Oh man, installing this handguard was an arduous task for me to say the least. The aluminum silver spacer just wouldn't fit in and actually deformed as I tried tapping it in with the hammer. Had to buy new spacers online from a hardware store. Eventually got it in and I can wholly say it was entirely worth the time and headache - my experience is not typical it seems; most people have had relatively little issues with their installation. I also STRONGLY recommend any RDB owner to pick up both the left and right bolt release from Life Industries as well as the flared magwell from Haga Defense. Together they are total game-changers and will drastically improve ergonomics and reduce your mag change times. Thanks for your coverage of the RDB. Your vids helped me decide on this as my first rifle and I'm still nuts about it like the day I bought it - even moreso with all the upgrades!
I use magpul rubber mlock rail cover strips on my lucky Irishman rail on my KEL TEC RDB-C It helps so it does not rub or scratch the rail took me 4 rail covers 2 per box I recommend them if your looking for something for that I also run a ncstar mark 3 tactical series 3-9x42mm rifle scope with a quick release I think it's perfect for mine also if you ask KEL TEC to put on the KEL TEC RDB- SURVIVAL integral iron sights they will like mine they are a must have in my opinion i just asked them nicely and was patient with them there customer service was pretty good to me so I give them 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I got my rifle back in 2 weeks which was faster then I expected when I sent it in for repairs after being rough with it for about 3 years
I'm guessing this brand is cheaper than the kel tec mlok rail? I would've still gotten the in house rail rather the 3rd party, but I went ahead and got the rdb defender. Thanks for the content.
@@iloveshootingshit I will be mimicking your set up. I just recently purchased this gun. I still haven’t even fired a shot with it yet. It’s such a Beautiful Gun & It fits me like a glove. So easy to handle & maneuver. The balance is perfect 👌. I put my rail grip almost exactly where you put yours. It feels perfect.

We need a lucky Irishman rail for the RDB-S. The originals work for the RDB-C...but they just look so goofy with the shorter barrel.

It's much more solid than the defender rail. less wiggle too.

It's not finished. Needs a can on it and the mag flare.
I just use mine as a range toy so only got an old Elcan and a bipod on it.
The bolt release and flared magwell mix reloads dumb easy and fast
