I miss when superhero games weren't taken so seriously, and knew what they were, and existed as such. Nowadays, everyone's more worried about "realism" and "awards" rather than just simple superhero fun. That's what these earlier games represented for me, and I'll love them forever for it. Good times, man..
Ahhh..so many memories so little time I wish they could bring this game back cause I really miss it so much Spidey was always my favorite one to play as. Also 12:43 I love that they're playing the Sam Raimi music in the background 😄
To me, MUA1 (IMO, forget about MUA2) is just the best Marvel game ever. Like....EVER. There are great Spidey games? Yeah. But when it comes to a "A Marvel Universe Game", MUA 1 was- and still is THE GAME. (I still play it on my "retro gaming" PC just for it and some other games); I really hope they somebody creates a "MUA3" able to re-capture that "choose your Marvel era/costume" feeling this game gave to us so many years ago. MUA 1 is simply the dream of anyone who spent decades actually READING comics (instead of laughing at each pun/punchline on the movies).
7:13 Stan is so sweet. He and I are kinda alike when it comes to the difficulty of picking favorites and that we love them all. Another thing we have in common is that we love Disney. When the Disney movie Big Hero 6 came out, he actually said in a interview "When I was a kid, Walt Disney was like my god." RIP Stan.
I really miss playing that game because I enjoy using all of my favorite marvel superheros cuz I remember playing it at my grandmother house as a kid like man, I missed my childhood
This game along with MUA 2 (NOT MUA 3 with its MCU's influence 😑), have better writing than most of the comics Marvel has been releasing the past decade.
Oh so u really have to rub it in my face that I can never play Mau 1 or 2 on the Xbox one every again btw I got my Xbox one in 2020 or 2019 so I was a year late to get mau 1 or 2 this game I think had all the dlc too which sucks that I can’t go and 100% this game on the Xbox one

There were those Lego Marvel games. Never played any of them. But I know they didn't take themselves too seriously. I think there's 3 of those games.

The PSP version was really fun. Long car rides were too short when I played this game.

Not having Emma Frost playable was a huge mistake! This goes for Mua2 as well.
