Love your vids man! and love that you are here in SA! I teach my year 11 class, BASIC architecture - however, because I use Solidworks, we construct at a beginner level, unlike using industry standard REVIT! But love this video - because I am always discussing the importance of sketching and laying out their ideas before they hit the computer, they get scared, especially if they feel they are not good at drawing - so this video is GREAT to show them its just about mapping their ideas out! Thank you!
Good question! Denzel is right. It depends where your building is located. In the northern hemisphere, the sun travels from West to East (on the Southern Side), whereas in the southern hemisphere, the sun travels from East to West (on the Northern Side). For me in the Southern hemisphere, I would design spaces requiring more sunlight to be on the North side. You can always look up the sun path for your exact location in google.
I would but I don't really use much branded stuff myself to be honest. If you want quality, I recommend Staedtler, Artline, Copic, Sharpie and Rotring to name a few.
Should u work with ur interior spaces first and then see how those spaces would make ur outer shape structure of the building, or the other way around?
I would personally consider the interior (functionality) of the spaces first before the exterior (form). These are just other wordings of interior and exterior. You may be familiar with form follows function, or form before function. People have different takes. I think function, the usability and operation of a space, is more important than it's sculpture or aesthetics.
This really helps while starting design because you don't just stuck on room layout and shape of the rooms too....nice video mate 👏👏
I'm glad you found it useful! Thank you Abeselom! :)

Thank you , i wonder about the sun , where should we put the rooms (or areas) which need more sunlight ? North or south ?
Depends where your building.
