Do you have a video for "Best Platinum" purchases?
I've been playing for ten years. To this day older players still tell new players to quit every mission asap. Don't stay because "the highest percentage chances you can get what you're looking for is in the first reward drop" but newer players miss out on B and C rotation rewards such as the Braton Vandel Blueprint. This isn't a phone game guys. Actually play it. And stop teaching newer players to "speedrun" and ignore important information. Yes the game is pay to win and your time is valuable but Jeez instant gratification isn't the title of this game specifically.
@@dwaynebrice1697 game is far from pay to win its pay to MR faster
@@HenneyOnDex you can pay for everything friend
@@dwaynebrice1697 doesn’t make it pay to win. Pay to win means paying gives you an advantage with weapons etc your not getting an advantage your paying to progress faster in warframe as your skipping the build time etc so again it’s not pay to win far from it
When you sold a weapon then realise it is required to build another weapon, that hurts.
Especially when rebuilding it requires Forma
When you sell ur Cenos
Boltor x2 for Boltace 😄
@@midigee the lesion
I sold the boltor, now I need it for a melee weapon 🤦🏾♂️
Not to mention the open worlds block your progress faster than going through the star chart just due to the daily standing limits
this game and daily limits my god
@@Pupsker Seriously. In a game where there's so much to do, you would think they would have outgrown the need to artificially prolong the game in so many ways. But you know, gotta get people to spend that plat 🙃.
Also, wanted to add, as a recently returned player, I've had your videos on an absurd amount while grinding through stuff, so thank you!
True but some like the zaw stick ball of death from Cetus you can get without sacrificial mods, before getting off earth-mars
@@Pupsker I think they did it so that people farming wouldn't get fed up on farming the same thing - Like in Fortuna debt bonds. This will make other Tenno to do something else and not get tired of farming the same thing the whole day
Honestly the daily limit isn’t as bad as people think, you can max out all open worlds in 2 weeks
Don't forget about the foundry skip time, you know when you can fast forward the time of a item and its really easy to accidentally fast forward
Never found that issue myself but others definitely have.
@@Pupsker well it happened to me so I got first hand experience sadly
@@Pupsker last all 50 starting platinum
@@Pupsker i think it's a console thing, but idk tho
@@Pupsker It's common for console players.
I completely avoided the Open Worlds because RUclipsrs always told me to. But to completely avoid them was a mistake for me. At least do the initial quests to get the k-drive and the recipe for the archwing launcher. Getting familiar with fishing, mining and bounties early is helpful as well because you occasionally need to do them for nightwave and I would highly suggest any new player to not sleep on NIghtwave.
I ignored night wave for so long but it does have some actually good stuff
ya nughtwave, and at least 1 set of the open world mods. then come back for the seasonal events. lol.
@@justsomedudeiguess1746ightwave has some excellent stuff you can buy like orokin reactors and catalysts it also gives nitain extract which is a requirement for some base and prime warframes
@@justsomedudeiguess1746 Nightwave is really good idk who told you it was bad, some seasons will have great items such as arcane energize
Mining, conservation and fishing are some of the most relaxing activity to do in open world if anyone want to take a break. Also faster way to farm standing than bounties
What is also very good to know is that you dont want to delete your story gained warframes. If you unlock the subsume ability you will need the non prime Warframe and the only way to get story based warframes back is by doing the cephalon simaris standing which is kind of a pain. Hope this helps someone !
Some people can’t hold that many frames. They have to get rid of some frames and having new and better frames like the prime frames are better
I just returned to the game and after I checked my profile I saw I've used and sold Oberon. Now he is much harder to get with the Railjack missions.
@@slendydie1267 i have 30 blueprints of each part for him lmao
I junked chroma bps because I had chroma prime. Now need to build him for mastery grind+subsume, and boy do I regret my actions.
@@awrebyawe I can feel your pain.
I Sold every story based warframe because I didnt knew about the subsuming. In fact i sold every non prime Frame so i had to farm them again exept Ash .
The open worlds are interesting for new players. They do stall your overall progression, because the game isn’t clear on that fact that your ACTUAL goal should be completing the star chart. However, the Open Worlds are still excellent early game ways to get essential mods and good amounts of endo. Damage/elemental mods, big endo packs drop like candy in there, so open worlds aren’t good for progression, but amazing for early power gains.
I agree. As a new player I really enjoy Necralisk/Cambion Drift. If it makes the game fun I don't worry too much about progress.
@@FelpHiro fax, it’s also a nice change of pace from the rest of the game
Do I have to go on open world missions to farm elemental mods? Or just farming random mobs out in the open?
Lmao i play open worlds even tho im not particulary interested in them i just really enjoy them (death to fortuna)
@@Tadrax Most ele mod better farm in normal star chart. The most set mod worthwile getting in open world usually came from bounty reward and rarely drop from enemy. Actually if you ask some veteran player for those "essential element mod" they even might give you for free.
The Warframe trading market is definitely a pretty big for newb traps. Get people charging 100 plat for an item you can easily get for free or for like 10 plat. I remember someone bought a blueprint from me when i first started that i was trying to sell for 30p person max rank Says it was only worth 15 so i sold it to them for that but later found out the piece typically sells for over 75p on the low end but majority is over 100 plat so i got scammed because i didn't know what i was doing. You get alot of people also selling vary low teir frames for like 50 to 100 more plat then there normal value
I will say this as my own tip. One quick way to grind up credits and get some okay endo without having to do much is if you land yourself a railjack and crew, Sover Strait is a mission you can have done in two blasts of a forward artillery, 6 seconds if the ship is lined up right and walk away with 30k per run, plus endo and salvaged parts to scrap into endo.
Also, for the open worlds, remember to grab easy bounties if you plan gathering, to set the world at an easier difficulty, even if the destructible resources are increased at higher difficulties.
Once upon a time when I was a beginner in warframe I saw that Darvo was selling catalysts for 12 plat instead of 20 and there were like 30 left, I ran to buy plat and bought 10 catalysts, it helped me in early game A LOT, that's the only time I've bought something from him and I never saw that deal again, btw I belive back then there was a darvo discount tab in game's market, might be mistaking
I bought Nidus from him, that's the only purchase I've ever made. Already had Nidus Prime, so basically I paid for Larva+warframe slot+time saved farming
the 20 plat catalysts are worth, 20 plat is pretty easy to get and the catalysts help you a lot, and they seem pretty rare as well
@@bananaballs3205 just buy them from Nora
@@trixon2118 dont, buy aura mods, trade those
@awrebyawe if that came up I'd buy it lol. I want larva. But have 0 interest in farming nidus lol.
Way back in the day one of the times I was trying to get into warframe, nidus prime was up and I thought he looked sick. So I got prime. Just need regular nidus
As of now I’m a veteran, but when I was a noob the Wolf of Saturn Six had just come out. I got the engine(?) part for his hammer and someone offered me 100 plat for it offhandedly, which I accepted very quickly. Little did I know it was going from anywhere in the 500-800 range.
In ps4 is going for 70-100
A lot of players will give you "The Essential Mods" for free if you can't get them to drop from missions. I get pretty tired of going through my mods and turning them into Endo on a weekly basis. Another noob trap is using revives early on in the game wasting precious affinity. if you are new, wait for your team to pick you up or ask nicely in squad chat. Although most mid-end game players will do it automatically.
This. Good lord this.
I see SO many new players drop and immediately revive themselves.
One did it all 4 times and wasted so much affinity.
@@mostlyjovial6177 What's affinity used for?
@@user-jh1dc2jr2v it is your exp, and it is a pain to farm
Edit: At the start of the game it is difficult, but towards endgame you can easily do so with Banshee
Yeah 1000%. Im on PC if any new players read this and wants those basic mods add me KilluaWalker#010. If I don't have it ill help you farm it :)
@@mulliganaway5627 or with Sanctuary onslaught
i feel like content creators downplay how good leveling up your mastery rank is, one of the best things to happen to me in this game was reaching MR 30, being able to forma anything and not have the mod capacity go down because of it. this legit makes the game 100 times more enjoyable.
Currently just hit MR8, how do I level my mastery rank faster? I’m battling slots
@@h4zrd96 early on when you cant afford slots just delete the weapons you're not using/gonna use, later when you can afford the weapon slots you can just get them again if you really want to, for frames it's a little harder since you'll usually want to keep them to use for later, that one you're just gonna have to farm plat for slots i guess.
Oh wow you get slightly more mod capacity for the 1 or 2 rounds of hydron you're doing with a forma'd weapon... that's sure worth hundreds of hours getting to MR30. There's a reason MR isn't really something to focus on and that's exactly it. Not worth it.
The reason MR gets downplayed by creators is because it is mainly a system of convenience.
Once you unlock the Marketplace at MR 2, you can take 300 plat there and bypass the MR requirements for any one weapon available, or buy all the slots you need - which is why it's also a money trap, as DE has a bunch of flashy but not worthwhile bundles in there.
Levelling MR is obviously the superior alternative to spending thousands of dollars, but that can be circumvented through Trade chat...as annoying as it may be. Even the cheapest Prime set can net you enough plat to buy one Warfame slot (20 plat) or one weapon slot (12 plat).
Plus as a measure of experience, it becomes unreliable past MR 7
@@darrylferguson3622 that's the worst reason i've ever heard to downplay MR...
I'd say that the slots aren't exactly a trap. They're definitely extremely useful, and considering how easily you can get the Platinum to get them, I'd say the slots are fair for the price.
I had someone gift me a slot once, after they found out I'd sold them something for way less than the average price. I don't remember what it was, but I sold it for 40p when it was like a 75p item at the time
Slots are the only things I've spent plats on in the game, other than trading. I've been playing for many years and am at mr 27, and have never spent any actual money. I love WF for that; it's the opposite of pay2win.
I never understood playing a game and then paying to advance or what have you. Exploration and hitting milestones, at least for me, is most of the fun of the game. But the game is a lot to take in as a brand new player, holy hell.@@AshleyWilsonAU
@@user-hh4ye5oj2y I rushed my panzer vulpaphyla simply because I wanted it right then and there because we'd already spend a few days farming for the mats and rep to unlock it.
I ran Orb Vallis a lot early on in my Warframe career, but I actually knew what I was doing because I wanted Garuda for the star chart. I actually looked through all of the available frames at the time and settled on that one when I didn’t have many slots because I liked the look of her. Spent like a good couple weeks or so farming her up and ranking up with SU. 😅
I wanted a kitgun and then realized i needed plastids …..400
I've done the same thing, let a mate get me into the game and the goal of Garuda seems so far away ;_;
@@freddiedriver1438 Hang in there! And don’t overdo it, once you hit your daily point limit it can be better to do other things so you don’t get burnt out.
It’ll take some time, but it’s a fun frame. Its abilities all synergize with each other well so there isn’t really a need to replace any through the helminth system. Though there are some popular choices in that regard, I prefer her stock skills.
I agree with most of this. The only exceptions would be the open world and the slots.
While doing open world isn't the most efficient way to spent your time, especially at the start of the game, warframe doesn't exactly have an endgame you need to be rushing towards. So you don't need to rush to finally see people and get groups, if you are having fun doing something, do that thing.
With slots there is a good argument that once you master an item it makes sense to sell it, and I may be an exception because I don't mind spending plat on the game. But between new weapons needing old weapons to create, or rolling a crazy strong Riven for a normally weak weapon, or even mechanics changing what weapon is good, I have never regretted saving the weapons. Plus it is nice to have a big collection of maxed out weapons.
It's also SUPER easy to farm platinum with prime parts. If you can't make 20 plat a day, just uninstall because the rest of the game will take your whole life to complete.
Should be noted that MR does increase your intial mod cap at rank 0. Slightly useful for ranking up frames and weps
I am super glad that I had a friend who showed me how to get through early parts of the game. I didn't fall into any of the above pits, but I still had a lot of fun. I also absolutely loved hanging around in cetus and fortuna in my low MR days. Still do. I think that it's more about having fun in one's own way with that specifically. Like sure, recommend a way forward but the fun of WF is the freedom to do whatever mission or go wherever you so like. I don't even fo SP but that's my call. I don't like the stress of it.
A big trap imo is getting rid of your duplicate mods for endo that are decent. You can get so much Plat overtime by just selling stuff like corrupted mods which can be done basically your 1st week in warframe. It helps you breeze by stuff and be more casual with buying forma, reactors, catalyst if u don't want to wait.
Well, one thing this is valid is to get rid of the 100s of mods you collect for sentinels.... and so and so, but it is up to your discretion
what about selling the common and uncommon mod ?
@@Khang-po4qo They're fine to sell. But I recommend keeping at least one duplicate in case you need it.
Man, I was there when Darvo sold Mk.1 Kunai for 138 plat
What a bargain
Fieldron, Detonite Injector and Mutagen Mass can be obtained fully crafted from Fortuna's lvl30-50 bounty, each rotation (A, B and C) for each component
There is one more noob trap that similar to Darvo. The modular merchants with their daily deals. The ONLY case where they would be a good purchase is if Hok has the plague Keewar or Kripath on a daily saw, since you can only get those from the Halloween event usually.
That being said, I have seen a few good deals from Darvo in my time playing. He had catalysts for half price one time, another he had Nidus down by 30% and you know how long that farm takes. I once even saw Ash there before they reduced his farm time, and they all got scooped up immediately.
The k drives are ok to especially since they are so tedious to grind and they are super cheap
@@danielallen839 k drives are worthless lol
Kuva Liches are a noob trap too. Very easy to kill and then you see their weapon show up above them. Now most newbies might think "Oh neat I'll get a new weapon" not knowing what they have just signed up for.
So as long as they are on that planet, the Kuva lich will steal your money and items you find on the map. Sure it's not much but there have been people who said it's taken rivens and other expensive items from Sortie rewards.
A new play will not kill a Kuva Lich and specially with it being in Railjack.
Honestly I find liches easy asf. It’s just time consuming. You can just quick join other people and you all can do liches quite fast with oull.
a lich stole my tauforged blue shard
I see an enemy, I kill them.. now my earth resources get stolen each time I go there. Slowly trying to get requim relics is a bitch too
Not new at all but I just wanted to share this with everyone ; my lich stole my tauforged archon shard :^)
@@Illandarr real
Unless Darvo somehow has a discount Sibear, there's no way I buy anything from his shop.
Last Sibear I saw pop up in Darvo's shop it sold out within an hour.
I mean, by the time you actually need Sibear for mastery you'd probably already have enough Cryotic for it in the first place anyway. Just run Excavation relics from time to time and you'll never have to farm Cryotic in your life.
good video except for underselling mastery ranks. the daily cap increase as well as the minimum mod capacity increase are so important, but maybe you just forgot in your LR2 sky temple
Another annoying point for open worlds is, DE stuck Cetus & the plains infront of the Earth - Mars junction so you have to go there to progress your starchart, plus the enemies out on the plains are a higher level than anything on Mars leaving new players a little under powered for what they're expected to do (especially if they've figured out how to set their party to solo).
Atleast that's how I felt when starting fresh on the Switch port & I know what I'm doing from years on the Xbox port.
personal recommendation, since you mentioned trading. alternatively you can "farm" platinum by selling some mods or prime parts in order to buy the slots as an alternative to waiting for nightwave to have slots in their rotation every once in a blue moon.
edit: as for some examples, every two weeks with baro showing up, prime junk gets traded frequently. and relevant nightmare mods are obtained within the first 4 planets so i'd consider that fairly early
You should only sell prime junk if you really need some platinum at that right moment. Otherwise it's more useful to either sell prime parts for their inherent platinum worth or sell them for ducats on your own and then sell primed mods.
@@renem.5852 Even better: Don't ever sell prime junk. Eventually, you will have a set, or 3/4 pieces. If you're missing one piece, buy it from the market and then sell the set. Wealth is generated in increments over a long time period. Liquidity doesn't hold value, but having a massive stockpile of goods does.
I spent so much from my 70% off for 30 days booster just to end up not farming that much during that time
prob worth mentioning when you are super new to warframe, for mods that have 6-8 upgrades, upgrading the last two slots are not worth what they give you if you have low endo. Also, it's prob not worth rushing anything ever (ex foundry, incubator, etc), careful on the double click :(. Also, anytime you buy something from the market double check if there is a bundle or not if you buy 1 part of a bundle DE won't discount the bundle after the fact (ex. color palettes) I've done this so many times.
Idk 3 days is a long time.
always check the warframe market to see if the in game market is a rip off. You could buy the voidrig for 375 from DE, but players sell it for about 100.
The in game market prices wouldnt feel so bad if the items were actually cool and not from easy missions. Definitely a trap!
I think the foundry noob trap stems from many f2p games (with ingame transactions) limit crafting to few items at a time.
I have many thousands of hours in game on xbox and pc, and speedran my pc account a few years ago to MR24 in about a month. To me Mastery Rank is very important to increase as fast as possible to make it easier to level Syndicates and Open World Factions. instead of it taking weeks to level the Quills, it can take a Week. Making all the weapons and items hidden behind their Standing Caps much easier to access. Clear the solar system, farm every part from new bosses, do every quest that is available, join a clan as fast as possible, hit those Derelict Vaults, sell corrupt mods for plat, buy credit booster, rob the Index for 10's of millions, fund building every blueprint your clan or from the market. keep detonite injectors, fieldron, and mutegen mass building constantly (and from Invasion missions also for wraith/vandal weapons). Throw nearly every frame you dont use into the helminth. Keep Volt and Farm Eidolon for focus exclusively, easy 600K+ focus a night with pubs)
Lvling up OW syndicate is easy if you know how to shortcut by trading from hunting bosses that drop minerals. I maxed them at MR 13.
Damn crossave must’ve been a tough choice for you, so much wasted time on different platforms.
The foundry is SO useful. newer players need to understand the foundry, where to find resources, how to go about new things to do. it can all be very overwhelming.
The entire game is massively overwhelming tbh, and it doesn't explain shit. Unless you want to go out of your way to find out stuff you are never getting beyond the basics, even something as basic as how to level your MR is barely explained, let alone more complicated stuff like helminth
@@ainumahtar i just want you to know, i have less than 200hours, within my first day, i was able to understand quite a lot, the helminth stuff i agree with, but it's literally a matter of figuring it out for yourself. if i can figure out most of the mechanics that are infront of me within the first day, why can't other people? Just because a game doesn't hold your hand with tutorials doesn't make it a complicated game. if you think warframe is bad now, i would've hated to see you play it A LONG time ago.
@@TheGoobMeista The thing is if I would have started years ago a ton of the systems that you now need to peel down to like an onion on barely anything but selfcontradicting info online unless you know people who know, you would have leaned these things as they were added, which is a lot easier. I don't need handholding, but some indication what leads to what other stuff in the game would be nice
@@ainumahtar what I'm saying though, is I learned the game without knowing a SINGLE mechanic or any system and learned it as i leveled up, if i didn't understand i would just watch a video explaining what that mechanic is/does. years ago the systems were a lot more confusing than now, that's why back then i didn't play it, i didn't like it because i was in the exact position you're describing, the thing is: The game teaches you more now, than it did back then. so the argument does stand, just not as much as you're making it out to be.
@@TheGoobMeista bro you said that they foundry was overwhelming then started trying to dunk on this random guy for saying that the game doesn't explain much. I started playing the game back in something like 2014 and I 100% agree with the other guy that, if you're new, the game still doesn't explain shit. Idk why you say that you figured everything out on the first day and it was all super easy for you but then say, "years ago the systems were a lot more confusing than now, that's why back then i didn't play it". The game doesn't explain itself very well, idk why you were trying to say to this other guy that it's easy and that everyone should just "figure it out".
I've bought a lot of reactors and catalysts recently, but I think they're a relatively decent value if you don't have the time or inclination to farm them through Nightwave or the various events that come up. I find that I use more of them than I can farm with the time I have these days.
A lot of the night wave achievements are just not doable early on. So what is a beginner supposed to do if he can't farm the things he needs? I found that I just had to go unlocking planets and trying to get stronger by upgrading mods was my only choice. Sure I could have bought plat and solved it quickly, but why waste money on that shit if you don't need to?
@@rremnar Because for some people the time and effort required isn’t worth it compared to spending money
@@ragdraki1029 yup, grinding for 6 months or spending 1.50, I know which one I prefer. I don't like buying everything but a couple of things here and there like more slots and catalysts and such make a huge difference, especially once RNG is involved, if you need one thing but it's just not dropping after doing idk, some rotation C for the 50th time on a 15% chance >.
@@ainumahtar Yeah that’s fair but spending irl money for me aint worth it I’d rather try and get the thing and while doing so earn random shit I’ll sell for plat so I can buy it when I dont drop it. But that’s because I don’t play for the rewards I play for the grind. I’m just a weirdo in that regard haha
@@ragdraki1029 That makes sense, it is also absolutely that kind of game, I just tend to get super unlucky with all rng so sometimes it's nice to just be able to buy something, or skip doing like the full rep grind for an entire faction just to get 1 thing.
Biggest noob trap- “it gets better later”
Glad to see nothing changed in the 5 years i didn't play haha
When i was MR3 i asked in trade chat if anyone has a fever strike (which is a common dropped mod) and 2-3 people actually replied to me telling me 80-120p is a common price for it 🤣
Two things that annoyed me about early Warframe were the required solo unlock missions for the open world areas (I found them extremely hard at the level I was at) and the mission that you get the operator which has you running away from some kind of worm monster. For some reason I couldn't get the operator to run and spent nearly an hour on that one. Some of the grinds for stuff like the necramech or the archwing segment can potentially be noob traps because of how long they take. There are a handful of things in the game that take a long time to farm or are annoying to farm. Ash is one of those. Now that we have the Prime Resurgence as a permanent thing, getting Aya by using platinum could be considered a noob trap. Aya drops rarely from missions and can be had from the syndicate relic packs.
Darvo is a daytime robber. If you really need weapon slots, You can get 2 weapon slots for 12p if im not mistaken
Many of the things on the market are not noob traps but rather "whale holes". Whale holes are for the people who want to start playing a game that has been out for awhile. But they don't want to start at the begining. They want to try to buy their way onto equal footing with friends who have been playing for awhile.
I’ll be honest, I made the mistake of grinding through open world segments as SOON as I got the Janus key off my Warframe and honestly? I have zero regrets. I had fun and grew to love the game I experienced, and doing everything else later on has made me grow to love it even more
Your plat should go, in order of importance.
Warframe Slots
Orokin Reactor.
Catalyst.
Weapon slots.
Once you reach midgame (if you did so in a week or 2 by speedrunning the eaely game)
Forma bundle.
No plat goes to anything else. Farm or get a friend/stranger to give you the early mods.
Forma bundles are a waste of platinum when you can easily make a forma a day by cracking relics.
btw mutagen mass, fieldron, detonate injector, exilus adapter, orokin reactor, orokin catalyst, forma can be gotten from the invasion system (prebuild are mutagen mass, fieldron and detonate injector, rest are bp )to get it you side and do 3 mission for the same mission node for the same faction, wait untill invasion ends rewards that delivered via ingame mail. invasion ruffly reset every 12h
For potatoes invasion to come need to wait many weeks since most dont do invasion except for exilus adapter and potatoes.
Hydron. By the time you're able to comfortably do hydron, you've been able to comfortably do SO for a while already. Also, if you're not able to do SO for some reason, as a new player, go do Helene instead, pretty similar affinity gain, and Helene will drop Orokin Cells for you
What is SO?
@@Tadrax sanctuary onslaught you do it to lvl up warframes and weapons
@@bilalahmedkayani2603 thank you!
Hahaha Darvo had the heat daggers for me today too, I always check him out cos it’s so funny watching him in an empty room trying to sell trash
Very informative. Helpful to a new player, such as myself.
For the trading system, I remember trying to buy the blood rush mod, and someone tried to sell it to me for 350 PLAT
Lol
I have some friends who just got into the game, and what I told them was 3 things.
Complete your star chart
Do the story
GET EVERYTHING YOU OWN TO 30 BEFORE SELLING IT
Get your MR up
I think these tips would have been great for myself as a starter back in the day.
One of my worst purchases was from the market where I thought I was buying a warframe but it was a skin for a frame I didn’t have
I fell to the Open World and Mastery Rank traps when I was still new to the game, back when Plains of Eidolon were still the only open world area. I played it a lot because it felt fun sure, but I knew I wasn't getting anywhere. Lol I remember focusing so much on MR that I really didn't care for anything else, and it still affects me today because I harldy ever have the endo I need for mods, or just barely having enough prime components or arcanes to use for myself
Darvos deals aren't ALWAYS trash benson. BTW for anyone reading this it is trash benson 99.9% of the time. HOWEVER, there are some times where his deals make sense. If the game rolls a high good enough weapon at a good enough discount it can be worth it. Lets say he has a soma for 90% off. Normally it would be an eye watering 265 platinum, but at this discount it's 26 plat for
-A rushed item
-A Weapon slot
-A catalyst
At 26 platinum this could be worth it. If the discount on the weapon, and the quality of the weapon have the stars align it can actually be a better value to buy darvo's deal. You'll be more likely to find a unicorn, but if you happen to visit a relay for whatever reason just check to see if the item is about 30 plat and is decent because at that point he does save you time and money.
Bro the MR is so true tho, when I first started I was just trying to get as many weapons and warframes as possible but then I hit like 13 and just stopped caring, now I just like play and the little test pops up and I’m like “oh damn time to rank up again ig”
For each MR you go up it's like you have already leveled the weapon that many times.
I'm Legendary 1 so my weapons are basically fully leveled the moment I get it. Adding a catalyst I can add a lot of mods.
It makes leveling weapon a lot easier. Same goes for Warframes.
Not to talk about ranking up the main covenants. Because I've maxed out the cap on them so quickly that I wonder how the hell I'm able to max them out.
There are enough Quality of life features in MR that makes it worth leveling up and even focusing on it.
his take on open worlds is true about orb vallis and plains but on deimos. you technically have to do the cambian drift since a necramech is required to do the new war. and only way to get a nechramech is with plat OR grinding iso vaults and necraloid standing. also cephalon simaris is a really good faction/person to level affinity with since you can use his shop in relay's to recover unique story items. I sold my umbra mods.... but i got them back now so YAY
Voidrig currently costs about 80 plat on the website. I've made 200 on a bad day. I'm not grinding for the mech.
"75 platinum, not a lot platinum, right?"
Me starring at your platinum and see my 1 Platinum sitting alone in pain :-)
:(
@@Pupsker what ist the quickest way to get platinum?
I tried with riven mods, but I can't even get my vastilok riven sold ^^
@@janikk6814 thats the slowest way. Mods take so much time to sell. You can sell veiled ones immediately tho. I'd say one of the better ways is to just open relics and sell the parts
@@slendydie1267 thank you :3
@@janikk6814I would have to add selling veiled riven got a bit harder than before because now you can get 2 every week from Iron Wake for 10 Riven Slivers each, and Riven Slivers drop like candy now since the Eximus rework.
You are awesome!! Thank you for advices and for building this amazing community!
I accidentally spent ALL my plat completing a craft on a warframe when I didnt know warframe slots were a thing
Clem's the _man._ We ran a 20 minute survival on Uranus, and all 4 of us just parked in a dead end, threw down 1 Clem each, and literally sat back and laughed the whole time.
Very very occasionally, Darvo will sell a frame. But they usually get bought up so quickly, because he only has like 50 of them. But yeah, if that's a frame you are interested in... and you spot it before they are all bought up... not a total scam.
But yeah, they sell stuff like credit for plat in the market and some atrocious rate. Never ever buy that. I don't care how hard up you are. Sell off extra mods or Harrow chassis for some extra credits.
Though you might argue that ALL cosmetics are a trap! 😁
Warframe endgame is fashion lol.
When he sells frames, is it just the frame, or do they come with a frame slot or anything else?
I never knew he could to that lol
@@adamofblastworks1517 I believe it is just like buying it from the market if I remember correctly. I did buy a weapon from him once and I am fairly sure it came with a Catalyst and a weapon slot.
The only reason I want mastery rank is the umbra forma's at level 30, other than that I would be happy to stay at 16 for the weapon unlocks.
Umbra forma blueprint come sell at tenshin from any relay after you unlock steel path contents. It is 8 weeks rotations though.
Also sometimes if devs generous they will do in game event for umbra forma. I have 3 of em, used 1 on revenant prime and now left 2.
@@saimyintmyat9373 I understand that, as I have steel path unlocked and purchased 1 a few weeks back, but 1 every 8 weeks is not much, and I am a veteran returning after a few years player and nightwave was not part of the game last I played and have no idea how long the nightwave rotations are, but considering how long it has been going, you only get one per nightwave too, that's just not really a lot of options to get the forma.
@@joehorvathebe actually you shouldn't waste umbra forma on every frames you wanted to use since they are rarest af.
@@saimyintmyat9373 I don't, I only have one frame that has umbra well 2 if you count Excalibur umbra
New player here. I found this AMAZING attack that works with every melee weapon. jumper, hit middle mouse, cause massive explosion that kills everything around me in 1 hit. dont need anything else ever. You can even pick the color of the explosion particles. Best thing ever
Until it just knocked enemies up instead of killing them. And suddenly did no damage and I had no idea why, or how to compensate for this as I never learned any other attack mechanic.
I now wonder if the Xoris upgrade will do the same thing to me. God I love this weapon
My biggest one was tryna make an op build early in the game by watching vids of people saying you need crazy endgame mods and frames, rather than just unlocking the star chart first
Plan out how you want to Forma a given weapon. You do not need to polarize every mod slot on a weapon.
Mods with 10+ drain are the only mods that need polarized slots.
The important mods you need are "60/60 mods" (60% elemental damage and 60% status chance), Prime faction damage mods, and galvanized mods from the Arbiters of Hexis.
I know you mentioned the market is full of noob traps, but I feel the need to point out something particularly disgusting: Kuva Lich Hunter Collection. Thing is, if the armor was a bundle of just itself, I might consider getting it. But no, it has to come only in a package with every non-oull requiem in the game, and a handful of relics, driving the price up to a ridiculous 800 something platinum. The relics are practically free from murmur farming, and the mods are just void fissure silver items. They don’t even have the decency to offer the armor deco separately. What a scam.
Cough..Corpo Roombas for your orbitor....cough...cough.
The best noob tips I have.
ALWAYS check the market for blueprints before you spend plat or standing on items. You can buy them with credits, and the components are usually easy to come by.
If you are going to buy something, forma, weapon/warfram slot, whatever, look to see if they offer a pack of them at a lower price. Forma three pack is cheaper than buying 1 at a time. Starter slot pack the same.
Platinum occassionally goes on sale. Only buy when you have a discount.
My best plat buy. Kohm shotgun.
My worst Plat buy. Forma to rank up starter weapons/ frams.
I 'd say never buy forma. You can make one a day just by cracking relics. No point in spending cash on something that's only uncommon and not much of a grind to get.
I think another noob trap is not realizing the difference between a cosmetic and an actual warframe. You have to go out of the way to make sure it is one or the other; because it is confusing.
As a mastery rank 7 player 0 plat
115 hr
Intersting
hmmmmm quite indeed
Me who almost fell for an ignis wraith scan a while ago lmao
Those are just straight untradable now so whoever trades just seems like an idiot if they try that now.
I always wanted one just never did get one and too almost got scammed for one. But Had a crap ton of ducats and lo and behold baro just happen to have it this time around.
Don’t get torn up over doing the archwing nodes, if you’re done with the ground modes, finished all the story missions you’ll eventually have a decent grasp of the majority of the game. If you really wanna do them, beg someone in recruitment chat to help cus archwing is the neglected middle child of the game
You dont really need help with them honestly, theyre pretty easy. Especially if you build amesha which is just broken out the gate
I'd say Baro is as bad as Darvo, if not worse. Baro may not take your plat, but he does take prime parts (which you can also sell for plat) and a ton of credits. Most of his stock is cosmetic, and the prime mods are usually small upgrades at best. Also, it's apparently very easy for some people to mistake the weapon skins for actual items, though I can't say I've had that issue myself.
Ahhhh yes, this was a good watch, very helpful and informative, especially for someone like me who is MR 1.
Legendary MR 1
My noob trap: Using Orikin Catalyst/Reactors too early. Save those and don't use them and until you are at least over Mastery 8. One of the nice things right now with Citrine farming is newer players can get a ton of credits and endo if they just stick through the rotations if they are paired with teammates that have good warframes. I know early game the struggle with endo and credits is real.
Potatoes are easy to farm if (yes if ) already unlock all contents for nightwave weekly tasks. For newbie , they are huge trap.
nightwave , has slots, orokin reactor, orokin catalyst, nintain extract and vauban parts and few mods that only aviavble via nightwave, and more. first priority is allways clear junctions first after that comes more main story quest and open world , railjack and other content inbetween. aura forma are optional late game and gotten from abitration, steel path and its related content is late game. lastly be member/ own a clan since the dojo has a lot of blue prints
I just bought khora prime for plat today. In that trade chat ingame 100+ plat.
Waframe Market less than 60 plat but not as a Set. I bought every Part for itself.
I remember first starting the game, opening levels on Earth and then stumbling upon Cetus for the first time. Tried to tackle it with my starting gear and, oh boy, was it a torture. Yeah open worlds should be avoided atleast until the player hits Mastery Rank 10 and has more of an arsenal to work with, otherwise it's such a timesink trap.
10??? I was running through that place Mr 3 tearing people apart with valkry
As a new player how do I get the equilibrium mod?

If you have no patience just buy it off warframe market for cheap
@@nokenzoo funny enough, I never considered buying the mod (I only have the flawed version) I gave up and refuse to fight it out of spite.
I’m a returning player. I played the beta, through launch, and for about a year after launch, stopped playing for many years and I’m just now coming back to the game. It’s a bit overwhelming with all the new stuff and systems but I think the biggest noob trap is loadout envy. Whether it’s warframes or weapons. You don’t need to get a ton of weapons and warframes right at the start, and you’ll unlock many solid ones just by playing through the quests and a doing a little targeted farming. You’re better off sticking with one or two of each that suit your play style and just progressing through the quests, unlocking as much of the star map as you can along the way. You’re ability to level up your warframes and weapons increases dramatically as you progress further into the game. It can be pretty slow at the start but it really picks up speed later and I’m not even talking that far into the quest lines. I made a weapon earlier this evening and leveled it from 1-30 in about 15-20 minutes. Whereas when I was earlier into the game it’d take me around an hour or two of casual play to level something 1-30.
And to add onto what he said about those open free roam zones, there’s some bounties you can do early on but you’re gonna be pretty ineffective at getting them done with any efficiency unless you wait until you’re further along in the game. Once you’ve progressed further you can go back and farm those mods and stuff way easier.
I'm a noob and idk anything about farming I just love fucking around in the open worlds doing random quests people start and killing enemies, its really fun idk. I was obsessed with dargyns before I got my archwings
DE is worse than Darvo those prices are atrocious 🤣🤣

NOW GIVE ME BACK MY PLAT
Thanks for the vid. I started warframe not too long ago. At the Darvos Deals section, I found it funny that the heat daggers were shown with that plat price because I recently found them in my foundry, ready to be built. Quite the steal imo.
Probably the foundry's skip time when you are new and excited equals impatience and mistakes.
I spent ages fishing and mining and just doing a shit load of plains stuff when it first came out, honestly I am glad I did because now whenever anything needs plains materials I have more than enough for htem
Lol, spent my plat on resources and spent hours fishing thinking that was the strategy to farm standing(donating fish) instead of finishing the star chart. Don't fish for hours, get good frames, and do high-level missions with friends.
Farmed relic openings w/ capture missions. Stopped at mastery rank 8 (w/ prime mesa and ivara) cause I don't want to spend money on the game, didn't want to grind level 0 weapons to level 30, and I finished the star chart, and I felt like I finished everything important. Good game, love how it feels to run around, but it is missing something.
I just started playing and I was so sure that you could only build one thing at a time in the foundry!
I'm Legendary 1, over 7 1/2 years, over 2,200 hours.
Everything this man says is accurate.
Dude i could Kiss you for the Foundry tip, i was so dishartened that i was about to sell things when i could just stash the created items there !!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. ( I startef this week).
Biggest trap is in the market with the normal frames for 300 plat just including a space and oriking for space
✋Noob here..well returning noob. I came back and had 14 forma made. Not remembering that you gotta wait an entire day to craft forma, I just started upgrading weapons that I had no effing business upgrading. Want to know when I realized how long it took to build a forma? When I ran out...I also had TWO great weapons in the bottom of my foundry that was ready to build...that needed forma....Yea
My big noob trap was I got obsessed with fishing for like 20 hours. I knew I wasnt going to get anything out of it. I just liked fishing.
Been playing WF day one on PS4...the worst mistakes is a lot of new players come in and DON'T WANT to actually play but want to skip 1/3-1/2, get the best stuff, get taxied to all over, hand outs, carried to higher levels, etc.....they don't want normal Weapons or Frames but The Prime Versions....but they don't realize that Resources, Credits, mods are needed to actually make your Frame and Weapons work and you need to play and get these....You need Max Mods to help Weapons and Frames and some of these can take about 1.4 Million Credits to max out....Best Advice is go in and maybe grab 1-2 Frames and level them along with a Primary, Seconday and melee and concentrate on them saving Credits & resources and build your inventory up....because the Trap is buying and wanting too much...Rhino, Mag and Loki can carry you for a long time. There's plenty of Normal Weapons that are good....And run Survival Missions as they provide the most resources....
Plat is best spent on warframe and weapon slots. Pretty much everything else is just a cash grab that you can farm instead for free..
Another note is that you can farm your own parts, sell them for plat on wf market (alecaframe makes it easy), and buy what you want.
A big tip is to use the free plat you get when you start up on wf slots and weapon slots. Empty it to zero before you trade in wf market, so you don't confuse the two. The starter plat can't be traded to other players.
Sounds exhausting. Imagine grinding for a couple hours because you need Plat and try selling your wares at the Bazaar...standing there....with your hand up...for hours waiting to get that 50 Plat...just so you can claim you're an actual "gamer" as you sit in your temple and watch over us plebes lol.
Now imagine this is the real world, where people have real shit to do in real life, and buying $20 worth of Plat to get what you want immediately so you can play the game seems a lot better than your version of playing "raise my hand, then meet me at a fuckin Dojo, so we can trade and yada yada....sounds fucking stupid.
all great advice~ the funny thing about Darvo deals is during like an event or like Baro days you see this deal gets "sold out" which is like wtf....
After hearing the trade chat one, I realised how low price I sold stuff
Rushing builds for plat is a noob trap
Tbh biggest trap I see is the quest shortcuts on the market.
375 Platinum, irrc, for the Voidrig set maybe some cosmetics, when you can literally buy the set yourself for about 70 or so Plat from players
The Railjack parts are either through the market or the quest, the entire quest line takes at least maybe half an hour to an hours work. Then again tho some people don't have all the time in the world so I mean if they wanna throw plat at it then ig
The only Darvo deal I've done and can maybe recommend is for Sibear. I could not be asked to farm the 30k or whatever cryotic to build it. Still don't regret it to this day.
I would also say mastery rank can also be a noob trap in the opposite direction.
As some people hear that Mastery Rank is pointless. And then find weapons and frames they like really early then only ever use those.
Leading them to never increase their mastery rank. And then they are stuck at like MR 6 or something and have super slow syndicate leveling and locked weapons and things.
MR15 here and I just stopped there. Will grind again for MR 16 for Tenet weapons if I want to use them later.
Love how you have Corpus roombas playing Robot Wars lol
When i started, I got caught by the resource packs in the market, not realizing the next planet i unlocked would get me hundreds of thousands of Nano Spores over the rest of my time playing
TY for drawing attention to the resources in shop. Ive been wanting them to change those to credits for years
When I first got into this game, PlayStation Plus gave me a bunch of free platinum. I immediately spent all this platinum on accident rushing stuff in the foundry because I did not understand the foundry. I then spent money on a Warframe.
The biggest noob trap: You need to max level every warframe and weapon you can get your hands on until you're MR15, otherwise you'll be stuck using the lato and braton for a LONG time.
