Robert Burns Sites in the Stonehaven Area

Robert Burns's father, William, grew up at Clochnahill Farm near Stonehaven. The Burnes family farmed also at Brawlinmuir and Bogjorgan. The Old Glenbervie Churchyard and site of St Michaels Kirk has a number of Burns's ancestors in its grounds, including his great grandfather and great grandmother as well as his great grand uncle and great grand aunt. These gravestones are now protected within a specially built enclosure.

Very interesting as usual - I didn't know about Burns' east coast connections. Just a suggestion for upcoming perhaps! Traprain Law, Dunadd (my favourite place in Scotland, Kilmartin Glen/Dal Riata) - and even... St Kilda?
