Great video.
They look delicious, congrat , you are great 😍
Good work on that recipe .
Looking forward to more
Thank you for this. I love fried eggplant, and am going to have to try the cornmeal breading, rather than bread crumbs. Sounds so good that way. Was I hearing a smoke alarm battery replacement alert? I watched another RUclips video with the same alert, but it was louder, leading me to think it was in my house. lol
2 things. What does salting the eggplant do and is that a forged in fire knife?
I just watched a RUclips video about fried eggplant. All I gotta say is quit apologizing.. did you do your best if the answer is yes you had no reason to apologize. Part of you doing RUclips videos and us watching you grow into a better RUclips video producer is just how this works. The other thing don’t pay attention to anybody that’s gonna throw you.. I know people say if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all, we’ll hear something easier. If what they say don’t sound nice don’t listen lol.👍
Thanks for sharing ❤
Yummy 😊 just cooked some❤
What does eggplant taste like I never tried it before this looks delicious 🙂❤️
It’s really good and healthy it has its own taste
@@darryllouis6672 thank you very much sorry I just seen your reply 🙂have a blessed night you & your family
It is my favorite vegetable & it’s delicious!
@Ana Eggplant and zucchini are good, and usually really cheap.
You might not like them though, my wife refuses to eat either so I don't get to make it often.
@@tedkaczynskiamericanhero3916 I love zucchini
Awesome video
You Rock!!! Thank you!
Are they similar to fried green tomatoes? If so ,which taste better?
Fried green tomatoes are the best but green tomatoes are hard to find so eggplant is a close second 😂.
❤❤😊thank you Darryl
Thank you
I use a potato pealed
What do they actually taste like?
Black ppl and that damn fire alarm beep 😂😂
Dang, I forgot to wash my eggplant, what should I do?
I'm doing this right now! #MeatlessMonday #TNOG
I see you know how to edit
Not 10 minutes on each side, please. Loved your video / recipe / demo, but 10 minutes is way to long; it's only 3 minutes for a pork chop.
As you continue with your RUclips, please make sure that your camera captures all of your steps. I could not see you cutting the eggplant.
You removed the skin!!!! Bro, eggplants may be healty but not only are you frying it but you are removing the healthiest part which is the skin, full of fiber and vitamins. Not much "healthy" left after that
Why did u come here
@@rachealrae2035 your question is so stupid that I can't even begin to think of an answer for the simple reason that my brain cannot compute this premium quality of idioticy. I would have to die and be reincarnated into what would be the sum of the 3 stooges, the two guys from dumb and dumber, and chich and Chong in one person!!!! You'll note that I used characters that only an older person would recognize because with a username like rachelrae2035 it says alot about you. Like you're an old women who's probably in her forties and just discovered the world of social media because the only thing she knows are the dumb brainless programs for those stay at home moms who are looking for the next dumb fad to follow to give them a reason to live. Welcome to the ugly world of social media Karen. Have a great day!!! 😘😘😘
You’re correct nutritionally concerning the skin. However, with vegetables like that, and Zucchini, the breading doesn’t adhere to the skin as it does to the meat. Hence some people peel.
@@philanderphillips2309 Thank you for bringing this to my attention. But here is where your point is rendered invalid. When making this dish, one does not take the whole eggplant, dip it in bread crumbs and then fry it. No, the eggplant is SLICED into slices about 1/4" thick which reveals the inside of the eggplant or in other words the "sticky part" to which the bread crumbs can stick. Only a very thin part all around each slice will have skin and when I do the math. If a 1/4" slice with a diameter of 3" gives 16.49 square inches. That means the area with the skin equals to 2.35 square inches and is the equivalent to 14.25% of the total area of that slice. That means that over 85% of that slice will be covered in bread crumbs. I do not see the reason nor the need to remove the skin so that you can have just a little more bread crumbs stick to your slice and spoil something that is already perfect for consumption.
