It amazes me that they made 90% of the metal community weep like little girls with this masterpiece Truly one of the best ballads in metal (especially unheard in the deathcore scene)! Doesn't matter how many times you watch the trilogy, you'll always break
I couldn't agree more! Definitely one one of the best ballads I'm metal history!!🙏💪🤘 It just shows you.. even deathcore can bring hard core metal heads to tears. Lorna Shore deserve all the love and respect for this masterpiece💪🤘
in my 46 years of life, and over 30 years of discovering metal, it never happened that one band make me cry so often and so loud ... thanks Lorna Shore and everyone who feels the same about them
I´m 25, but I feel the same... It hits right in the heart. There´s only one song I know that much more sad and beautiful at the same time. Band named as ´ To/Die/For´ and it´s song called ´Garden of Stones´. So much feelings, its my top 1 song of all time.
This trilogy is pure art. As someone who lost his dad to suicide due to the death of his mum, this music means a lot for me and I wish I could listen to this for eternity.
Pain Remains 1 > Was Raining and Purple, 2 > Was Snowing 3 > Was Fire and mostly red. This goes so well with the Lyrical content as well as the different emotions it takes you through. ITS SIMPLY A MASTERPIECE (I HOPE THESE 3 SONGS WILL BE IN THE DEATHCORE "HALL OF FAME" HOPEFULLY SOMDAY THERE WILL BE SOMETHINGLIKE A HALL OF FAME (LOL) WOW MAN...... So beautiful
It's so clever how they did that with the colors of each track! Musically genius to say the least! Ahhh man, if there was a hall of fame for a series of tracks this definitely deserves it!! 🤘🤘💪🙏
Also! There’s no breakdown in Dancing like Flames, After All I’ve done I’ll disappear is faster, angrier, darker, includes pre chorus breakdowns. In a sea of fire is dark and brooding and chaotic and gives you a real breakdown. Great structure
@@MadMan123654 I would say, Part III is also some kind of "fight back". He was not defeated in Part II when his hope was crushed and he decided to end his life. I see Part III as a come-back, as hope. I can say these are the phases that we go through after such a loss. It takes years to reconcile with this kind of trauma.
That's what I love about this trilogy.. you don't have to be a deathcore fan to enjoy and relate to this. It's so good to hear that you've enjoyed this and got vested in it🙏🙏🙏🤘💪
Yeah! Me either! I don't like Death Core! I do not even understand what he is saying... But I just love this song! Because of the melodic sounds in between.
I love deathcore. this trilogy broke me. Lorna Shore has became my favorite band in the short time since Will joined them. Austin Archey has IMO the best drumming in Metal. Adam De Micco's guitar work is incredible as always.
I couldn't agree more. They have become my favorite deathcore band since Will joined too. Each of the members are top class! What an awesome band man, and what an amazing trilogy🔥💪🤘
I feel like there is potentially many more levels than just the music and video. In the happy memories, everything is warm and implies happiness, while in the "present" is very dark and cold, while the only accent color was red. The names of the songs if put together can be extrapolated into something else as well. Dancing Like Flames; After All I've Done, I'll Disappear in A Sea of Fire. Dancing Like Flames: flames dancing could imply brief passion, flickering, very fleeting and brief, just like how his time must have felt with her when she was dying. After All I've Done, I'll Disappear: implying his frustrated, nonsensical grief at her passing ."I loved you so much, how could you leave me" (after all I've done) and the I'll disappear ties into the attempted suicide, and the feelings of loss and hopelessness he was feeling in the moment. Finally, In a Sea of Fire: on the surface the sea of fire equates to his burning the house down, but it could also mean in a fit of burning passion, as that is what it must take to destroy so many happy memories. I don't know if it's just me, but it also implies grandeur, and fits the grandiose act of burning his house down with himself inside it. So I have a massive amount of respect for Lorna Shore and how they were able to fit so much imagery and deeper meanings into a freaking music video. Mad props.
The thing is that we all do (or, will) relate to this kind of pain... when we loose a loved one. I am so sorry... But this will happen... Unfortunately I've lived this twice already, when losing my grandmother, then my father... So, I perfectly understand it... But, no matter how much it hurts, nobody should end his life because of this. It is just life. An amazing journey. Be happy to be part of it. @LE: I've heard that some people commit suicide after hearing this song. Do not do this! As stupid as it sounds. Do NOT do it! Fight it! Take the lesson in Part III. The guy patched his wounds! Do not end your life!
You are right. I am a metalhead since mid 80s. Never liked Deathmetal or worse Deathcore till Will joined Lorna Shore and I saw "Operation Throat cam". Now I'm totally into it and discover more and more bands.
What a emotional rollercoaster this trilogie was! I am so proud as a metalhead, that this music can touch the hearts of so many people! The new album is fantastic, and your reaction to!🤘
An emotional Rollercoaster indeed! I feel exactly the same! I hope that this will get more people to listen this genre of music! It's absolutely beautiful in so many way! The album is amazing!!!! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! 🙏🙏🙏💪🤘
The only album I’ve never skipped a song. To me the whole album was literally a fucking masterpiece of death core, while other band members are great and not to take away from them, but once will Ramos joined the group it went from deathcore, to king of deathcore. The way everything is organized in the album, the orchestration of everything swooping together. I mean like i think they’ve evolved the name death core 😂
I couldn't agree with you more! I never really listened to them before Will joined but now they're one of favorite deathcore bands out there. They've literally changed the game🙏🙏🤘💪
I didntr cry during any of these songs. But I can confidently say that these three songs are my songs of the year. Just amazing. This is why I adore melodic metal.
Same here! He is in my opinion one of the very best deathcore guitarists out there. The pure emotion in his playing is something else! Album of the year for sure🤘🤘🙏💪 🔥
Look at us, we have been blessed by a Deathcore band, out of all media out there, it had to be an extreme metal band that would make a whole community weep worldwide, Metal is alive and well, im all for nasty slow breakdowns with bloody lyrics, but the genre transcends when the content is relatable to our pain, it becomes truly special.
I know right? A deathcore band at the end of the day. Absolutely amazing!! I'm all for that too but this hit differently in so many ways. Simply brilliant! 🤘🤘🙏
What a beautiful song. Incredibly strong emotions for me as well. Another emotional deathcore song, that hits like this, Elegies by Make Them Suffer, it's over 10 years old now but it's got a special place in my heart.
So powerful, the whole trilogy is! I've actually recently listened to Elegies after it's been recommended following the MTS reaction I did. Such a great song!! 🙏💪🤘
This entire album has been a truly unique experience. Very few albums evoke such a visceral reaction. There have only been a few that I've been blown away by front to back. This is one of them. An absolute masterpiece.
I agree with you 100%! The entire album is masterpiece! This will certainly be one of the most talked about deathcore albums in a very long time and I recon its up album of the year! 🙏🤘🤘💪 Absolutely brilliant!!
Great reaction again, and no need to hold back the tears. I cry everytime I watch the videos. what a rollercoaster of emotions. The whole album is a masterpiece. Much love from Germany.
Thank you Susanne 🙏 I definitely wasn't able to hold it back this time and everytime I've watched it since. Beautiful masterpiece and truly amazing musicianship🙏🙏🤘💪
I believe he did yeah. It's based on some hardship he's gone through recently. You can actually hear it in his playing. The composer's really do need more credit 🙏💪🤘
So glad I discovered your channel bro, big like and I subscribe! your reaction was so pure and natural. This trilogy was probably the most beautiful masterpiece I've ever heard, this band is definitely my best discovery of 2022 so far, take care and big support from France man 🇫🇷❤️🙏
Thank you so much bro, I really appreciate it! And thank you for the sub! 🙏🙏 I agree.. this is by far the most beautiful masterpiece ever by any metal band. It's perfect! So emotional and so brilliantly written. Had us all in tears 😢 Thanks bud, take care! Thanks for the support 🙏🤘❤️
The colours are interesting. All the way though we have been shown the contrast between the golden past and the dark present. In the final 2 scenes the past and the present are the same colours.
This is so insane! My band released a full length album early last year and we have a trilogy of tracks to close out the album. One of our main instruments is a cello. Lorna is much better than we are but I've even found a couple of written reviews that compare this trilogy to ours which is the best compliment I could EVER get because these songs are the best I think I may have ever heard. Even the beginning of Pain Remains 3, the build up with the orchestra and drums stuff sounds VERY similar to the opening of my bands album! I doubt this is the case, but I'd fucking die if I heard that their trilogy was somehow inspired by what my band put out. We're essentially nobodies. Just in case you're curious, we're called Darker By Design and the album is titled Necrolatry. It's on every platform. IF you decide to check it out, I'd be very appreciative if you let me know what you thought of it. Great series of reactions, by the way. This trilogy is the best shit ever.
Oh wow man, that's awesome! Imagine they did get some influence from you band. That would be such a compliment! I'll be checking out your music for sure man, I'm excited! I never thought I'd ugly cry to deathcore. But here I am, and I'm glad I'm not the only one. Lorna Shore are fucking geniuses.
9:47 Will in the flames, awesome, i'm 50 yrs old, listened to metal most of my life, Lorna is my fav band, brilliant.
i only heard this awesome music and i never saw the video and i cried even without seeing it. This is a work of art ladies and gentlemen!!!!
Love is stronger than dead. It is only a Video but hope they were happy in another world.
6:11 “forsake the ground and let it bury me”. You can really hear the anger & pain in Will’s voice… makes me cry every time I hear that part. 😭

Dancing like flames after all that I've done, I'll salt the earth and disappear in a sea of fire.

Deathcore is definitely not my thing, BUT the melodic music behind Will's vocals has pulled me in, and I got so vested in this trilogy
