Man these are hard to find in Canada. I did finally find one at a Briggs and Stratton dealer. It is the same machine except it is a Briggs and Stratton model with the 250cc engine. I can’t wait to try it out. I bought it because of your videos. Thanks for sharing.
This is by far the best , most simple , thorough, down right and to the point Review. I fired mine up today and your on point Sir ! very nice blower and easy to use thanks👍🏽
Hey thanks for watching I try to make videos that are just straight to the point give as much information as I can appreciate the comment thanks and have a good day
I just bought a 1022EE 2 days ago from my local dealer for 599$ after my old Toro finally died. I love my Simplicity lawn tractors so i knew when i bought new one it would be a Simplicity.
It looks like the metal auger is hitting the rubber. I have a toro 180 now, looking at the ariens because I have a versa track model and it is great. Imy neighbor has the toro 21 with the same motor and its a beast. I am leaning toward this after your video.
I just bought one. Not built quite as tough as an Ariens or Toro, but I love the power chute, headlights and shredder. I think this is one of the only, or one of very few single stage has snowblowers that actually has lights. The battery powered ones usually do, but not single stage gas. I was pleasantly surprised that my new 1222 has LED lights. Thanks for the video!
My old H brand blower have problems clogged or hard to push forward when wet snow, many snow blower will easy clogged, this shredding design look good, we need cut the frozen snow first then auger can easy throwing snow, my next machine will buy this kind!
I love the single stage..first got hooked with my old honda 5hp h55?..it was a tank. I now have a toro 6.5hp 2 stroke. Used for 12 years ,minimum issues just rubber blade replacement. Toro had the best ,simplistic 2 paddle blade set up just like one in this video but without the ice choppers.."good idea".These do throw slushy snow without clogging as much as a 2 stage. Biggest drawback is surface Must be FLAT, these crawl on the augers paddles.. wavy dirt driveway not so great. Very nimble and portable. The tough stuff crusty at the end of your driveway will need to be loosened up first but it will throw it. Keep making them bigger!!!
@@addismultitasking3504 Not many true single stages have a remote deflector. The one on the Cub Cadet (MTD) is horrible and the one on the Honda used to be very stiff to operate as well, although someone told me they have improved it. My Toro Snowmaster has a killer joystick that controls chute rotation and deflector angle but although it is a single stage, it's a bit bigger. But it doesn't have any headlights. It's hard to find the perfect machine!
I don't know about snow throwers but newer mowers with those Briggs engines suck. The last two I have bought smoke every time I start them. So, when I bought my new snow thrower, I made sure no Briggs. It is an Ariens, and the engine is a 208cc LCT. Two years and so far, a great engine.
My nabor hade one like this when i plowed for him id also do sidewalks and stairs and i would take his simplicity every time over his bug 2500$ self propeled it was easy loading and worked awsome easy to start like u sead every time most the time i dident need that ramps id just have my bod grabe one side and we would throw it on by hand nb
Just picked up one of these at my local dealer for $649.00 I only have used it once so far and there was not that much snow when I used it. But so far I really like it. The features on this model are really nice I especially like the power chute control. Before I purchased this brand and model I was also looking at the Toro 821 QZE and the Honda HS720AS. It was a tough choice between the three of them. I finally decided on the Simplicity because it had a few features that the other two did not have. I was using a Honda HS520 that I have owned for about 20 yrs and it still runs and works well it has been a really good snow blower. I for sure got my moneys worth out of it. But I thought I would give the simplicity a try for the price point and features hope it treats me well like the Honda did.
I would of gotten the toro for sure! Honda’s are good but clog and simplicity is ok for home owners I wouldn’t go commercially with it because the shoot will break down And your threw!
1st Run - Slight Surging , Had to use Mechanic in a Bottle to Clean out the CARB : Unfortunately only Lasted 30 mins before SMOKING !!!! had to Rebuild 2nd time, with NEW PARTS !!! Piston , Block Rod , Crank , Rings .: ruclips.net/video/-1lndf-o_Mo/видео.html
Lately I've been trying Sunoco 95 octane synthetic fuel Menards is the only place I can find that.. it has no ethanol in it and it's stable for 24 months
@@addismultitasking3504 I do not have Menards here in Massachusetts near me and true fuel is very expensive. So, I do use high octane gas with stabil in it. But I was wondering what you use. Thanks for sharing.
@@addismultitasking3504 I have a 5 y/o B&S snow shredder which I do love for its clearing abilities, that said, I do wish it had a better muffler as it is quite loud, also it vibrates quite a bit at idle. On a different note, I applied a ceramic wax to the inside of the auger and discharge shoot as I've seen a video that shows it prevents clogging of the shoot, looking forward to seeing if it works once we have our first snow.
I have the cheaper brother version called Murray without the metal shredder and smaller engine. I was afraid that it may not have enough power initially. But I was wrong, it throw away snow over 25 feet +easily. Only the heavy wet slushy stuffs reduce the distance of throwing. But it gets the job done. It definitely beats the hell of manual shoveling the heavy wet slush. Absolutely amazing and no problem of this wondering uncontrollably when pushing it.
The simplicity has 50 CC's more power... It has a huge light so you can see what you're doing in the dark... And it has the shredder auger to break up chunky snow and ice.. I'm sure the Honda is going to run fantastic but it won't throw snow as far or clean the driveway as fast as the simplicity
My other one has rubber paddles and it will pull if it's tilted up a little. That will wear out paddles faster IMO and anything over 6” I struggled to push. The metal auger that I have doesn't pull whatsoever.
Headlights don’t matter on a snowblower lol there never great anyways. There’s an electric 2 stage snowblow that’s way better than this one that has 2 lights 😂

Right on!
This is the most equiped single stage snowblower I have seen yet . It has nice features , thank you sir for the video .

It's like a hybrid, with the teeth to break up ice!! Nice design on a single stage.
I love it!

Very cool, just wanted to see it at night time also.
Behind the Flywheel there is a STATOR COIL that Generates 12V for the Light and ELECTRIC CHUTE
the Plug on the Side is a Test Port at the Factory

95% of the time so much easier ,faster then digging out my toro 13hp" trigger assisted steering " beast!
I hope they have a version with remote deflector control as well. Some other brands/models have it and it is really valuable to have.
Yeah I know I wish they did

Thx for video!!!
Thanks for watching, I did several videos on this blower
I watched your video several times. You convinced me to get a 1222 e. Thanks for the great videos. Charlie
Simplicity is great still have my dads old 2stroke runs great stars within 2 pulls.
Thanks for watching have a good night
I have one and love it
Glad you like it thanks for watching
Thank you
You're welcome
The snow shredder looks like a nice feature!
It's the best snow blower I've ever owned I've probably owned six or seven of them
My boss at work used it and he bought one too
Out of all the blowers I have used this is still my favorite. thanks for watching

Does it handle wet heavy snow? That's my biggest gripe with single stage, I can't find a good one with heavy snow, throws it like 2ft lol
I did a couple of vids on wet snow with it, just search my channel for snowblower. It works great
Any problems with the carburator or belt issues?
No..no issues with anything

Looking for my first blower. Friend recommend Simplicity. Good review. Do you have any CONS.
I just posted a video today on the startup after it's sitting for 10 months it started on the first Pull.
I can't think of any cons

im posting another vid in deep wet chunky snow
This looks a lot like the snapper and briggs and stratton snowblowers. Same specs too. Are they the same snowblowers?
Yes they are all the same. Menard’s sold a Brute that’s the same as well.
The only bad thing about these single stage blowers is they like to wander because of the scooper. Other than that I would own one

How much does it weigh?
I can pick it up and put in the truck, so Id guess less than 100 pounds
I was looking for this but can't find it anywhere.
It's not sold at big box stores you will have to go to a dealer
I bought mine at Lowes just after Xmas and got a good deal. Its was $650, with free delivery. I have the Briggs and Stratton version.

They must’ve discontinued this model cuz I can’t find it

No, I suppose you could unhook them, but there is not on/off switch

That looks heavy for a small single stage snow thrower
It's made in the USA of course it's going to be heavier and built well ...
why cant any company came up with single stage light weight and have power wheels…sure toro has it but it’s the same size as two stage.
I have to hold this back when using, the big rubber paddle pulls it along
My other one has rubber paddles and it will pull if it's tilted up a little. That will wear out paddles faster IMO and anything over 6” I struggled to push. The metal auger that I have doesn't pull whatsoever.
as nice as that looks i still think toro has a better blower
Why not just hire a guy from Craigslist to blow your snow?
Headlights don’t matter on a snowblower lol there never great anyways. There’s an electric 2 stage snowblow that’s way better than this one that has 2 lights 😂
The light is actually quite good. It's fairly bright.
Nice I’ve been looking to upgrade. Can you buy these online?
The best
