Toto presents "With A Little Help From My Friends".
The performance captures one special night on November 21, 2020 when Steve Lukather, Joseph Williams and David Paich appeared with the new line-up of TOTO for a global event originating from Los Angeles, CA. Joining Lukather, Williams and Paich for this next chapter in their indelible history are new band members bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note / Snarky Puppy), and keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck). Keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note) and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) segued over continuing their tenure in the ensemble. This marks the fifteenth incarnation of the TOTO line-up in consideration of band members or sidemen who joined or exited.

When I heard this lineup I was so shocked and pumped. Love the old crew, love the new crew. Toto will always be Toto (One of the best bands to have ever lived on planet earth!).
Love the new line up but I do feel for Luke and David that the had to pay for vacations for everyone not in the band! I believe they’ll get all the stress out and have the joy of playing again when they tour

Great line up, cool players. Seems they all put a new swing and soul into the licks. Hoping they will put in some deep cuts like "21st Century Blues", "Chinatown", "Fearful Heart", "King of the World" plus their solo stuffs. Really looking forward seeing the guys live!

Unfortunately Bobby Kimball has dementia and is not doing well, he is not able to perform anymore. David Paich has also had health issues and decided to retired. Steve Porcaro was just burned out of the road and decided to retire permanently.

@@kebumen1000 Bobby K. was pissed off coz they autotuned him all the time, so he said "fu*k this" and left the band. Steve Procare sued Lukather for illegal using the name 'Toto' and they aren't friends anymore. Paich is too lazy to perform so he will appear only from time to time to help getting more money from tickets.

Sorry, this is not Toto anymore. For me it's a Toto Cover Band with the original guitarist.
Yeah it kind of is, but understanding a little about the bullshit that Steve has gone through i can forgive him for using the name and the songs.
He even said himself that its not Toto if he doesn’t look over and see Paich and a Porcaro on stage. Unfortunately more people will buy tickets/book “Toto” instead of “Steve & Joe”, which sucks but they are trying to make money back after legally battling over the name.
So im going to support Steve, Joe and Paich (even though he’s retired he’s supporting this) on this one.
But yeah i agree, its really not “Toto” anymore i suppose. The last 10 years or so with the Luke, Paich, Joseph and Steve P felt like a nice victory lap and conclusion to the band.
