I miss going to Asheville as a kid, my grandfather used to own a house up there in the mountains and my mom went to high school there. The first time I saw snow was up in Asheville so I guess u could say I have some fond memories of the place.
Mountain biking is huge. Plenty of trails in Asheville as well as quick driving distance from Asheville. Pisgah, DuPont, Black Mountain, Bent Creek, Kolo, Bailey Mountain
Great video footage, thanks for posting this video! My wife and I have been there quite a few years ago and we visited the Biltmore Estate. We enjoyed our visit!
Omg it was so nice watching this video. I was born in Asheville and moved North to Connecticut when I was about 10 years old. Definitely want to go back and visit my hometown ♥️

I believe you that the whitewater SUP is a lot harder than it looks although it already looked pretty sketchy going over some of those rapids. Did you ever go in in river?
@@ethanmoore6058 I grew up in Fairview when it was mostly farmland. It was beautiful back then but it's hardly recognizable today with all the housing developments and "mcmansions" that have been built. Cane Creek road is a prime example...
That's awesome. I am going to have to visit there now. You should come to Delaware and check out some places. If you do please let me know! I'd love to hang out with you. There's a lot of places in West Virginia that you would enjoy I think. Look up Lindy Point, black water falls, Seneca Rocks.. basically that whole are of the state is a beautiful site-seeing adventure. Great videos. I watch them all the time in preparation for the purchase of my Mavic.
Expert Vagabond Yes that too. There's also smoke hole caverns and Seneca hold caverns in that area. Very beautiful. WV is packed with awesome places like that.
I'm from Alabama and have been living in Florida a couple of years. My husband wants to move to Ashville NC and I am so scared. I'm scared I'll have a hard time finding a job other than waiting tables.I have no high shool diploma or college experience and no GED but in Florida and Alabama I can find good jobs other than waiting tables.I hope it will be the same here but it just looks like a small town with not many options for a drop out. Also I have no family in NC so I am worried of feeling empty and alone. I hope I will be happy in NC.
I am Jack's Smirking RUclips Account Around here 2/1 and 2/2 start at around $900-$1,200 a month rentals. Homes for sale are expensive too. I'd avoid Saraland as well because it's a bit trashy. Mobile and Birmingham are more clean and safe. Satsuma is safe and clean.Just very small and very little to do. The very very quiet country life is in Chunchula Al but very little to do there as well.People normally buy bigger pieces of land there to escape the city life and be to themselves. Dauphin Island and Gulf Shores are very beautiful places with beautiful beaches. Those are places where you can find either expensive places to live or cheap places or right in between. It's a lot different in those two places.Alot more clean and the people are more respectful. I think the beach life just makes people happier in general and a lot of the community are older more respectful people. Hope that helps😊
I love Asheville and had been searching for a downtown condo there for a year and a half. After visiting the city during the pandemic months, decided to buy in FLA instead. Asheville is amazing but the true colors shined through with covid, the cities politics are a joke and a gamechanger.
There’s is a lot of stuff to do there is a lot of fun restaurants and a lot of places just to enjoy the views and many waterfalls to hike to and lakes and and art
There's a lot to do in town if you have money... The surrounding areas here are beautiful but being bought up by rich outsiders. I've lived here my whole life (63 years) and it's getting worse ... Folks on a fixed income are finding it harder to get by.

Very expensive! We moving out! Rent prices have skyrocketed. It a tourist trap for the rich now.
Yep. But the surrounding counties are still pretty cheap
Welcome to Buncombe county!!!
I’ll be visiting Asheville the end of the month ..
The music is bad ass! well done with the video.
I met a guy from asheville but didn't take me seriously and i missed him😔i missed him so bad i have to watch videos about his place.
So cool to see Asheville getting some love!! Great Video 👍
Asheville is being "loved" to death...
I worked at the market place when you were there!!

What about going in late December? Will it be too cold to enjoy the hikes. I’m from Florida haha
Asheville is lovely! Great food, drink, culture and people :)
And full of gay liberals
Amazing vlog. Nice work. Thanks for sharing.

John Allen if you come to Asheville I recommend hiking to a waterfall there all so beautiful
The hiking seems nice but how bad are the bugs there..?
Flowing with Fire not to bad honestly, except evening mosquitoes.....

not bad, as long as you have spray
Flowing with Fire the only bad thing really is the mosquito that starts coming ou around 4
You guys obviously haven't experienced our "no see ums"... Horrible little boogers that pester you worse than skeeters!
How’s that leaf tasted? 😁
Is Ashville diverse?
Great video! Are there any hiking trails in this area that you recommend? Just subbed!
2:54 very nice! Hey man, you should make 10 min long videos please
True.
Wish we could have seen more of the city !
I am moving here at the end of this month
Michael Norris you should just walk around downtown to get a feel of the place. Super fun to just walk into shops and look at things/people.
or go fishing

no

The river doesn’t flow through town.
No it really doesn’t. Downtown is on a hill and water doesn’t flow uphill.
If you’re a tourist, get out while you can 😭, I can’t wait, three years until I can escape
