When you clear data from other apps like Facebook ect, it will delete your email and password, in other words, you'll have to reenter your info to login, so remember your passwords for all similar apps.
I only clear my cache memory. Clraring data means I have to reenter all of my sign in and information, etc. every time I sign into an account/app. I miss when you used to be able to just clear the cache all around with just a few gestures instead of individual apps like they have it now. Boy do I miss LG and Huawei phones.

I freed up following the gallery app clear catche and data and freed a lot, now i have 6gb+ of spare space. Thank you so much.

Can I also do this with the "photos" app, or will it delete all of my pictures. My gallery is only a couple hundred MB but my photos is 2GB.
Haven't tried it. It will delete your info, so, you'll have to set it up again upon opening it. Photos are in cloud so they will not be deleted.

did you clear your trash ? not no go there and recover. if you cleared trash you will neeed a data recovery software to get them back
