Hey Guys and Ladies this is a video you will want to share, it will help everyone you know that uses A/C! and yes this works for home A/C condensers as well, We picked this tip up From another RUclips Channel Called Mr. Know It All and it looks like he knows a lot about A/C Units LOL...Quote of the Day *It isn't what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.*
Does this work on newer cars like 2020 Lexus? Or just older cars?
Just ordered enough to do our van and home AC🇺🇸
it works on all a/c even on home systems
good deal pecker you will love the results
That handy-dandy trick went well although there is one additional thing that I would do and that is to place
some ridged corrugated plastic down in between the condenser and radiator IF there is a most adequate
amount of spacing between the two of them. 1.) Sufficient spacing so that when flushing the condenser core,
water and the gunk shall be able to clear everything out. 2.) By using this ridged corrugated plastic sheet, you
are trying NOT to drive the crud clear into the radiator that can make things worse with the radiator's job to
cool the engine down. I must say though with this video, tis a job well done!!
Cleaning the condenser is a very good thing. It goes a long way in getting the most out of your AC system, but...
Check it the next day, when the condenser has dried off properly, to see the real results of your cleaning.
Running it with the condenser wet will not give proper/traffic jam in summer readings.
Thanks for the tips! We appreciate the view and input my friend, have a great week. mad Mike & team
Well We checked it again and it is just as cold as the video shares...hope this helps!
Good to do radiator as well?
Thanks for the video as I cleaned my vehicle and the AC definitely is colder now. Sometimes it is the simple things that are overlooked. Cheers.
Very true! Glad we could help! Thank you so much for the view and comment, hope you have a great weekend my friend. mad Mike & team
Well that's a trip. Most expansion valves are set to cycle between 40&44 degrees fahrenheit. The cars from the sixties used to get really cold with the record going to a 66 Dodge car that put twenty three degrees out the vents and that's at idle and sitting in the service bay with the hood open and having a shop fan blow into the condenser at a service station that I worked at back in the late seventies to early eighties. Another example was a Mack truck that I drove in the early 2000's with the expansion valve hanging up causing the condensation on the evaporator to freeze up. I went and bought a replacement valve at the Mack dealership for $15 and fixed that.
On HVAC repair videos I watch, usually one of the main culprits of an improperly operating HVAC system would be dirty condenser and evaporator coils and either infrequent air filter changes or no filter such as in some rental properties for the poor classes of people. Some condenser coils are so dirty that hvac techs usually refer to them as having fur coats.
Thank you for watching and sharing, hope you have a great day. mad Mike & team
Thank you for another SWEEEEEEET TIP! I’ll use it today!
Absolutely!! Our pleasure to share my friend. Thank you for the view and comment, hope you have a great week. mad Mike & team

Great video brother. Any idea why the AC starts blowing warm to hot air once I come to a stop or even when the car idles??
You may want to check your a/c fan to be sure it's operating, if not, you need to use this amzn.to/4efhjXq Hope this helps Roger. Thanks for watching and asking, have a great week. mad Mike & team
Was the temperature reading Celsius? Is the cleaning of the condenser all you did to drop from 70s down that low to in the 20s coming from the vents?
I watched the video a couple times with my phones magnifier and the thermometer shows °F. I’ve got to do this to a Volvo semi truck- 2 cans probably is just a start 🤣
ok its simple, we dont use Celsius in the USA Canada does we dont...we checked the system before cleaning it was at 74 degrees we did the cleaning and it dropped to the temps you seen on the video in real time...thanks Mad Mike
@@SweetProjectCarsi
Is this in conjunction with cleaning up the drain line from underneath. Or am I now doing both.? I tried what I could to get the brush or tube from the can into the drain line of a 1998 Deville. And just couldn’t get to the drain any better than what it was doing all ready. Showed a mechanic the video who was interested in trying it. But couldn’t get the brush to bend into the tube.( we used what came with the kit. Kool-it evap cleaner. It’s a really small brush on a very flexible metal flexible spring.
Anyway I do enjoy both of your channels. But I don’t move or bend that well anymore. I should invest in a truck lift. Jacks and stands are just not cutting it anymore. Thanks.
Do one of these processes and if it doesn't take care of the problem, then do another. This tool amzn.to/3OmSA6R works great cleaning those tubes. Thanks for watching and asking, we truly appreciate it, hope you have a great week my friend. mad Mike
I really appreciate you getting back to me. Nobody likes warm air in their Cadillac. The only tip that I can share with you is that tire spray that comes in the can and foams up. That your just suppose to let sit. No touch. Works really well for the engine compartment. Spray it let it sit for a few hours and wipe it up with a rag. No water. Works really well hardly no work at all.
Great tip do you know what can cause the ac to blow hot air when idle and then gets cold again when you start to drive again please let me know
Just like home a/c systems, the condensers have large fans to pull air through them, a vehicle is very similar to this. Your a/c condenser on your vehicle needs air going through it. You may want to check the electric fan to make sure that it's running when the vehicle isn't moving, that's usually the cause of a/c problems for vehicles at a standstill. Hope this helps Ivan. Thank you for watching and asking, have a great week my friend. mad Mike & team
@@SweetProjectCars hi good afternoon in my vehicle it has a fanclutch it's a 2008 ford expedition king ranch what you think it can be thank you

Sweet project cars. Thank you so so much for these tips. Im definitely going give this a try as well as your previous videos regarding the hvac. I tried the HVAC once but i dont think i did it right. Will the jet of water bend the fins of the radiator if I get too close During the rinse? Or do I not need to worry about that?

Every week when I wash my car I was hose out the radiators so they don’t plug up with bugs etc. When hosing out the radiators be careful and don’t use a lot of water pressure so you don’t bend the fens on the radiators.

So what’s the lowest temperature it went to you cut the video off. The only thing I would be concerned about with it being too cold, as condensation building up and then freezing like ice.

What is the purpose of cleaning the coils with 99% alcohol first? Wouldn't that evaporate pretty fast since the concentration is so high?
we try everything just like Einstein did if it works awesome if not we try something else...nothing really cleans like old 99 that was our thought process and it panned out perfectly.

with the air blowing this cold we dont need to do anything else everything sles is operating perfectly and yes it is dripping water on to the pavement like a mother...and it has to do with the fact it is 98 degrees here. thanks
