Their strategy appears to be prolonging the war, or at least not letting Ukraine collapse before Nov. election, to get Biden finish the election. Meanwhile the Ukrainians are dying everyday, having far more weapons than their soldiers can manage. And Speaker Johnson said that we don't lose a soldier that is a good deal. It's a betrayal to people in both countries, other than those Oligarchs.
Anyone who voted for that bill should be voted out on November. No doubt. We don’t have enough money to waste it. Awful.

Bill I believe the no vote for Ukraine is more due to the lack of accountability and the fact we are paying to support their border and not our own.
Our border is not being invaded by a foreign enemy with their tanks, infantry, mines, aircraft, missiles, drones, artillery, gas, etc attacking private homes, apartment complexes, schools, hospitals, power infrastructure, food production facilities, etc. How do you make any moral or ethical equivalency to US Borders and a country being invaded by a genocidal killer who has made it clear since 2004 that there is no such thing as Ukraine, Ukrainian language or culture, etc.? As for accountability it has been there since day 1 with auditors at the US Embassy in Kyiv. Also the recent DOD IG report put the blame on the US and the logistics trail for no manifest, incomplete manifests, incorrect manifests, and just plain old human error. No surprise when you move that much equipment.
How much money does Ukraine need. Plus we don't know where it's going! That's what bothers us!

Thank you for your updates on the news. The inflation has hit the middle class really hard. We are paying double for our food. Gas is up to $5.77 a gallon in California. As far as the the wars, it is good to help your neighbors, but you have to take care of your own country first. As far as the squad ,if they don't like the USA. Let them go to another country. I don't like the U.S. constantly funding other countries especially when earlier today I was reading about a program, The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is ending at the end of this month because Congress didn't fund it. The ACP is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and etc. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30/month for eligible households. Our tax money can't be used to help our fellow Americans but Congress continues to use our money to help other countries. This is what pisses me off!
