Great review and funny video too! I rcvd mine today. Bought it online and paid $218 with a charger and a 4ah battery. Free shipping. Subscribed to your channel!
I recently had to cut a steel lintel to size. I only had an angle grinder. I had to wear my leather apron and gloves, and a full face shield. Those sparks!!!! Wish I had this tool.
Took long enough as always you did a good job on the video ridgid needs to do is come out with impact rated bits blades and they're good to go I know people want a jointer I don't think that's going to happen and they're asking for Ope that's not going to happen but to see this it's progress all I they got to do bring out a new 7 1/4 compound sliding miter saw cordless bam
I have requested ridgid send me a tool I like to review in different setting. Things like yiu said no sparks see what it does with copper and other metals see how clean cuts etc
@Tool Review Zone. Thanks for the review on that Ridgid band saw. It would be nice to see a brushless version. In your tests, see how well that saw can cut aluminum downspouts without chattering. Hope you, your brother, and your families stay safe and well.
Dang it. I didn't want a cordless bandsaw until I saw the TRZ review. And Ridgid is my jam, so add that up and now I'm screwed. Gonna have to get one. GEE, THANKS A LOT, TRZ!!!!! 😆lulz
A couple more thoughts: 1. -Yeah, not Octane, but it is brushless. That's half the battle anyway, when it comes to motor lifetime and battery consumption anyway.- EDIT: I seem to have been mistaken about this. I can find no evidence on the Ridgid new tools page of it being brushless, so unless I find some, I'm forced to conclude that it's a brushed tool. MY BAD, ALL!! Bummer. 2. The annotation at 2:05 says "may be the only good thing that came out of this crap year." Not that Ridgid can do much about the * rest * of 2020's shortcomings, but what about the new Subcompact line they released? 3. "LIKE" button smeeshed, of course! .
I have to say, I looked all over the manual and could not find anything saying it was Brushless, but also could not find anything saying it was brushed either...unless I missed it. That said, I looked on the tools itself and could not find an area for where the Brushes would go, so I'm leaning towards Brushless. Great observation though 👊
Had mine for a month now and it's great. Cuts everything and battery life is excellent. 199 bucks with charger and 4amp battery
I just ordered the high torque impact gun, NOW I NEED THIS ALSO...
Lol at the supervisor scene 🤣
battery bandsaws are awesome and great video bro
Damn right Man Caver! And keep up the great content brother 👊

Thanks for the comment Ony, and welcome to the channel!!!
real nass like. yeah those angle grinders seem scary throwing sparks almost everywhere. reciprocateing saws seems ok but a lot vibrating.
Damn right brother 👊

Need a full size one. Reciprocating saw will take care of the small stuff this does.
Ridgid is making some exciting tools. I love what they're doing and I love your content.
When this populated to Home Depot's website before the listing got hidden, it was listed at $179.00
Nice Demonstration clint 👍 👌 @ToolReviewZone
👍👌 thanks for review the ridgid bandsaw
The softer the metal the faster speed you should cut with ...helps the blade root not to fill up with debris from the material.
Next time you call ridgid, request a deep cut band saw
I put no less than 200 comments on ridgid RUclips channel begging for a Portaband. Thank God it's finally here.
Haha, they finally listened 👊
It’s out today 😍
How’s the saw holding up after almost 2 years?

Yeah brother, agreed. Glad they got it out though 👊👊👊
@@ToolReviewZone me to show the future looks bright for them
Did nice work on that angle iron!
I was really surprised how fast it went though Don. Really happy with this one bro
U can adjust the deck an how blades run on the wheels
What about when it jams and needs to restart?
Is that your Ridgid band saw shirt. Lol. Had it for 3 years. Lol
I like this one better. Mainly cause it is one handable. 👊😎🎸
Hahaha, it's my very special shirt bro lol
Watching your video makes me spend money easily😂
Lol, sorry Anne 🙋♂️
When are you doing the 12 month review?
I can do a one year later👊 I have a few new Ridgid Tools I need to get too first, but I'll make it happen 😉
Your call with ridgid sounds like me trying to deal with e-replacement parts
Hahahahaha
Would be nice if all these bandsaw's came with a self tracking dial
Very close to the ryobi like a cousin
I have requested ridgid send me a tool I like to review in different setting. Things like yiu said no sparks see what it does with copper and other metals see how clean cuts etc
I have both this anbthe ryobi bandsaw an they are virtually identical an for the cost inwish I had just bought the ryobi
The band saw is 179 it was on home-depots website until removed
Ahhh, they must have told them to take it down. They have been doing that to Milwaukee as well
Close cousin to the Ryobi compact band saw.
Well they are the same company..
Bradley Henady TTI makes them both. “Ryobi” power tools brand is licensed by TTI. Ridgid is owned by Emerson Electric.
JUst got it, cut two pieces of 2x2 wood and now the blade pops off, is the blade bad already? did the wheels wear down after two uses?

Its about damn time.
I wish they had the big band saw but I’m sure it’s coming soon.
any news on the compact blower!!?
From what I heard soon that will be coming out along with the hammer drill
Thomas Carroll thanks!
It looks nice, it took too long to come out though so I already bought the new milwaukee one lol
Good presentation, _ The blade length is not 72 7/8" The correct blade length is.................................................32 7/8"
How did your talk with ridgid go?
I'll post a vid tomorrow brother 👊
I don’t know about this band saw. My blade keeps falling off as soon as I start cutting.
Mine wont hold the blade unless I am cutting butter
Hahaha, great stuff man thanks for the vid!
Thanks Levi!!!!
Great video Clint @ToolReviewZone
I'd like to see makita's. We use makita due to us owning a hundred of their batteries
🍻🍺🌭
Real Nasss like👍
Отличный аппарат, недавно купил такую

Slice and dice bro
