Comment related to performance and gear of lower-placing riders like Bini: I think most of these riders are pretty much self-funded/self-outfitted, and also are seemingly outfitting and competing with the attitude they aren't contending for medals. Bini was taking it fairly easy into the corners compared to the top guys. Makes sense considering that he's an actual contender for the a RR--would be senseless to smoke the TT and crash out. Still amazing to me that these guys placing at the tail of the OTT are averaging 30+mph despite seemingly "taking it easy", obviously they aren't completely parading. But I think they're holding back a little, both in terms of effort and investment in gear.
Are we seeing the age-old rivalry hitting cycling now? Adidas vs Nike? Ok, probably not made by them since they can just outsource like the dozen or so other companies do but still would be cool to see proper branding in the pro peloton. It is sooo refreshing seeing how branding is done here and if companies like Nike and Adidas were to take a stab with their 3-stripes and swoosh it could open up the doors for branding rather than a jersey acting as a written list of sponsors.
The verge suit is really not that slow. And a zipper in the front or back doesn't say anything about the quality of a suit. Outside of this, very nice overview of the tech 👌

I need to get this out my chest. What annoys me is the fucking director. We are watching a bike race but this guy is giving us buildings and shit. I get that it's France, they have many old historical buildings/monuments but this is a bike race, not sight seeing

Never consider riding a front disc outside of track unless you have the bike handling skill of Wout, which we both know you don't.
