It's great seeing some of these old (now defunct) airlines, terminals and planes. I really loved the look and feel of the "old" JFK and the various themed terminals of the 60's and 70's. I get that the old IAB, and many other terminals, were no longer able to meet the demands of the changing times and passenger loads, but they were all such iconic buildings of the jet age, and what replaced them may be practical and efficient for the 21st century, but they are cold and soulless, and do little to inspire the imagination and the desire to travel.

Brilliant video, how stunning was the BA Concordes departure? a travesty that this magnificent aircraft would be grounded a few years later the World certainly took a step back after October 2003.
If we still had these planes as well as some a320s and 787s I wouldn’t mind.

Everybody talking about Concorde, but what about that 707 from royal jordanian??
What about the 707, Concorde was and still is the most stunning aircraft of all time, never bettered and to think it first flew in March 1969...just incredible

Royal Jordanian 707 cargo? Heavens. Wasn't the final TWA livery nice. Interesting BA 757 as well; that must have been on a flight from Birmingham or Manchester
20-30 years may not be a long time as history goes, but it's a huge amount of time for aviation as many planes' lifespan is about 20-30 years or so. Seeing airliners with low-bypass engines and high-bypass engines but still with a lower bypass ratios than the jet engines of today!

I had a thought that maybe somebody can decry for me. Concorde could have departed JFK around 2200 and arrived in London at 0700 the following morning. Was this ever considered? I don't know what the departure restrictions for Concorde were at JFK. Maybe ten at night was beyond them. Any feedback would be appreciated. Because I think it makes sense. Thx
