It would be more punk if you charged us for this, but instead... We all stole it! 😁✌️🇬🇧
You can’t steal what’s being given away for free! 😅 so happy that you’re able to have fun with it, keep rocking the free world! 🤘🤘
Crowhill always giving the great stuff as always love to have this drum library as I wanted like a drum library in general so thanks a lot for that crowhill company and the people working incredibly on these projects
We’re so happy we managed to give you something that you needed! 🙏 thank you so much for your lovely message to, we’ll keep working our hardest to bring you the best stuff!
opening of vid reminds me of Visage - Fade to Grey
You did it again guys! Sounds incredible, love the width and shift control, who cares if it doesn't work in mono, nobody's listening in mono anyway!
Interesting - I came here from the Top Gear video, and listening to it on headphones made me realize that this was the first time I had heard it in stereo; the vast majority of my listening is in mono...
Thank you for your support we’re glad you’re enjoying it 😁
@@charlesgaskell5899 I’m a chronic headphone wearer so, it really varies from person to person and how you listen to stuff 😊
Absolutely incredible, I cannot believe this is free to use.
Sounds great and a lot of fun. Thanks guys👍😃
It really is a blast! You’re very welcome 😊
Beautiful work, thank you 👊
No, Thank YOU 🫵 so much for supporting us!
Thank you! Great sound !
Thanks for taking the time to spread the love 🙏
Thank you so much!!
Already downloaded and used in my latest music and video. Thank you - they sound great. Though I found that increasing the Width seems to focus the drum hits/transients on the left side (which makes sense if the right channel is slightly delayed), so it sounds a little weird. But it's an interesting effect if that's what you want.
Wow! It’s amazing how quickly you managed to use it for your own stuff 👏 if you check some of the comments, one of our developers explained what this effect is called and how it works way better than I ever could 😅
@@TheCrowHillCoThey are great sounding drums, once you figure out the MIDI mapping. Very versatile.
Yes! Pencaitland in the house!
good job on this guys. if i could suggest something, incorporate some synthesis as a mix in option on a future release of a percussion plugin. a PCM/synth like the 80's arranger keyboards
Thank you! 🙏 WE HEAR YOU! It’s not something we’re doing yet with vaults, but on another plugin…
Hi, is there gonna be a RTM Vaults? Im kinda waiting for that, seems cool bye
Thanks a lot! Is there a midi map available? This would be most helpful.
Right? It's a completely different MIDI Map than GM. But it makes sense once you get use to it - you can play the same drums in two places, so it's like using two hands. But a loadable MIDI map would be useful. I might make one for Reaper and upload it to the Reaper Stash. Let me know if this would be useful.
- width would be better with a hi-pass to keep the kick centre
- multi-outs would be great
- even a basic kit mixer with volume sliders and pan pots would help
- for a drumkit a saturation FX would be more useful than a delay
Otherwise even with the nice sound it's lacking features compared with the 3 top FREE drum plugins : BFD Player, MT Powerdrums and SSD5.
Hi Antoine
The Width control is a channel delay, so filtering would not work as expected. This process is known as the haas effect and a really interesting psychoacoustic phenomenon, versus a m/s control you described.
We likely won’t be offering multi outs for vaults, even post beta (this is beta after all) as we want to ensure a singular stereo channel experience for all the modules (piano / synth etc)
However it’s certainly something we are investigating for dedicated plug ins.
And definitely heard on the saturation. Maybe we have a trash kit coming out at some point which deserves all the wave shaping in the world ;) just have to wait and see
Not the sample for me but it sounds incredible.
Thanks! Vaults has multiple samples within one plugin so you’ve got plenty of toys to play with!
How many round robins?
Only the ones that over-ate
Please remove the internet requirement so I can install it on my offline pc.
Hey, good news YOU CAN
Vaults Beta can be installed offline. Simply download it and move that installer you your desired machine. (Applies to Vaults only)
@@camgoold I tried that 3 months ago
Just make sure you move the .pkg over (after it’s downloaded) and not the downloader file itself
I hate this width parameter, but other things are really good
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you’re enjoying the plugin 🙏
Given the 1970s "do it yourself" ethos of punk, valuing raw emotion over technical quality or even competency - the complete antithesis of the 2020s aesthetic of excellence - it's not obvious what a "punk drums" virtual instrument should look like in 2024
That’s a really good analysis of the genre and the zeitgeist of how things are different in the modern era!
Oh, man, really have to point that the width control sounded very very odd and disturbing on my phone.
So I checked in my studio and same sensation.
If adding just a delay it causes bad bad flamming sound that personally seems so wrong with a drum sound!
Please don't take this comment in a bad way, just want to help communicating my personal technical feelings...
The width parameter introduces comb filtering, which makes the hihats sound completely unrealistic. Check it in mono and you will hear what i mean.
Hey the width control is the famous haas effect. Meaning it only works in stereo as it delays a single channel. When summing to mono, make sure this is set to its minimum value to prevent miss aligned transients.
Sorry, I pointed out this in another comment, just because I didn't even read this!
No way this Haas on the drums is an effect, the Haas effect is definitely an error, and really a bad one on every instrument.
Please step back on this, because this is really really annoying and wrong.
Please don't let people think you have to be in stereo to ear that good, because you can't do music just for people that have to listen to it in stereo because you can't control how people is listening to your music.
As said in the other comment of mine this is not an hate comment, just my personal tech point on this, to try to help improve your instrument.
@@GrazianoCammisa Hi Graziano, Thanks for the feedback. I can assure you this is not an error but understood that we should be communicating its use and the theory behind it in more detail in the future. We would strongly suggest not using this effect if you intend on folding to mono (The same for the stereo delay included). Luckily there are 5 other amazing effects included in this free download, so plenty of fun still to be had.
@@camgoold fun assured for sure, it sounds amazing for the sample you choosed!
Compress your voice better than the drums next time, please. 💙
We hear ya!
