    The fact that this beautiful, powerfully talented woman is not in the hall of fame, makes the hall irrelevant.

    I wonder if she and her husband realize how much their music means to many of us ? It relaxes us brings us back to good times in our lives. Their songs are and will always be priceless to me. I hope to see them again live . The last time was at the Capital Centre in Largo Maryland 1980s.

    Neil is one of the most underrated guitar players ever, f-ing phenomenal! And what is MIND BLOWING is that if you watch a 2021 video of Pat singing PITD, she sounds 99% as good as she did in 2001! Must have been clean living as this is SO rare for a lead vocalist!

    Pat Benetar is a Queen of Rock N Roll. Along with Stevie Nicks, Ann & Nancy Wilson, they paved the way for women to make their mark on musical history. Proving they could indeed Rock with the boys.
    Pat was lucky to be born with music in her genes. Her mother Millie is a trained opera singer. As fate would have it, her life changed when met Neil Giraldo. Now 30+ years later, Pat & Spyder are STILL going strong. Its hard to believe but Pat celebrated her 60th birthday on 1/10/13. Long Live Rock

    • @wolenest
      @wolenest 7 лет назад

      Easy. The percussion playing is way off tempo & the guitar playing is lousy. It's like the guitarist & drummer are freelancing 2 different numbers simultaneously. 1 of the worst versions of an iconic classic I have ever heard in my entire life.

    • @wolenest

      @s b The fact remains singers are judged on their live performances every single time they walk out on stage. I didn't think this performance was as good as it needed to be for such an established, iconic singer as Miss Benatar. It's as simple as that. Beautiful job of deflection there BTW. I am not judging all singers in a given era simply a lone live performance. Have a nice day.

    • @wolenest
      @wolenest 6 лет назад

      @s b So, let get this straight, anybody that disagrees with your opinion is automatically deemed "an asshat?" Please. Did I say Pat had no talent? No. Did I say that she wasn't worthy of the Rock N Roll HOF? No. My sister bought all her records growing up so, trust me when I tell you that I am well versed with her musical catalog. Life goes on...

    Lets see, Chet Atkins, Grandmaster Flash, NWA, Johnny Cash, Notorious B.I.G. and Parliament are all in the "Rock and Roll" Hall of Fame. But not Pat Benatar. Someone who is an actual rocker. Amazing. She is far more genuine than most of the singers presently in there. Note that T-Rex is in the Hall of Fame and only had one top 10 hit in the US. That's right, one.

  • @paulquinter2785
    @paulquinter2785 2 года назад

    No, ya no es la misma Pat Benatar en sus años. Ésta canción hay una parte como a la mitad que requiere elevar mucho la voz y ahora en ese 2001 ya no la pudo levantar. Véase el minuto 3 . Sigue siendo una estrella, pero muchas cantantes a su edad aún sostienen muy bien las notas altas.
