I thought I have seen every episode of Time Team and then I watched this one! Even though they hardly found anything worth while it was still a lot of fun!
This is to be taken light-heartedly…….they won’t find any artifacts etc as they threw nothing away….. my mother always said” the Welsh could live on the smell of an oily rag ? Great programs!
Could have been a Roman foundation reused over the centuries because of its location. Saves a lot of expense and labor if a solid foundation already exists, I’ve seen houses rebuilt on the foundation of a previous one because of that.
I can see Cattle or Sheep enclosure as a water source too, look for a wagon Bridge foundation, you know they had a moonshine still too, there was a Barn there for the farm animals to eat and sell, the rich living high on the hog, Horse Stables, and Buggy Barn
Phil just has a way about him. Makes me happy to hear him laugh & see him smile ❤

Love the fact that sometimes they do not find anything !
Always the best eye candy in the field of archeology 😉😜

@31:21 First time automatic youtube captions has done Finds as "finds" and not "fines" despite having watched like 20 episodes of this show 😂
"If you love ancient history..." Wait! I LOVE ancient history!
You should check star forts and mudflood.. Make your own conclusions but its always fun with questions that might change your views on things :-)

Just an L-shape it was only a water earthworks watering trough for horses back in the day the car you know, go feed the cars
Now I'm wondering if there is a Bronze age site in the field marked Hendra. That may not show up on magnetics.
Can you imagine Phil in any other profession?
Other than a Blues guitarist and an archaeologist, NOPE.
Phil’s voice reminds me of Hagrid.
What time are yall calling the Bronze age ????
Guy who does geophys...says nothing's there...other guy sees something there.
Why do you keep reposting this? I think Timeline got here first anyway lol.

Get used to it that's why I unsubscribed years ago!
Any "old" Time Team is better than no Time Team.
