A small aspect of Taurox’s plan to remain a gladiator I don’t think he considered: The BlueSong are actually learning. He’s killing their best leaders and war beasts, but then the empire takes the weaknesses they saw and figures out how to overcome it. New soldiers trained better, new beasts bred to be hardier, stronger. Taurox is sharpening the blade of the empire… if the empire is putting him to good use.
No but honestly ur character art and acting is incredible and the lore is so good u inspire me so much and watching ur workflow helped me so much making my first animation short for school
Anyone else come back to this video after his lore videos about the blue song following “Rise of the Decayed”? Much as Taurox hates Ornithicera, he might be one of the only ones of the blue song that could take him in a fight. If Ornithicera was able to fight and win against multiple baryonyx after surviving a shipwreck, then he could reasonably take on Taurox. Idk that he’d win, but it might be an actual equal match. Also, given Ornithiceras current zombified state, I cannot wait to see what happens next in this universe, and I am so excited to see how Taurox reacts to finding out the captain who killed the Bull is possessed by evil Eldritch gods and is currently their slave. You are truly a wonderful and incredibly gifted storyteller David and I cant wait to see where you take this series

The world building is amazing. And love your animation style.
Only problem with creating Lore is what’s so great about it, you create and expand much faster than the story ever could
I love how for this series you thought of every little detail to make the world of Sauria more fleshed out. Also, I think it would be cool if you collaborated with the guy who made the beasts of the mesazoic toyline to make amazing action figures for Sauria. The Old Buck got a figure, so why not collaborate with him to make Sauria Action Figures. I'm excited to see more from you.
Yess!! I’m so excited for this lore, I’ve been waiting for someone to go to town with explaining their super cool lore. I’m here for this let’s goo!! 💜💜 Keep up to amazing work!
Imagine if David Silva made some “Cyberzoic” figures based on the creatures in this fantasy world.
Or even better a Sauria toy line based off classic retro Kenner and Mattel style action figures such as He-Man with spring-loaded features and lights and sounds.
My friend this is a deam series I waited for almotst half a century to see happening !!!
Congratulations !!! You are a LEGEND !!!
I can not wait to see the rest of the tribes. This series is so fecking cool. I sort of imagine this as a show in Autodale, just with the Blue Song being the heroes masked collective taming a savage world seems like the kind of propaganda they'd make. Tho probably a tad more violent then Autodale would allow for its populous XP
This is so cool! I love this! As a budding writer and D&D Dungeon Master this is perfect and inspiring. I am super excited to see whatever and whenever more content comes out.
Your an epic artist and amazing lore writer.
Just stumbled upon this channel and I’m so invested in this story. I’m a huge fan of dinosaurs and a good story and this has both! 10/10 need more please!
i love world Building and it’s cool to learn more of SAURIA
This is definitely a new kind of video, but a very cool one. As someone who also loves lore and tend to go overboard with my own lore and stories, this is a delight to watch and learn. I'm excited to see the rest of the world of Sauria unfold. Keep up the good work!
Please keep getting carried away with the world building, it’s fascinating and so well done! I was curious how the lighting mechanic of his weapon works, will that be revealed later on? Thank you for all your hard work!
Your videos always inspire me, honestly this series is going to be amazing. Already making OCs in my head in this wonderful world youve created, thank you;.
I feel as if this conflict resembles a gaul vs Roman war, with the Romans being the blue song & the gaul being the kin tusk.
“Barbarian” originally referred to anyone not in a major civilization (i.e. Rome) so I could see some parallels.
Can’t wait for the blue song caesar to come around, gonna be awesome seeing him use superior tactics to destroy an opponent which is much more powerful in direct combat.
There is literally no way the blue song can have made an empire if they aren’t military geniuses, considering their weak bodies.
Sauria is such a fascinating world with it's brutally and the factors that lie within it. I love the world you have created and look forward to seeing more of it.
This is literally Warhammer 40k but with dinosaurs - I LOVE IT!!
I love all this creativity in your worldbuilding!
YAY MORE SAURIA
There’s something so riveting about a clan of violent bandits being seen as heroes as they turn on the imperial warlords.
We want the Autodale series back!
we need more of Sauria. Your worldbuilding, lore and everything else is just amazing.
I am a simple man, I see a dead Sound video I click
I am happy you have fun creating this series. I wish you luck.
Yes
I’m very interested to see how this series is going to progress and grow. Keep it up man
2:38. How big is the desert compared to the Sahara? For that matter, how big is the continent of Sauria itself?
HOW DID I NOT COME ACROSS THIS SOONER AFTER I WATCHED THE FIRST EP. LOREEEEEEEEEE!!! LET'S GOOOOO!!!
we need some lore about the blue songs
OH MY GOSH THIS IS ACTUALLY SO AMAZING I LOVE IT
Dude watching you has turned me into a dinosaur nerd
‘Twas the goal all along
I love seeing more of the process behind your projects!
I’m going to ask, are there any sauria mythical creatures? Like a dragon or a manticore but made out of prehistoric animals
I hope so
@@DYXAnims like a smilodon manticore
Or a dragon with a T rex head and a ankylosaurus body with pterosaur wings
@@seanessdracosaurus2793I think Giant insects and cephalopods also coexist in Sauria. Think of Primal, Ark, and Skull Island all merged into one giant ecosystem.
@@rickyrackey7930 yea I can see that
I love this Lore Compendium! It definitely adds more exposition and background to the amazing short film, “Blood For Blood”.👌
I am actually curious about females in desert saurians species is there a difference? What do they do in the culture?
Are there even females?
@@TheWolfQueentm Well, uneless they are hermaphrodites, then they have female members.
Now, the differences probably depend on various factors.
( 11:22 ) what does wild have to do with the snow area? there is obviously a warlike, barbarian culture in the sands, a witchcraft cult culture in the swamps. Does that mean there is a wild-like culture in the snow?
( 11:22 ) i had another thought, what if they were episode plans. Like number one is about the desert saurians, number two is about the arctic saurians, and number three is about the swamp guys
This is awesome, amazingly well written. Looking forward for whats next
And another monthly hiatus😔
Each video you make is a masterpiece, thank you Dead Sound
ONG OMG OMG
This is fantastic! It's great inspiration for role playing games in dinosaur settings. I can't wait to see more.
:0
Man the worlds this man creates are amazing. Finally getting around to watching these making of videos and they are as good as ever.
The lore and creativity of this series is so amazing and mixed with such beautiful art makes this my most anticipated series in a good while keep doing an amazing job my man
Would honestly love to see even more of this, I love this form of world building!
I can imagine one of two things happening with this. One, a sprawling fanfiction all based in the land of Sauria. Or two, a book series approved or written by you that I'd buy for my kindle in a heartbeat. I'm loving this world. Please, keep going!
The species, the various cultures, the worldbuild, the details, everything you have created and will show I hope it has a future beyond 3 episodes. This setting is potentially perfect for telling numerous stories. I can't wait to see its development
Honestly 3 short films is not enough for this amazing story!
Not gonna lie
Everybody would love to play this if it ever comes out in tabletop roleplay format.
Good job on the world of Sauria!
Considering I watched blood for blood five times now I'm happy to see you are serious about this series. I can't wait to watch it all
