Youve peaked my interest, ive heard alot of the bad things behind the scenes when we did not have social media for those people to spread their awareness.
The point XQC made about school and work giving you structure is SO true. It's really something that is so important. If you ever find yourself struggling, you should try finding structure or a routine you can stick to, even if it doesnt feel good at first.
If this isn’t the truest thing I have read i don’t know what is i had bad depression for a while to the point I wouldn’t leave the house but my sister helped me get a job and getting into that routine helped so much
for real man i had been struggling mentally yk and i just stuck to a solid routine and fixed my sleep and it literally changed my world, discipline is the most freeing thing ever and it dont cost anything but ur time and dedication
I recommend watching a philosophy video on Stoicism. Will keep your head afloat even in times of ultimate despair & hardship
I don't know if I would've agreed some time ago but after coming to Japan with my brother and working part-time for several months, it's very true. If you're depressed you really need some way to force yourself to be at least somewhat productive, ofc don't overwork yourself but if you're left alone you know you won't do shit so you need life to force you. Getting a job is one way to do that.
I'm not severely depressed or anything but I do think I have ADHD and exhibit anhedonia, procrastination, etc.

Paparazzi and the media can ruin lives too not just high school/college bullies. I read somewhere that Emma Watson tried killing herself after Prisoner of Azkaban because of the media and the paparazzi abusing her and just making her life unbearable. Am I the only one who got a bad sort of nostalgia watching all these people some of us used to watch?
Like instead of remembering it as a good time the actors fate was too game changing for me to respect them or their work.
I'd be cautious to put all the blame on these kids. It's hard to imagine their lifestyle. Most of these kids are forced into these roles by their parents and sometimes these parents are abusive looking at their children as a paycheck. Not to mention the abuse that can happen by the people who produce these movies and shows and basically have complete control over these children if they want to stay on the shows. There are many stories of sexual abuse that happens to child actors and there may be more that we don't even know about. These kids can be put in positions where they are wholly vulnerable and no one is protecting them, not even their parents. Hollywood is a strange, perverse place.

I hate how they portray Drake Bell's actor tbh. His wife claimed those things, but he was never declared guilty, and therefore it shouldn't be used to show he's a bad person. In the instance with the 15yo we actually saw proof that he tried to avoid the individual, and that they lied about their age to get backstage with him, where he allegedly messed with her. It's all just accusations and nothing concrete, which I think is really crappy.
