Well there has to be, unless u think surrogates should do the whole thing for free… Go through all the pain, inconveniences, and hardships that go along with pregnancy (not to mention the aftermath of all the postpartum depression, bleeding, and all that)… If u wanna do all that for free, then go for it! lol. The genetic parents are lucky that the surrogate continued to care for the child otherwise it might have gone into the foster care system. Depending on which state, the surrogate was either paid or carried the child for altruistic reasons. She's professional and keeps in contact with the parents. There are families that cant have their own babies and the closest they can get is a surrogate. Thankfully there are women strong enough to carry the child for those families and thats amazing, they aren't doing it for money, they're doing it to help other families have babies. You should respect that and research about it before hating for no reason, get your head out of you ass and step into the real world.
It would be soo hard to give her up. I registered as an emergency mother years ago, then decided not to do it, because it'll be too hard to give the child back again. I'm more matured now, and I'm ready to do it.
You MAKE $ if you are a surrogate, you don't pay. If you want to USE a surrogate to carry your child, then you pay. & a small minority will be a surrogate free of charge.

Babies actually don't adapt very easily. This will cause trauma for the baby to be separated from their mother.

You're obviously not a parent. Babies do not adjust easily, idiot.
Even though she doesn’t have the same DNA as the surrogate mom, it’s her mom. The baby grew up in her, heard her voice throughout the pregnancy ect…
