop harold lladoc”, harold lladoc being my name, so you can pinpoint the video itself.
Thank you so much for this review. I've been trying to find a quality keyboard for my 10.2 iPad that matches (gold) I finally found this one online wanted more than just "amazon" reviews. I really appreciate your review! Thanks again! (new subbie). p.s. currently on sale for $99.00, yay!
Is i stable? Like does it have a stabilized typing experience. Does the IPad move when you keys very hard. I type really hard sometimes. I just wanted to see if the keyboard moves the iPad or not! Could you please share your experience?
hola amigo, perdí las siliconas que van en las bisagras del teclado, por casualidad ¿sabes cómo y dónde puedo pedirlas o encontrarlas? te lo agradecería mucho mi bro
@@ItsCaputo Cool, thanks. By the way, your review here greatly helped my purchase decision of getting this keyboard instead of Apple's Smart Keyboard for the 2019 model. More power to your channel.
I have been using this keyboard and I love it! I was just wondering if there was a way to pop the keys off to clean behind the keys. I may have a couple sticky keys from spilled coffee 😩
Had this before. Returned it after a week. Regret returning it ever since. Havent been using my ipad ever since. I love this product and I just reordered it again. Cant imagine having an ipad without this. Question: Would this work with a tempered glass screen protector?
Love your videos. I have most of the keyboards that you hav reviewed. I love the brydge keyboard and am writing this message on it. I have the 11” more than the 12.9 version. Yes it is are heavy but substantial and premium. Love it. Love the keys as well responsive. If you like mechanical keyboards you may Ike this keyboard.
The Brydge is a Bluetooth device so in theory, you should be able to use any sized keyboard with any sized iPad. They don’t need to be connected to each other to function.
But do you think that the brydge 10.5 inch model will fit the ipad 10.2? They have the same dimensions..., Is it possible? I could get the brydge 10.5 for free from a friend for my 10.2 model but I wont do it if its impossible to use it.
Thanks for the video! I just picked my wife up a 10.2 and was wondering what keyboard, case, and screen protector options were out there. I have a Logitech slim folio for my 6th gen 9.7 and I use it as my laptop in CRNA school. I’ll have to give this a try. ipads make great laptops now!
I currently have a Lenovo Duet but thinking of going for Ipad and Brydge instead (as my portable device) . These keyboards are pretty damn expensive - do you know why? Are they worth the 129 or do you just need to suck it up?
The keyboards are high-quality and last, but I would hold off purchasing if you own a 7th or 8th gen iPad. Something new is on the horizon with built-in trackpad.
I would suspect that a lack of magnets on the back of the 10.2 iPad make this challenging to fix. Regarding the touchpad, I don’t think a (highly functional) version is feasible anytime soon due to OS limitations.
@@petluv214 thanks, but I went with a logitech slim folio pro, as I wasn't going to buy a brydge without the touchpad, and a brydge with the touchpad wasn't available yet. and the logi was on the shelf at BestBuy. if the non touchpad brydge keyboard had been on the shelf at BestBuy, I'd of probably purchased it instead of the Logi. at this point I'm very happy with the logi... so I'll have to wait to justify purchase of the Brydge pro keyboard.
Do you notice discolouration around the hinge on your screen when you move your ipad to the close position. I am worried the hinge will break the screen. I have the 10.5 inch Ipad air 3 and every time I close the device the pressure from the hinge on the screen discolours temporarily the screen. You can definitely see it on black background
Same thing happened with some keyboards on the iPad Air 2. It’s something about the thickness of the device. If you keep using the keyboard damaging the screen, the discoloration will be permanent
Hit the keyboard symbol key in the top row of keys in Byrne keyboard ,,,,, a keyboard pops up on the iPad screen, hit the emoji smiley on your screen and all the emojis show…. Very easy
Would you happen to know if the Brydge 10.5 keyboard iPad Air or iPad Pro work with iPad 7th Gen? The manufacturer only says that the difference is the size (10.2 vs 10.5). Is there much of a difference between the two?
So does that mean at even at a slightly bigger keyboard size for the iPad I can still use that over the intended size? It won’t affect how the iPad connect to the keyboard via Bluetooth?
What keyboard do you want me to check out next?

Logi, slim not rugged
Tech 24/7 TV Could you use this on the new iPad Air ?
I’d love to see a video about your experiences going iPad only or as your main device. Work, notes, gaming, and more.

that's a great deal! You can (also) now find it at the Apple Store, too.
@@ItsCaputo Awesome!
Can you use this keyboard with a case on your iPad? I don’t want to take my case off every time I use the keyboard
No
This is an excellent keyboard. Got mine from Brydge on “pre-order” based on similar reviews on this channel.
Is i stable? Like does it have a stabilized typing experience. Does the IPad move when you keys very hard. I type really hard sometimes. I just wanted to see if the keyboard moves the iPad or not! Could you please share your experience?
Mike, wha is a compatible screensaver for this and the Max+.❓Since Brydge is gone i cant get that info anymore.
What happens when the battery runs out? Can you replace it - and if so how much will it cost to do so? Thank you.
You charge it??? Lol
That’s what you pay extended warranty for.

Any sign of scratches from the clip?
Not that I remember seeing, but I will take a closer look tomorrow.
@@ItsCaputo hmmm did you check it already?
Mixed Videos the clips are wrapped in rubber so I would assume no scratch
I have been using this keyboard since it was released to the public. I put it on and take it off as needed. No scratches. NONE!
@@Xist-Mob Be careful though, the rubber gasket around the hinge can come off quite easily. Mine did, had to superglue it back.
I really love that pencil stand on your desk.
It's the Thankcase Mushroom Stand and here's an affiliate link to the product on the product on Amazon.

can it work with a case on the ipad
No it cannot

No trakpad??
Why not??
As of iOS 13 you can use one
Because the keyboard came out before Apple added the trackpad functionality to iPadOS

Great review tho! For me its way too pricey, no way its worth almost half the ipad...
To clarify, are you saying the iPad (or the keyboard case) share the same dimensions? This product was made for the 7th and 8th generation iPad.

Where i get one?
The 10.2 Brydge keyboard can now be found at the Apple Store (as well as the app) as of December 11th, however availability might vary by country.
no protection for back of ipad and potential touchpad on future brydge models makes this a non buy for me

You can buy a slim back case from amazon 😉
Get a skin silly. The option of not having a back cover is a choice on your part..
Stephen Nix there is a back cover held on by magnets.
