3 weeks ago I traded my boring 15 pro max for this masterpiece and I'm glad I did that.
the new phone shape fits perfectly the shape of your brain, both rectangular
That's exactly how i feel about iphones, i use them for a while even a couple of years but they just get boring and look exactly the same as the older phones. This s24 ultra i'm loving everthing about it. Keep those updates coming. Amazing phone.
Congrats and welcome to the Samsung club
I traded my A54 for iPhone 12 and it was the best decision I ever made! Love that quick and smooth phone!
@@sklynexd you compared $300 phone to $800 phone and then you really suprised that $800 phone are better than $300 phone 🤣
The phone just has it all, especially after the update. And more updates to come. Phone is simply amazing. I left the 14 pro max i had iphones since the 11 pro max i just get bored after a while, samsung/android just lets you do whatever you please with the phone with no restrictions.
I also have the 14Pro Max and want to upgrade it to the S24Ultra. Should I upgrade or not?
What is your opinion after coming from iPhone?
Previously I have used S22ultra, then I bought 14pro max which is my first iPhone. 14Pro Max is a very good phone but I don't like it.
@@TypicalRizwan I use the S23 ultra and its amazing
@TypicalRizwan I did. It's been great
I love the split screens, Notes to scribble my thoughts and calendar app to write my schedule (u need the s-pen).. and one-handed gesture to minimise the screen to use single-handedly.. The more features u explore, the more u stick with Samsung. :D
Been rocking a Ringke case that is amazing. Grippy texture and flexible.
3:41 S24 Ultra Display ❤
Yeah!.. We love that grain problem that Samsung marketing people don't want anyone to mention!..😂😂😂

i had an iphone 12 who start being a bit slow and wanted to try something new and got the s24 ultra , everything works perfectly and will probably stay with android for awhile ! very responsive screen
Great review
Extra brightness great with battery life as well
Tx Matt it's a good review
Great overview, Matthew. I've been using my S24 Ultra in Titanium Orange for almost a week, and it's nice. Speedy performance, bright display, and long-lasting battery life.
Thanks! Ya it's a great phone
Link for the case ? It’s a beautiful case .
So whats your take should i buy one plus open or s 24 ultra
Did you switch sound to Dolby sound? It sounds really nice.
It's the mic.
Can you drop a link for the case please?
Who agrees that the s24 ultra is the King 👇
I agree bro. It's amazing. The battery life is freaking awesome.
Yes Sir 🫡
King of what? A phone?? Buy a phone that works for you lol, a phone is a phone !
@@swizzler8053Yeah True, Sometimes I used it straight for 2 days that too within 20-80% battery.
I agree with you, i dropped mine today on concrate floor, no cracks, no scratches.
Going from a iphone 14 max. Do you think it's a big difference other than it's iOS systems? Do you think it's a better move? I guess it is kinda late I've ordered mine and I haven't had an galaxy since the note 8 .
I've stuck with my S23 Ultra for another year. Looking forward to the S25 Ultra when we will actually see some bigger changes like cameras.
Im looking for a new phone to get any ideas if i should get the s23 or the s24?
I bought s24 ultra for S pen plus AI, and samsung note, i use them heavily on daily basis
Swiss Army of Android phones. Great description 👌🏾
Thanks for watching!
I tried 3 cases before i found the right one had to go clear pc slim so yeah that part and The only reason I miss my fold is because it folds. Besides that, the s24u is the best phone i have used so far.
Gonna buy it in october.
What game was that you were playing?
Yeah I agree with you
The cameras are lagging behind big players from China. Every year they launch the phone with beta software
The phone of year but since I have the s23 ultra i will wait for z fold 6
got it as a fun phone to experience android again after using iphone for 6 years. So glad I did, I don't go back to my 14 pro max anymore. It is insane how far android and Samsung has come, it's an absolute pleasure. Only thing I don't like is the over saturation of the camera, but the portrait shots look freaking incredible!
Also performance and battery life are God-tier. I think this will be the best phone of the year even though it is early.
I wonder if there'll be A Non Reflective Screen protector for previous Samsung phones? ie. The S23 ultra.
Please unbox the samsung book 4 ultra
Hey, did you face any issues with the display, grainy look in low brightness?
There's an increasing amount of tweets regarding this in recent days.
Those are fake tweets and lies. Pure lies. The phone is great. We have 3 in our house and not one of them has any issues with grainy display or w/e
Do not listen to the Sales Reps and deceitful marketing people trolling these channels to make people think this unfixable grainy display issue is all a fabrication. It is a real problem for many people. And many people don't even test for it after buying their devices.
I just want to back you up and point out that I know two people in my close family who have returned their S24 Ultra's with this grain problem.
@moafishing5654 no it is not fake. I have it, and it pisses me of. Unfortunately I have passed the return window, so now I have the dilemma if I should get rid of it, or smash the screen so it can be replaced by a new one under samsung care. I shouldn't have to slthink of such things from a phone that cost me almost 1400€.
@@moafishing5654just because u have great ones doesn’t mean the others don’t have issues. You are the liar
Just got the blue version for 950$ with the student discount and I’m so happy, it’s fantastic coming from a Huawei p30 pro. And I have this exact case in my AliExpress cart, I was wondering if it provides any protection
Can you link the case please ?
The only complain i have is speakers while on phone...when on call when i put it on speakerphone it is not upto the mark. I think they have decrease the volume or something for speakers while on calls
Which screen protector are you all rocking on this bad boy?
I just got two phones for me and my gf and searching for the screen protectors..

S24 seems good. But, Matt! This video is bigger than it. You deserve likes as usual.
Hopefully, its still a good option. It's the latest model that basically just came out lol. Making it seem like 2 months is a few years
question i really want a new phone so iam kinda wondering which to choice the s24plus or the s23 ultra ( because the budget can't go for the s24U) but the thing is s24plus in my country comes with the ex2400 not the snapdragon 8 , iam currently using the s9 plus which been with me for like 6y I think now
I think you would enjoy the s23 ultra. I have the S22 ultra right now and was considering getting the S24 ultra but I don't think it's worth it for me to upgrade just yet.
@@Pashmotatoe: How is your s22 ultra battery backup and charging speed.? Any lagging issues so far?
Go with s24 ultra new version
@@mustaqeemgazali9471 So no any dislikes about the s24u for its price then?
I have a Samsung S7 and I'm thinking about upgrading to S24 ultra but it's quite an investment to make... still watching videos and reviews to decide
Coming from the S10+ I think it is a upgrade. When using stock apps the operating speed surprisingly was pretty similar (W for the s10). I really noticed the stronger performance and quality when taking pictures. Very impressed with the camera and will leave my Nikon 1 definitely at home for vacation photos.
You can save a few bucks with trade-in, 10% of total price with exclusive color and double storage for same price depending if they tun the promotion.
It's crazy to think ,
That your S7 lasted this long geez lol 😆
Goes to show you how well Samsung builds their phones 📱 👍
I have the S20+ 5G 4 years old and it's still going like a champ 🏆 no joke
But I will update this year sometime only because I have no updates left and the battery still pretty good , but of course not 100% but besides that the phone works flawlessly 🥳
Their flagship is good but midrange are an issue @@nccapone344
@@GIJohn1994 from where I am there is no sale like that at the moment. Now we can get a watch 6 for free but nothing else

I don’t know if I should trade my 15 pro max in the favor of buying an s24 ultra. The only downside is that I need readdle apps for pdf whereas android has absolutely no alternative to pdf expert by readdle. Even UPDF is not as good as readdles version.
If you can afford it keep your iPhone 15 PM and buy the s24U straight out… I did and I’m glad I did because the 15PM is just such a great experience, especially cameras, which are inferior to the iPhone.
I have a Pixel 8 Pro and have only activated circle to search accidentally. I've never needed it and it keeps getting in the way so I may turn it off.
I trade my fold 4 to this new beast few days ago. I did see display is abit colder than my fold 4, i thought my display is broken but i look up the google and everybody said so. It not people fault that they said it not vivid like previous samsung.
anyone noticed that when u put the display on extra dim, the screen becomes grainy for sime reason?
It's great and will get even better with future updates. Samsung always gives people their updates for camera enhancements, bug fixes etc. It only gets better.
Except when software updates are sent out to cause problems in your S24 Ultras strangely at the same time as the S25 Ultra comes out. A year from now and your battery life will go downhill and thermal problems will occur. Mark my words. I have been there on three separate occasions.
You shouldn’t need to wait for updates to fix issues on a brand new, out of the box phone.
I'm not sure but maybe it's something about being able to address things need fixing after millions of people use the device and point them out rather than in the development @@robhughes8516
@@robhughes8516it can happen by mistake. Even with other brands like Apple have many bugs when it came out
Im not really that concerned about the speaker since I use my earbuds and wired earphones most of the time lol.
I'm ok with having updates to improve the cameras in a phone but this is clearly unfinished software and that's unacceptable in a phone this expensive.
Almost as if it was rushed but they know their release schedule....
I mean, compared to every 15 pro max photo he showed in this video the samsung looked far cleaner, as well the video. So sure it may need some tweaking but for it to beat out the iphone, still a W
@@anonym5510 But you shouldn't have to wait 3 or 4 months to start taking good pictures.

And?
Matthew, haven't you noticed that grainy screen yet and the visible banding ?
Make a brand by ur own to satisfy ur standard mark @ will be worth for u
This is why samsung phones are called iphones of android especially the s24 ultra this is the true flagship king the software the hardware on this phone is amazing theres so much features on this phone not even the iphone itself dosent have much it has an amazing battery life its amazing cameras god tier display and so much and so more iv been using mine totally worth it if you want this beast
What game are you playing at 3:31?
It looks like D4.
The photos you took looked outstanding with the Ultra 🤦🏿♂️
Best you’ve ever seen right? 😂😂
I upgraded this weekend and my only issue is that the speakers to my iphone 13 sound better. The s24u sounds very tinny. Too much treble and distortion
Turn on Dolby Atmos, and use the built-in equalizer to get the sound 🔊 you want.
@@rolins3279 I appreciate it but Its still unmatched. Atmos takes the depth out of everything and makes it sounds futuristic if that makes any sense. The EQ helps but have to immediately turn it off everytime I use Android Auto or bluetooth otherwise its going to blow my speakers. Is there a way to only have the EQ apply to the phones speakers?
@@1MountainLife Oddly enough, even with the built-in equalizer, my EQ is different with or without earbuds connected 🤔
Try equalizing the smartphone with the built-in equalizer, and your earbuds with Wavelet for example.
Two months since you used it? Why didn't you use it...?
It's worth to note that S24 Ultra has the most advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SOC, but Samsung's software limitation is holding back audio capabilities of the new CPU. No aptX Adaptive support? Seriously? They offer older codecs, even their own SSC, but not the latest tech. Let's demand Samsung unlock our phones potential! #aptXAdaptive #SamsungCommunity I started a community post regardung this topic through Samsung Members EU page a few days ago and it is getting lots of attention. Let's make Samsung do something about it, showing that we care about our audio experience on our new flagship Smartphones!! We want to spread the awareness of this limitation. Lack of APTx HD / older specs of APTx Adaptive or even LHDC for Lossless Audio that phone supports via FLAC is a problem that Samsung have been skipping since S23 Ultra release ignoring audio enthusiast and that's enough!!
I replaced mine and moved back to the s23 ultra bescause of the grainy screen problems en and green spots
I still use the s23 ultra because i canceled my order after my sister got her 24ultra in first and that wasn't because of the screen it's just that I prefer the subtle curve on the s23ultra screen better than the full flat screen. Okay when it comes to that screen as u mentioned it's not granny, it's just a different tech to what we are used to on the previous ultra screens, I blv the screen goes way dimmer compared to the s23ultra down to the 21ultra and that's why it seem to show those pixels on extra dim. I do not think there is anything wrong with the phone screen. Besides, the s24ultra isn't an upgrade to the s23 ultra it's just a refinement. Personally, I'll wait for the s26ultra of the s25 ultra doesn't change, too.
Careful Bro.. Don't mention Graingate on here or you will be castigated as a liar!..😂😂👍
I was not expecting him to say aliexpress
"Samsung gives you everything you want."
Yeah. Everything except a headphone jack and expandable memory. It's still the best phone out there, it just irks me that these things never show up on mainstream phones anymore.
I need help... RUclips videos, Netflix, paramount... None of them work in true full screen mode. To me this is a deal breaker, esp at1299 USD. Am I missing smth? I have 2huge ass bands on each sides of the screen
For me the speakers on S23 Ultra are better than S24 Ultra because sound are more crispy and the bass are low. And I felt the battery drained faster than S23U.
Same, think about switching back to S23 Ultra
Laptop setups videos? Been a while ….

It's both
@@adamweston6977 I have it and it's a false port like the iPhone
My display is set to natural. I actually prefer the toned down realistic colors versus the s23 ultra.
The fact that Matthew is still not at 1M sub is a crime. Ppl subscribe!
Just did lol...
In Pakistan it is still not officially launched yet everyone is selling for high price 😭
I just got 15% off for my birthday and ordered it along with free buds 2 pro! i got it in Titanium violet i have had hands on with one before it is BIG and boxy but something about that display shape just feels more normal than rounded corners sure it's a trade off because it's not as comfortable to hold but watching content or reading on it feels amazing. IOS has become stale they've done nothing exciting with it for years now and it's just too boring to use. Apple being so restricted to their eco system has always been something i dislike so Samsung being more open and allowing much more freedom is a welcome change.
Its very great phone, its just ... that .... if it had a redesign
That is genuinely coming next year with the 25 Ultra.
That will come next year with the S25 Ultra.
I've also had it for over 60 days, and I hate it. It's too big and too heavy. I've dropped it soo many times and it's too heavy on my phone holder on my dash. I miss the s21+. I'm still not over the price!!
With the update the s24 ultra has been really bad what's going on
I sent mine back because the screen looked grainy. One thing is for certain, Apple’s customer service is definitely better.
Still using my Note8 😅 Still debating again
Which city do u live in Canada
S24U is king 🔥🔥🔥🔥
But. Hmmmmm. They are still charging for the battery chargers 7:48
Hmm….. not sure about the grainy issues people have, you tubers don’t want to report, $2500 gamble on a massive hardware issue, you should see how mamy people have returned it, shocking.
Also Ai Isn’t Samsung’s its googles.
It has dex?
Yes
S23 ultra was better in terms of video quality , specially in low light. I was thinking of buying this phone but seeing all the reviews its better to go for 15 pro max as its camera is way more better.
I wouldn't pay for built in features lol ai shouldn't cost anything
Only the OGs remember Touch Wiz. That shit was terrible.😂
Its 2024, and they cant make a phone that starts after an update without me unlocking it. I love being late to work when my alarms don't go off. Come on samsung
If you consider it today, its still a good option! Dude, the phone just got released, lol
I know, funny right? He’s talking like it’s been out for years.
I can't believe you've had this phone for 2 months while Samsung is completely incapable of releasing it in Argentina!
My OCD hates how the phone doesn't sit completely flat. 😂
But if Samsung start charging for A I. They are going to start losing customers
I'm wondering whether to buy the galaxy s24ultra or the iPhone15promax,which one is better?
I’m similar
Pro max. I've got the s24 ultra and regret buying it.
@matthewclements8661 You don't hear this too often. What are your regrets specifically?
@CoachD77 nope you don't. It's not a bad phone its just not what i was expecting. The phone is too big and heavy for a start, and the sharp corners are a real pain in the arse, especially when putting it in and out pockets. A phone this size should definitely have a slight curve on the corners. The battery life isn't that good , I was expecting it to be top notch but I'm not getting much more out of it than i used to with my 13pro. I aren't on either side when it comes to phones, I've had lots of androids and apple phones over the years, I just like to try the latest phones out and this model was getting a lot of hype so bought it. Samsung are banging on about the AI in this phone because AI is the new buzz word but being honest it's all a bit of a gimmick. The pixel does everything this phone does in Google photos, plus I think the pixel has a nicer cleaner OS than this phone. Biggest problem I've got with it is that i don't actually like the look of it, I'm not a fan of the square design and the camera layout, I also.bought the titanium grey colour which I've totally gone off, I normally buy black or darker coloured phones but i watched too many youtube reviews and people raving about this colour so bought. I don't care about all the customisation you can do on android. I prefer the cleaner more boring OS on the iphone. Basically just way too much stuff on this phone that will never be used, like the s pen. I couldn't tell you what the camera is like as i don't ever use it. I've messed around with it in the house but that's it. The iphone suits my needs more. I'd trade for a 15 pro max straight away.
@@matthewclements8661 I’ve seen a lot of RUclipsrs stating the battery life is brilliant, especially since the phone got a major software update, sucks your battery life isn’t that great man, I’ve been with android for a long time always Samsung, switched to iPhone a year ago and i do like it, I just need a new phone because the battery on mine isn’t so good anymore I have the 11 pro max, one thing I do notice and like a lot is that the battery on iPhones do seem to last a long time through out the day

Amazed you criticised the speakers. It's a multimedia powerhouse. Great battery, speakers and screen. Definitely gonna be up there in most best of 2024 reviews come the end of the year. Completely agree with you on camera though. It's very meh by 2024 flagship standards.
Nah if you play something side by side with another phone you'll hear there'sa significant difference. I upgraded this weekend and my iphone 13 has better speakers. More full and actually have low end you can hear where as certain low tones I dont hear from the S24u even after tweaking the EQ. Its more annoying with audiobooks and podcasts since you arent hearing the full range of the person speaking
@@1MountainLife really? I came from pixel 8 pro and they are such an upgrade. Best speaks I've had on a phone were z fold 4 and they are as good as I remember them being. who says im putting a screen protector on it. I never use them they take away from the display quality and not worth it.
Hard pass on paying for the AI features. I tried them and it's cool but not worth actually paying extra for
Just get the S23 ultra or any of the series and u'll get the AI features too
Good luck with the green lines and other screen issues. That's a Samsung trademark.
Yeah, TouchWiz was awful. Samsung got really awesome since the S10 series and I'm a total Samsung Stan now.
S23 ultra feels like more complete phone than s24 ultra for some reason .

Becox in local market S24 Ultra anti reflective tempered not available
Only Officially webiste is anti reflective skin available…?
My doubt is if i put tempered then its work anti reflective or not…?

If you don't like reflections, either get a matte glass screen protector or an anti reflective film
