In the last few lines, they make the connection between the 3 titles of the trilogy. It's honestly my favorite part.
Rain is for depression snow is for grief fire is for anger and getting comfortable with dying is acceptance
So the really cool thing about this trilogy and actually the whole album, is that it’s about the man creating a self made dream world and his journey through it up until the trilogy and him realizing that even in his dream world faces heartbreak etc and therefore leads him to destroying it.
When I first listened to this trilogy, i cried all the way through it and for at least 20 minutes after. I havent watched it since then until now. Still punches you right in the feelings. I read this trilogy is written from three different perspectives. The lyrics, the video, and the lead guitarist.
do you mean each part was written from a different perspective or all three are heavily driven by all three? The store of this was very heart wrenching, the ending really made us feel the same way as when you watch the ending of The Boy In The Striped Pajamas, maybe not as gut wrenching but in a sense that theres no way this is going to end like this, hes going to change his mind and live on right?!
This trilogy is a true masterpiece but very hard hitting in so many different ways and I absolutely love every minute of it. I would highly recommend his cover of of "dancing in the dark" by Joji after this. It will blow your mind and set your heart ablaze.

Great Reactions J&A. Even after a year of this being out I still think about this story and why things happen as they do. Some people think that after he tried to harm himself the first time he succeeded and Part III was in his mind. I don't really agree with that though. I just think the most simple explanation is like almost always the best. He failed the first time, Thus having to attend the Funeral service which after makes him more sad and angry (Swiping the photos and memories off the table) So he took the final step. The scenes of Him and His wife leaving the house I feel just show that he didn't want to leave any memories behind and just wanted to be back with her again in death, Where the embrace of them both right at the end signifies.
The last two lines of Part 3 and so the whole trilogy as made of all 3 song titles together.

Well it’s actually all in his head though. It was all a dream world that he created to escape reality, and unfortunately even in his dream world he couldn’t escape sadness and grief, and thus he destroyed it.

The trilogy is basically a mini movie .
Wait...this melody kinda sounds like the melody in the first song.
Because it is! The Melody is in all three parts of the song, it's not only the beginning of Part 1 and the end of Part 3, but also the Chorus of Part 2 holds the same melody! It's one more of the intricate ways to bring these three beautiful songs together.
