TRULY AMAZING SHE KEPT HER VOICE.AWESOME! PAT had pitches her in voice she sang high and low listen to difference techniques she used still sounds great.
In 1996 at Disney World's 25th Anniversary, my wife and I were guests and enjoyed the event . . . One of the evenings was at Pleasure Island with Black Hawk, Usher and on the West Side . . . Pat Benatar . . . I remember seeing this 80's icon and thinking . . . "wow, she's still got it . . " It's 2024 and she and Neil are STILL kicking . . . What an inspiration!!!!
Thanks for the post. Saw Pat Benatar on her Get Nervous Tour in late 82. If my memory is correct Men at Work was the warm up band. Back in the day Pat and her band put on one hellva show. All that for less than ten dollars. Lmao
@@curtisphilumalee1447 that's a great memory to have! 82 is when I started going to shows and it was $13.50 all day 5 band show at old JFK stadium. We got a good deal for a buck in the days the before the birth of Live Nation and the rest of the promoter/ticket seller monopolies
I’m girlfriend at the time which is my wife now. We were talking about the concert as she heard your upload playing on my phone. She reminded me we drank a bunch of jungle juice before the concert with our friends out in the parking lot and the girls were able to sneak in two flasks because the cops wouldn’t search the girls. Anyways she told me Pat Benatar opened up with Get Nervous and the stage lights went into strobing mode and you guessed it I got ill. Lmao Things to tend to forget but are reminded about 40 years later. Again thanks for upload. Enjoyed it.
@@curtisphilumalee1447 everything about that story I was nodding my head, done all of that right up to the puking part 😂 the 80s were great, glad you and your wife liked the vid, I do it in the spirit of old school bootlegging, so I'm always glad when they get to real music fans! Take care
Neil got a new BC Rich Eagle with a Whammy Tremolo! Nice! Wonder if he still has his 76 Supreme with the fixed bridge? he used on the studio recording, I still have my Eagle! Just because of HIM!
I'm a child of the 70s and Pat is one of MANY that I saw live and loved over the years but these days I just don't know whether to be amazed by how good they sound or suspicious that it's just another act using tracks. Technology and the dishonest use of it by many have really sucked a lot of the magic out of "live" shows.
@@ajo3085 I'm from that same wonderful time period as well, and I have that same thought every time I see a band from "back in the day" too. I think use of backing tracks is pretty ubiquitous throughout the industry, Pat didn't SEEM to be relying heavily on it on this night but really who knows?
@@sarsippius67 It's definitely sad it's come to this point where we are in doubt. That last few times I've seen Alice Cooper (for instance), I've been amazed how little his voice has changed but then you look at the ones who have been caught and it gets you wondering. Best case scenario Pat, Alice and others are still singing live but given the amount of cheating that has gone on in the past decade or so, doubt really messes with your enjoyment. Very sad.
@@ajo3085 Seems we have to suspend disbelief, which is hard for a cynic such as myself! That said, I'll see Alice again too because those are truly fun shows
At 16 he played with Rick Derringer. Rick was so intimidated with Neil's guitar playing, he put Neil on Keys... Where he also shined! Prodigy talent for sure.
We saw her in Lincoln on the first tour date 2024....Myron drums was a real treat for me...brought back a ton of memories....not sure who this is but its not Myron.
Pat and Neil are "aging rockers" who should NOT retire. They sound and look great!!
Have been a fan since 1979 Pat is the best.
Same.

Pat still sounds great. This is one of the better live cell phone videos of a live concert from an older band I have heard in a while.
What a true love between them and amazing career
Her best song
The crowd is dead. Pat Benater is amazing. Listen to that incredible voice since the 80's.
Pat your voice still sounds great!
HELL IS FOR CHILDREN is my most favorite Pat Benatar song!
The heLL it raised back in the days of release!
And Fire and Ice... her best songs.
That was good. She sounded like she hasn't missed a beat. Thanks for sharing the video.
They still got it.

:) Love both of them. Thanks for posting.
How old is she now? I love this song... Love Benetar!!
She is 71 now.
Just look at her husband start out on the piano and pick up that guitar!😍
Spyder’s a badass🤘😀

I see she's down to a half-octave range. Low energy.
At least she does it with class.
She's 30 years older than my grandma you 🤡 She sounds great.......
she is 71 look at Ann Wilson.. same deal... at least we have patricia from long island..

Myron was a BEAST!!! Wish he was still touring with them. His drumming pushed them right over the top!
