Hi I just got my a51 but I just wanted to ask mine came with 20gb storage alr used and idk if this is norm? And it's not a used phone it's brand new also my system memory is talking 16.7 GB

I am fascinated to see the use of just one hand by reviewers and other users, I hold my phone in my left hand and then use my right hand to use the phone features, (I'm right handed). I have never managed to use just one hand, to me it's so slow, but that's my fault, ( I'm 70 and my fingers aren't as nimble as they once were! ).

Do not use the double press button setting, or you will start to have problems with that buttom very soon. Use the dedicated setting and save the button. Trust me.
yea same as the shift in computers, if you run (by left shifting) a lot in video games it will go stuck someday

Great tips Kevin. Still setting up my new A51 but wonder how you set up an audio alert when there's a new voicemail message waiting? Recall my old Samsung s3 had this feature and it was very handy since there's no need to pick up the phone and visually check if a message is waiting--the audio alert would cycle about every minute until silenced.

I've watched my far share of reviews. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH....You do an excellent job of explaining everything. It's nice to be able to use any phone but pricey phones to, because isn't that why we buy the more expensive phones in the first place.. lol

@@artthrills6124 I love this phone, the battery life is amazing, and the display is huge. I can get more done faster because of the quick transitions between apps, and a handy little feature is that the screen brightens or darkens based on the brightness of your environment.
I like the hidden navigation buttons thing, it makes the phone look more immersive for me.

My A51 is sweet, I made animations shorter and disabled Bixby as much as possible, disabled or removed apps and features I didn't want, and now it's running awesome. It's not laggy or unresponsive at all, the thumbprint works good for me but not facial recognition but I might try redoing it.

Does the phone have a screen recorder?
I got mine 2months ago and I noticed 2 problems. First my Gmail notifications don't show up and 2nd subtitles on videos don't show up in full screen mode !!! Pls can any1 give me solutions?!

actually, my phone (xiaomi redmi note 4) has a dual apps setting which you can pretty much have "duplicates" for apps. i use it for snapchat, because i have two accounts and i don't want to have to log out every time i want to switch to one of them. it's really helpful and im glad to see that samsung has something similar

Well the a20 has a 4000 mah battery which is the same size as the note 9 battery

It last a day and half to 2 days from my experience with it which is pretty good
A51 has a 4500 mAh battery and under average usage with gaming, or music in the background it can last a full day

It's in the edge panel to my understanding. I've never used it before so I might be wrong. It's also in the game function if you want to record games.
There is no screen recorder as installed but you can install it by yourself

Download screen recorder no ads. You will find it in play store. It is really handy. The option to record screen will be available in the notification panel. And the videos u record will be available in gallery.

You do a nice review Kevin, but I've never seen you mention assistant menu which is probably more useful than all the other things you're pointing out. And as far as the speaker on the a A51 in particular, they are really not very good although an improvement over the A50 phone. Try some phones from Motorola with headphones or just the speaker, particularly the Moto one zoom even the G6 next to the A51 it blows it away through headphones or from the devices speaker!

looks like you have the 4 gig A51 from just watching your tips and tricks video at 6:32 in the video I can see its the 128 gig storage with 4 gigs of ram.this phone would be so much better with 6 gig like the one I paid for but did not get ,,I really hope B&H will ship me the 6 gig phone I paid for,, did you get your phone from B&H ,,ebay or amazon. Got one of these from work recently to replace an ageing windows phone, some helpful info.
I did have to google how to answer calls. I’m a bloke so wasn’t going to read the manual now was I.
As it’s for use at work I ’ve got it set to show the 6 apps that I will use all the time.
It’s basically used to replace the onsite walkie talkie when Covid hit and the office bailed to work at home.
Much prefer my personal iPhone, Ios is so much easier to use in my opinion.

Should I get the Samsung Galaxy A51 or the Motorola G8 Plus? Considering the most important things for me are battery life, camera and storage. The galaxy is about 80 euros more for me, is it worth it?
