Thanks so much, James. I have been looking for so long for a tool like that! I wish, the big corporations would add mega useful features like this instead of weird avatars, that no one would ever use....
You've saved my Teams sharing. Thanks! ❤
Thank you! This is totally awesome and clever. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing James, super handy tool.
Very informative and helpful video, as I'm also application developer and lot of time to share screen with other team mates and client.
Incredibly useful with screens sporting a higher-than-last-century resolution! I wonder why existing video calls don't support that out of the box.
Amazing, this has saved me such a head ache. Thank you so much!
You made my day.. you are wonderful.. this is super helpful.
This. This is what I've needed. Works great when combined with Fancy Zones!
Thanks good workaround! Zoom already offers a 'Portion to share' feature for screen sharing, MS Teams and the others need to introduce this soon as more and more ultrawide screens are adopted.
This is amazing, going to download this region to share now.
Gosh dang, this video answered a lot of questions - you're obviously a long suffering presenter like me 😆. I was just about to go out and buy an ultra-wide, but you saved me again: the presenter mode in PowerPoint is indeed still a problem and somewhat of a deal-breaker. Looks like I'll stick with separate monitors until these quirks are resolved. Either way, this is the best video on all of RUclips for this subject 👍
Great software! I had this problem for a long time. Thanks for introducing!!!
Thanks a lot, it saves me a ton of time configuring the screen, or the need to keep notebook open at the desk only for sharing screens
Dude literally the most helpful video on the internet lol. Thank you so friggen much.
Thanks this is exactly what I was looking for.
thanks, James for this awesome tool!
One way to fix the powerpoint issue, is to save it to be presented in window mode. Then when opening it, you can fit it to the region you are sharing.
Its not bulletproof way to work, but at least it gets the job done.
Thx for this video. Was a very nice addon to the powertoys fancy zones
Thats exactly what I was searching for! Tranks for the video!👍🏽
Glad to hear it!
Saved my *behind* in a bunch of presentations! Thanks a bunch
Glad it helped!
Awesome tool and video, it helped me a lot! Cheers
Great to hear!
Not all heroes wear capes. Thanks a lot for sharing the information it was exactly what I was looking for.
Great !!! Thank you.
thank you this is very helpful
thank you for sharing
Thanks!! This video save me =)
Wonderful, thanks
Really Appreciate
Any app for Mac???
There is something similar; it’s a small app called Virtual Display Pro that I use daily for screen sharing.
SAVED MY LIFE - TKS TKS
Thank you James, this goes a long way to doing what I have been trying to do. I am using the Dell Ultrasharp 49", obviously I don't want to share the whole screen, but sharing an application in GoTo Training doesn't show any pop-up windows, the RtoS application will really help.
I feel your pain! I feel like i love and hate my ultrawide!
I really love the UW, and I am genuinely more productive than having several monitors, I usually have three to four splits and do get things done quicker, I would definitely recommend it. And now, thanks to coming across your video, and this open source application, it will really help when I am running my training courses, I will be able to share exactly what I need to.
Perfect Perfect Perfect !!!!
Great video. Anyone know a solution for macOS?
I'm using Virtual Display Pro app for macOS, highly recommend!
omg. this is exactly what im looking for. however i wonder if I can make it always share that region in that particular Virtual desktop? meaning if i switch virtual desktop2 n it continue to share the virtual desktop 1 at that particular region?
Wow! Thank you so much for making this video. I have an ultra-wide, too, and it really bothers me when I have to keep switching between windows. Plus, I couldn't use Zoomit to draw on screen/discuss ideas. This software is beneficial.
Very good! It helped me a lot. Do you know if there is something similar for Linux?
Awesome, is it supported also by MAC?
Anything for linux?
You are my hero
🤩🤩🤩
Is there a short and to the point version of this tutorial - way too much waffle
