- If I could have recorded the entire fight, then you would have seen that every Brave Blade resulted in a critical hit but I think this gets the point across even if most of the damage was done through Theurgy.
At the very least Strega now have interesting fights and decent gimmicks although I do prefer their November fight since they can shift with each other.

Which fits so well with ryoji as a character and how he wanted to offer Makoto and everyone a peaceful death and didn’t want them to strain themselves to fight a battle they can’t win, and we know ryoji truly disliked being a part of Nyx and feels partly responsible for something outside of his control. Ryoji is the true embodiment of Thanatos, he wanted to offer everyone a humane death.

Proof that Thanatos is just as powerful if not dangerous as his purpose to Persona 3's narrative:
P3 Movie 4 perfectly showcased how truly terrifying he is in his original form, SEES had no chance of beating him at all.
Movie Ryoji is a menace compared to Game Ryoji.
Messiah is more powerful. At 99 he is resistant to all elements reflects light AND dark and null to all physical attacks

I wish Thanatos had a genuinely good unique attack, Door of Hades was complete trash so I don't miss it here, but I would like to see a unique and totally devastating physical attack that represents his full strength, perhaps a Theurgy since they cut half of the Fusion Spells anyway.
He's such a Badass in the cutscenes and in the design, but in-game it's easy to find any Persona better than him.
Don't forget Thanatos is also a badass in the movies, bro was bitch slapping Nyx left and right
Totally agree. I also wish they did give him a fusion spell, this was the perfect chance.

@@Cthululululu With Messiah it would be sick, the savior and the emissary of death together, but a "remake" of the rooftop scene would also be sick af, perhaps similar to the movie, Orpheus launches some fireballs and Thanatos gives the final blow.

Using Theurgy to finish the boss fight was a stylish move
A depressed emo boy, a child, a literal dog, and an actual robot defeat Jesus and his little Nerd
It was only Jin who got beaten by the S.E.E.S. B-Team. Takaya got beaten by Yukari, Junpei and Akihiko.

Is there something missing in my playthrough?? I'm just 2 full moons away from the final boss battle and i still don't have Thanatos. I have played p3p too but never had him there. Is this a dlc or something?
Thantos only requires the maxed out death arcana and to be level 78 (73 if you have the Sun Arcana like I did) to be fused.
