I had to stop watching this video because this guy “DOES NOT” know how to cut hair at all!!! He chopped/butchered her hair up, dude go back to cosmetology school and pay attention this time I seriously don’t know how you passed and got your cosmetology license!!! 😡😡😡😡
I was thinking this. Lol. I was like it looks great curled, but this is the haircut where you love it at the salon, go home, take a shower to style it yourself and are like NOOOOOO😭😭😭😭😭 Bwahahaha....ive had too many of those haircuts can ya tell 😂
So much time being put into this cut. Honestly I just watched a DIY involving some twisting and pony tails literally one blunt chop then a little clean up, maybe 5 mins, and it Looked like such a cute angled bob just about this length maybe a little longer, No curl iron used, no over thinking it no obsessing on layers on the ends or what ever all the cutting is here. While I appreciate his thoroughness. I feel like it became a bit counter productive. I will never pay for a cut or highlights color none of it again. I have liked what I can do myself for literally a fraction of a fraction of the service I have paid for in the past. I feel I could have achieved this look but better in less than 10 no iron needed.
I’m sorry but I had to stop watching after he cut the back guideline, I’ve been doing hair for 15 years and he absolutely butchered her hair!!!! It is so uneven and choppy (in a bad way, the layers are not blended and her hairline is gouged)!! She won’t ever be able to wear it straight and it will always flip out!! I’m speechless! That poor woman😱
I'm not a stylist, often times I don't know what you guys are talking about, what does hairline is gouged mean and how come it makes her hair flip out? Sorry just curious coz my hair flips out and I want it to stop lol, do you mean the line created on the ends of her hair? Idk anything but I think she looks cute.
Yeesh! I myself gave myself a similar cut yesterday and was satisfied with my first attempt, but wanted to see videos on how to improve it.. but now seeing this I'm impressed with how well I did, even in the back! I hope you've improved in the year that this video has been out.....
a GOOD HAIRCUT looks good BEFORE or WITHOUT styling it. This haircut only looked better AFTER he styled it. All throughout the video, I kept thinking WHERE did he learn HOW to cut??
This has to be a joke it looks like a kid with safety scissors cut her hair. The only thing hiding the mistakes is the curl but it sucks if she doesn’t have time and just needs to rush out the house.
How would this hair look like If she wanted to be straight? It would look uneven, choppy and maybe even crocked., I think I want versiality so I can have it straight, curly and natural and it should look really good either way.
Susan Jäderberg exactly the only way it will ever look good is if she styles it wavy with the flat iron but we all know clients can’t repeat how we style it
Ok. I'm going to be the oddball here and say I absolutely love it. I love the edgy/choppy type hairstyles anyway. Curled or straight... I think it rocks. 🤷♀️
Dude, no. This does not look good, I was going to keep my comments to myself but it looks like everyone pretty much agrees that you butchered this hair. This is what happens when I do a ponytail and cut off 2 inches, it ends up like this.
Baby girl I see why, I was watching this bc I am about to go back to school for hair and I'm looking like wow now I know I can cut better than this smh. The very beginning was bad. If you can't cut don't do it.
Yes I do! That’s exactly why I haven’t been to a salon in 16 years! And I’m a hairdresser! You ask for a “trim” and get a short cut! Get a foil... leave with roots! People pay allot of money to “professionals” and don’t frequently get what they paid for ! It’s a shame
Hey im so sorry to inform you but you definitely butchered this haircut. I have a few tips for you that i hope you dont take the wrong way and learn from. 1) When you point cut, you shouldnt cut so sporadically and so super quick like you are because youre creating so many holes and blunt ends. Your point cutting is on an angle so youre taking out chunks. I understand this look is supposed to be very texturized and lived in but it should not be the literal definition of choppy. 2) Maybe you should take thinner sections or even wet the hair when youre cutting the baseline only, because you totally made it uneven, drastically jagged, and made holes like you said you dont want to do. You can still point cut the baseline when it's wet. But you've got to make very short, small cuts when doing this at the baseline so that youre still creating a straight, even line. Not blunt, but even. And then finish the rest of the cut dry. 3) Make sure to keep checking the length throughout the cut, by taking 1 chunk of hair from both sides of the head opposite from eachother and pulling them together in the middle of the head to check if its even. Also when youre doing an angled cut, you could over-direct the more front sections to the back, combed flat, and cut them straight so that when they fall in the front they'll be longer than the back. You can do this wet too. 4) When youre layering, you should still use sections until youre done with all the layering and then you can go in sporadically to see if the layers are all even and connected. Even using a razor for this cut in particular is a much easier way to go about texturing and avoiding blunt ends.. 5) You should practice on manican heads before ruining someone's hair and making a youtube tutorial on how to cut hair. Also maybe watching some other real hairdressers/hairstylists cut hair in a salon or even on youtube to learn some real good tips, like Sam Villa is one of the best and then you'll find more in related videos along the way. Once again, im sorry, im not trying to be rude or mean, im just hoping you'll take my comment as constructive criticism. Im sure you've learned lots since you put out this video if you're persuing hair cutting, but if not, i hope this helps. Best of luck to ya bud.
Omg! I too was gonna leave a comment, I have never ever seen such a mess of a haircut from a professional. Those layers and that left-hand side? And the square bit in the middle layer. To butcher the right side the same he should have gone in point cutting with his left hip to her left, instead he stood the same angle for both sides 🤔 anyway what a few waves can make of a pig's ear lol
Before he did the 'layers', I was like "huh! It's not that bad. He doesn't deserve all the negative comments his getting. It's not perfect. But it's not bad either". After he did the layers I went "oh! I get it now".
Can anyone on here find where he can do a 45° angle cut because you have to have that till in order to pass any cosmetology really please help me search for a 45 degree angle cut all over
I have to agree with Kara, as well I’m not trying to make you feel bad, but love who taught you how to cut hair? I was lucky and Sassoon trained, when I first started watching I was like , shit he’s gonna cut that dry?? I have the same hair. Disaster. Criticism by other hairdressers is how I learned, after a year at Sassoon I trained in a salon for another 3 years. Your young and beautiful, the ladies will love you, if you get some better training. I will say that the way that you are speaking through the haircut is amazing I have a hard time with that myself so you were going to be awesome but I don’t know what town you live in go to the nicest salon if you have a Sassoon nearby go in and tell them that you want to do an apprenticeship . There is a lot to learn, sorry for this comment, it’s only to help you
If i worked with this guy in my saloon id pull him aside and teach the lad who to cut hair that is butchered all i want to do is go over his cut and correct it .... sorry son but you need more learning
I was watching this and thinking is this just me because to me this looks awful I would be so upset if he did this to my hair but then I read the comments I’m not alone
OMG this was the worst haircut and styled hair I have ever seen. This is why I have learned to cut my own hair! I have never botched my hair. I follow tutorials and learned especially from Sam Villa. My hair was ruined this way once and I ran home fixed it myself and NEVER WENT TO A SALON AGAIN! I’ve been doing my own hair for 25 years. My God was this for real?
My hair is just dead, I want to get blunt Bob again or a lob. My hair is naturally curly very thin, I want to make it healthy again and thicker. #advice #whatproducts
Maybe this is his first time filming a haircut and nerves got the best of him. I dunno. I feel terrible for both of them. I’ve been doing hair for 20 years and have never seen a cut like this outside of Supercuts or school. Just saying.
I am currently in cosmetology school Lol and I will say point cutting is hard can be tricky at first i see what you were trying to go for but not going to lie the haircut it came out so bad that :/ i hope u work more on point cutting and hopefully u do get better
Me while watching this haircutting part 😬😬😬 … Me when he said the front pieces you curl towards your face 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️. The front pieces until you get to your ear you always curl away from your face and the rest after the ear you can alternate. But everything about this is bad.
Ohh! Ok, I get it. By "lived in", he meant for her to look like her previous haircut has grown out and she's overdue for another visit to the salon. 😳 Right?
Messing up the hair with fingers doesnt hide it pal. İ know we are going for a lived in look and jagged ends with point cut are cool but those ends are a bit too much.
I see that there's a lot of criticism of this haircut, but I think the stylist created the look he set out to. I am concerned about how the cut looked without styling, since the model has such fine and straight hair to begin with. I feel that its better to give a more blended lob, with a piecey, chunky look that can be created through styling.
I just can't! Okay don't make a video unless you know what you're talking about - of course they make smaller flat irons or use a curling iron. You just don't sound informed....just go back to the drawing board or keep going to school.
What in the world ?? Idk . I wish he would have done the haircut wet. I’m not sure if I like this totally and I’m NOT trying to be rude or Mean . I Don’t like telling ppl their work is bad at all. I don’t think it’s bad but I think maybe next time do when it’s wet ???

Always important to make sure the cut looks great BEFORE the curl iron. This gal has no options but to curl because the cut is so random and crooked.
I was thinking this. Lol. I was like it looks great curled, but this is the haircut where you love it at the salon, go home, take a shower to style it yourself and are like NOOOOOO😭😭😭😭😭 Bwahahaha....ive had too many of those haircuts can ya tell 😂

Horrible cut! very choppy.
Why???? Let it straight to see the "massacre " , with curls anything looks good...sorry , but no 👎🏻
This is the haircut I gave my daughter when she had gum stuck in her hair
I’m sorry but I had to stop watching after he cut the back guideline, I’ve been doing hair for 15 years and he absolutely butchered her hair!!!! I had to stop watching. It was giving me anxiety.
Awful
I don't understand this...am I missing something? This looks horrible
OMG, I thought I was the only one who felt that way.
6 minutes in and I’m thinking “it’s ok. just the initial cut, he’s going to fix this”. NOPE! 😬
Those layers are sooooo unblended good lord
Yeesh! I myself gave myself a similar cut yesterday and was satisfied with my first attempt, but wanted to see videos on how to improve it.. but now seeing this I'm impressed with how well I did, even in the back! I hope you've improved in the year that this video has been out.....

AND he's good at doing hair. we love a multitalented man!
@@jasmyne7859 Absolutely. He does men's and women's hair cuts equally as good.
I was like...why is a model doing the intro lmaooo
How would this hair look like If she wanted to be straight? It would look uneven, choppy and maybe even crocked., I think I want versiality so I can have it straight, curly and natural and it should look really good either way.

3:58 "I don't wanna take to much hair off" *Proceeds to amputate every strand in front of the scissors.
Ok. I'm going to be the oddball here and say I absolutely love it. I love the edgy/choppy type hairstyles anyway. Curled or straight... I think it rocks. 🤷♀️
Thank you Jesus for this girl with this beautiful face .. she can pull off this crazy cut lol
Dude, no. This does not look good, I was going to keep my comments to myself but it looks like everyone pretty much agrees that you butchered this hair. This is what happens when I do a ponytail and cut off 2 inches, it ends up like this.
Hairdressers anyone professional on here do you understand why some of us run from salons
Totally agree

Back Left side was pretty butchered, good thing you could hide it with the other layers of hair.
Seriously! He didn't even bother to straighten it out. This is the worst haircut I've ever seen.

Thank you for trying to help him. I bet when she watches this back she will NOT be happy.
Yes omg I thought I was in the wrong for thinking there were so many holes
Omg! I too was gonna leave a comment, I have never ever seen such a mess of a haircut from a professional. Those layers and that left-hand side? And the square bit in the middle layer. I think wet cut for this hair would have been better.
Very uneven and choppy though, my goodness,, why??????

Wow this haircut is so uneven new subscriber going to check out some more of his videos

My hair is just dead, I want to get blunt Bob again or a lob. My hair is naturally curly very thin, I want to make it healthy again and thicker. #advice #whatproducts
Don’t let this guy touch your hair!
Nice curls but end result if she ever tries to wear her hair straight she's going to cry

Omg 😯 is the guy just starting out? Think id rather sweeney todd cut my hair if im honest 😐🙈
Practice makes better. Until then, fake it till you make it:)
Well we all know why she goes to him 😉
Yup. 😂
Lol was laughing about that the entire time...he has potential but he couldn’t be older than 21!!!
Because he's free?
Super cute
Wtf is he doing to her hair!!! 😲
How can he not see that it’s so uneven???
I am currently in cosmetology school Lol and I will say point cutting is hard can be tricky at first i see what you were trying to go for but not going to lie the haircut it came out so bad that :/ i hope u work more on point cutting and hopefully u do get better
Personally I’d ask for a refund and go home and cry if I had gotten a cut like this, but to each their own. I’m glad she’s happy
This looks like the haircut I got at Great Clips
Girls love a good wash! She’s a trooper
Very creative!!!
Sections are messy and it is graduated on the left and not in the right. Practice being neater and stay consistent with elevation.
All you people bashing him, why don't you make your own youtube videos and show everyone what experts you are.
Ok so this is what happens to clients hair when you think that you are Kenneth Siu but you really not.
At 23:20 “tim did a great job, I thought I liked the first haircut he did, but this is the best one yet..” ..you didn’t learn the first time😳
Wtf did you do? Wow . This is why some of us are scared to get professional hair cuts cause Y’all mess up our hair.
So much graduation in the back.. that is why you don’t just do two sections to cut a bob.. imagine what her hair would look like straightened 😐
Ohh! Ok, I get it. By "lived in", he meant for her to look like her previous haircut has grown out and she's overdue for another visit to the salon. 😳 Right?
This was supposed to be shattered ends with a play on blunt ends… I think it made sense from that perspective.
Made me a little nervous at first lol but it came out beautiful!
That’s a massacre, absolute mess.
Omg! What is that? What a disaster!
Omg the back was hacked/awful 🙈
Great cut🤩
Timmy and Liz both loved it!
Yes the negetive comments match what i saw. Its baad.
This is unbelievable… this poor girl
He did not even go back in and check nothing!!!!!!!!!!!
OMYGOD- THIS POOR GIRL... WHO THE HELL GAVE THIS DUDE A LICENCE TO CUT HAIR? HORRIBLE
Hi I am a big fan of your hair products.# love from Bangladesh.
Glad to hear that Sunjeed! Thanks for the support!
Now I see why her ends looked so thin in the beginning Bc this guy messed up her hair
Pls review all of your hair products on RUclips
We're working on that now!
He doesn't even know how to create waves with a flat iron! WTW!
Wondering how this dude got the 45 angle cut at the end of class to even pass
Maybe he figured out a loophole n somehow bought his certificate off the internet 🤷🏻♀️
😊 Thanks
Paleez sar Help me I'm barber men saloon and I love professional saloon
I skip professional saloon
Is he training on her, his first time cutting hair? Jeez he sucks
The comments are so cruel, keep doing you love.
Messing up the hair with fingers doesnt hide it pal. İ know we are going for a lived in look and jagged ends with point cut are cool but those ends are a bit too much.
This dude is literally just hacking every which way .. just doing whatever the fuck he wants with each piece. This gave me so much anxiety 😰😰😰😰
I can see the pain in her eyes
My hairdresser took 10 min to cut my hair in this style . Is that normal ?
10 mins seems a little fast, but the more important question is....did it look good afterwards?
watching this I learned that if your hairstaylist makes you curlers is because the haircut was bad
Omg timmy looks 17. Is he old enough? Lol
Unintentional asmr from the hairspray on
O' Lorttttt!🤭🤭
This HAS to be his 1st attempt at a haircut before beauty school……HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!!
that apron around he neck is just in the way
I think he did it nicely and styled it out lovely. It was just his way of doing it.
I see that there's a lot of criticism of this haircut, but I think the stylist created the look he set out to. I am concerned about how the cut looked without styling, since the model has such fine and straight hair to begin with. I love this cut. I'm going to take this video to my stylist.
Should be longer in the front
ok he could cut all my hair off if he wanted and i'd say thank you
Right? I'm getting some kind of excited wishing he was running his finger through my hair... And stuff 🤗
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
What in the world ?? Idk . I wish he would have done the haircut wet. I’m not sure if I like this totally and I’m NOT trying to be rude or
Mean . I
Don’t like telling ppl their work is bad at all. I don’t think it’s bad but I think maybe next time do when it’s wet ???
This is terrible.
Aaaaaah!
Wow. This is a beautiful disaster
Omg he is literally so handsome it's hard to even concentrate on the haircut 😂
breebreecakes good for you .. I’ll give you an easy summery ... disaster!
You two look like you're 12 or 14. Very cute!!
Butchered left side, bad bad technique!
