This was a wonderful performance! We loved it! David Payne is very believable as C.S. Lewis or at least how I imagined Lewis being. 😀

I chose to do my book/person report on C.S. Lewis in middle school back in the 1980's, having been a huge fan of his work from early childhood. Lewis' works carried me through many difficult times, as I got lost in those worlds to escape my painful and lonely reality. Payne brings him to life so eloquently. This was a treat, thank you..

" an evening with C.S.Lewis"., Transported to another era, I was a younger girl, unaware of such literary talent., I read with some disinterest the "Screwtape Letters" long ago, now in my new age of 80, come to appreciate this man's Journey. And, the very Genius of this man's interpratation of a life lived against and then For one Sold out to Christ. My sincerest Thanks for the posting of this very excellent Stage Play. A VERY LOVELY MAN, A NEEDED TELLING, SO VERY VERY WELL PRESENTED.
