Checked out a Walther PDP compact the other day. I've never felt the gun like that in my life!! Unbelievable!! Gotta have! Plus it's freaking beautiful!
I love my Canik Elite Combat. It’s in my appendix holster on me every day. I sure would love to also have a Walther PDP. But another good one in the Canik line is the Mete SFX Pro. All 3 great guns!
Personally I think the Walther PDP is the best "Duty" pistol on the market. It has multiple barrel lengths, (2) frame lengths/capacity, a better out of the box trigger AND a lifetime warranty. Yes it's better than a GLOCK! 🤠
The PDP doesn’t feel like your shooting a 40 cal 😂 C’mon…it’s not even close. I learned to shoot pistols with a 40 cal, even those aren’t bad with the right grip and body mechanics.
I have the Walther PDP and put thousands and thousands of rounds through it so far and I love it. Trust my life with it and it’s fun to shoot even though it’s a little snappy. The grip texture and stippling is by far the best out of the box. Even if my hands are sweaty I really don’t have to adjust my grip.
@@HuntFishShootChannelyeah I have been trying to move away from using comps. My range I go to film and shoot at has a roof and even with styrofoam a day of shooting a comp’d pistol will rattle my skull enough that I moved away from them. I sold my dr920p and just bought the dr920l for that reason
There are aftermarket options for the Canik that allow you to put a plate under the optic that has rear irons attached that you can co-witness with the optic. That being said, the fact that an optic deletes the factory sight seems like a massive oversight.
First and foremost… great review on both firearms. I lost my shit when I seen these two side by side. The TP9 Elite Combat was of my very first purchase after acquiring my firearms ID. I remember watching your review on it back then (that was also a great video). The TP9 EC quickly became and remained my favorite out of my collection. However, I did recently purchase the PDP pro compact. I gotta say after swapping out the guide rod and mounting the Steiner MPS, I can’t put the damn thing down… it’s incredible. Both are a fantastic pieces and I’ll recommend both with great confidence. I will say the PDP Pro compact feels absolutely amazing in hand and that trigger is the best factory trigger on the market at the moment. Once again thank you for the review.
Thank you! Much appreciated! Thanks for being around for so long and you are lucky this PDP in the video didn’t have a MPS on it! I almost bought one but had the 508t lying around.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Absolutely! The battery life leaves a little more to be desired. Aside from that, it’s awesome. Pretty much everything I own has a Holosun on it, so I when I picked up the PDP I felt it needed something a little different.
Which guide rod did you use? I tried the sprinco system and I'm not a big fan. The yellow spring had super weak lockup and the red spring was a lot better but still had occasional malfunctions with ammo that was too hot or too weak...
I agree. That Walther feels very nice in the grip. Plastic sights suck, but so does the elite combat magwell, it just dont interface well enough on the grip module
PDP Pro is just a cut above the competition. Canik is nice, but it just doesn't feel quite as nice in hand. Honestly, the only pistol that feels as good in hand as the PDP is an H&K VP9, imho.
I used to want the elite combat so bad but never got around to buying one, i did buy a pdp pro recently and my goodness 🥵. The grip, the slide, the optic mounting system, and the mag size are all better. The walther is newer so that will give it some edge but i feel like i would have sold the canik eventually, i cant see myself selling my pdp
@@HuntFishShootChannel for me I the walther is cleary the winner, I shoot it very well and never had any malfunction but however my grip in this pistol make me put my thumb EVERY TIME in the slide release button so the slide never lock back when the magazine is empty.. and for this reason I have to go with canik. I have seen that I am not the only one who have this problem with pdp's ( I tried full size / compact frames) I am sad because as I said I shoot very well with it, a little bit better than the canik
I have had that problem in the past. Some of that is due to over pressure with the firing hand and if you can’t that thumb out ever so slightly it will stop. Give it a shot!
@@HuntFishShootChannel thanks for the advice! Too many years to shoot with my glock and now it's hard to change my way to aim with a hangun. I'll try to change that
I prefer the Glock grip angle and personally Shadow Systems are my favorite to shoot. I don’t have any issue shooting the PDP well, it’s a very natural pointing pistol!
I'm a HUGE Walther guy...I carry a PPS M2 ...my side arm (when I carry owb) is PPQ... I bought a PDP but thinking about trading it in and getting the PDP PRO SD compact to carry
I have both of these. The Walther feels better in hand to me, but overall,I actually prefer the Canik. And just to throw this out there…I put an optic on my Canik and shot it the same day I bought it. My PDP took a MONTH to receive a plate shipped from Walther. So I didn’t get to shoot my new gun with the optic installed for a month after purchase. You have to register with Walther and then wait for your registration email to be processed, then the order gets processed, then they finally ship it. It was terribly annoying. Canik provides the entire plate system with every pistol. In fact, I was so put out with Walther that it stained my perception of the pistol, and now I get mad when I look at it. Lol. I’m sure I’ll get over it. Not having a plates included (at least for rmr/docter) is silly. At least stock your dealers with plates so you can get one at purchase. Of course you could also buy aftermarket if you don’t mind spending the extra $75-$125 dollars. That’s all. Both fantastic pistols, couldn’t go wrong with either. Canik is a better value for what you get and they take care of the customer by including more with the pistol (mounting plates!). The trigger is also, to me, noticeably better. The Walther is a nicer shooting experience because of the ergos… the grip and slide serrations are so good.
Walther didn't copy caniks trigger tho .. you like canik because of walther .. without caniks stolen trigger it would be down there with glock, taurus in my opinion. And canik is a turkish gun and the turkish govt supports terrorists.. that put me off..I wont support them further .
I like that Walther pdp that's one Squared away pistol if you got the regular pdp could you upgrade the trigger to that better Walther trigger if you wanted just wondering
Something seems off with the prices because the Canik is over 70% cheaper than the Walther. Therefore, the price favors the Canik, especially since there are no significant differences between the two designs.
Another great review. I ended up selling my canik elite combat because of the fact you lose your rear irons when you throw the dot on there. Personally I have to have backup irons on any gun that's not going to solely be used for punching paper or steel.
There is a guy named Patnik Soultions and he makes a plate for the Elite combat that has built in tritium rear sights into the plate itself so you don't lose your rear sights.
Awesome video, SUBSCRIBED! Is the Walther PDP Pro SD hard to find? Seems like every online gun store I go to, or even call, they either don't have it or a person acts shocked that I'm inquiring about it. I'd really like to try the Walther out.
Excellent video. As I think about my next fire arm the Walther is leaking my interest more and more. Now your video has me leaning towards the pdp pro sd.
Buds Gun Shop has a fantastic layaway my friend! I’ve gotten numerous firearms this way. They have a great selection and they have my PDP Pro SD Compact just waiting for me 😊
Dont own pdp but wanted to get one soon...anyway, i love my elite combat, there are companies our there making aftermarket plate with integrated rear sight so you can co-witness.. the front sight fits m&p suppressor sight...
My only complaint about the combat is the height of the plate compared to other pistols. The combat has the best out of the box trigger I've felt so far. I really wanna add a ppq m1 to my collection
Thanks for the video, I really appreciate it. Can you tell me what hearing protection you are using I have been using the foam roll ups and push in. Thanks
Axil GS Extreme 2.0! There is a link in the description which will save you a couple bucks and helps the channel a bit. I have bought my second pair to have and love them. I really can’t recommend them enough
The TTI Combat is superior to the TP9 Combat. TTI Combat vs. PDP Pro SD is the comparison I’d love to see. Great video! So far the PDP Pro SD with a Zephyr recoil spring is unbeatable.
Thank you for repping Ohio! I live in North Eastern Ohio. I really need a outdoor range. If anyone has suggestions could you let me know some good ones
Northeasterners here! This is a private range on a farm. Not many good ones, in northeast OhIo you have AA shooting in Garrettsville, Southington and DSS in alliance/portage county.
@@gilgonzales6057 Not one that is open consistently. The metro park range is closed until 2025 so for now it's only C4 if it's ever open and indoor ranges.
I have the PDP Pro SD Compact...whats super annoying is that it's nearly impossible to get certain Walther parts for it. Especially basic stuff like more factory mags, the extended magazine release (oval), or the Tungsten Guide Rod. Since I got it almost 6 months ago, I have never seen any of them actually for sale on their site.
It is very annoying, fortunately as the PDP Pro SD comes, you don’t need anything. More mags would be nice and ever since the PDP came out they have been hard to come by!
I can’t put a link in here for those items or RUclips will lose their minds but here’s what I’m wearing: HRT Tactical LBAC Carrier HRT Tactical Maximus Placard HRT Tactical Hydromax rear placard
Own the canik. The Walther is probably what I would have bought had it existed at the time.. I don't know why canik would delete the rear sights. Forces you to use a red dot with integral rears, or get a custom plate with rears.
@@HuntFishShootChannel I recently I just got a CZ P10C and just saw the Beretta APX A1 Tactical go on sale. What's your opinion on that handgun compared to the PDP? I have a bit of lean towards the PDP since I used to own a M&P 2.0 and loved the way that shot and felt in my hands. The PDP feels sort like a 2.0 in hands with aggressive grip
@Spartan117A51 the PDP is better than those or I like it better. The P10C is a great option as well tho! Don’t sleep on them. The APX is ok, it’s not PDP level tho.
The magazine release is another good point. I hate enlarged mag releases on any other gun but for some reason I never accidentally drop a mag with my support hand. But it’s still really easy to use when you mean to
Another great review. How about a comparison with these two guns against the SS MR920 elite with the threaded barrel (or DR920 elite)? MR920 not as good trigger but I'm guessing it stays flattest among the 3? Walther grip/ergos may be the best of the 3 for people with medium hands, and I've heard if you swap out the recoil spring from 18lb to 15lb, it makes the PDP pro SD much less snappy. Curious what you think.
I have a PPQ and I trust it enough to shit properly and reliably that I used it for duty carry for years. From what I understand the PDP is a PPQ but better in every way. That's my answer.
We answer hundreds of questions and try to get all of them. One or two may slip through the cracks. The holster is a Blackhawk Omnivore for the Streamlight TLR1 HL. Also, your question was answered several times in the comment section before as well, if that helps!
Just take into consideration if your a lefty and wanna switch that magazine release on the canik its one of the most frustrating things you will ever do.
Thank you very much, very nice video..Actually I would like to see comparison between Walther DPD Pro SD and Canik Mete Sft Pro.. They are both full size pistols. Elite Combat is more compact size..
These two pistols used are identical in size and dimensions. The PDP pro Comes in three different sizes. We are leaving looking into trying out the sft pro!
@Hunt Fish Shoot there's absolutely an issue when the rod normal shape isn't straight anymore. Wait until you start putting a decent amount of rounds through yours. You'll never have that issue in the Canik because of the steel rod. Plus, plastic on a Walther? Come on man, I'm "disappointed" because I have one myself 😂 At some point that will mean extra money from my pocket to get a steel guide rod I know is not just gonna broke off like some I've seen already in forums and stuff
I was having trouble until this month I guess Walter must have shipped a bunch. Know at least 2 others that bought there’s in the past month also. I did have to go online though.
@@HuntFishShootChannel I just collect guns and dont have a conceal license yet. I got a used Q4 SF for $800 but have the option to return it for the new PDP pro.
@@HuntFishShootChannel man I too have personally shot both pistols and my fair share of 40 cal…the Canik’s recoil impulse is night and day compared to that PDP…I’ve seen it with my personal experience and other gun reviewers have mentioned the “snappiness” of the PDP….I haven’t heard one say it about the Canik..I’ll give you I haven’t shot the Pro PDP and they may have done something different but the original PDP compact model is a snapping turtle
Fair enough. I will say this, some reviewers need help with their grip and structure mechanics. What’s great about the pistols from both Canik and Walther is they are so similar and both great, you can’t go wrong with either!
Very nice video. Since you have both guns at hand, could you please check, whether the barrels interchange? Someone said they do, so would be nice to have a conclusive answer.
I have heard this quite a few times but I don’t understand why someone would do it. What I will say is there are some differences between the two barrels and how they are shaped.
Well, the reason is mainly that canik barrels have traditional grooves, but walther barrels are polygonal. People who shoot cast bullets usually prefer traditional rifling, and if the barrels were interchangeable, it would translate to cheap and readily available replacement barrels for the PDP.
The Canik Elite Combat is not as new as the PDP Pro. A more accurate comparison would be the Canik Mete SFT Pro. I was looking at both after shooting a friend's PDP Pro and trying out the Canik at my local range. I went with the Canik. It was cheaper than the PDP Pro and came with the Mecanik Red dot and additional plates for less than the PDP. Plus, I can use the mags from my other Caniks.
Awesome video - very informative. I'm just getting into guns and was looking at picking up something for home defense. I've been comparing these two exact pistols for the last few days, so your video couldn't have come at a better time. I was leaning towards the Canik because I'd heard a few people comment that the Walther was a little snappy - but you seem to think that the guns shoot very similarly. As someone that's just starting to shoot, a snappy gun had me concerned - thinking that it might be uncomfortable to shoot for a beginner. All things being equal, I'd prefer to get the Walther - but would take the Canik if it does indeed have less recoil. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
Right the Canik isn’t any less recoiling and in fact the better grip textures of the Walther and better grip design helps the Walther or shooter in managing recoil.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Never shot either. Just surprised to hear you say the recoil is the same. It looked like the PDP jumped in your hands more than the canik. Thanks for the good review.
I wish I could show you some slow motion footage of the recoil, maybe we can chop some up into short and you will see they are the same or negligibly different. The Walther feels better under recoil due tot he grip textures I feel and picking up the dot under recoil is easier for the Walther in my opinion. You need to remember some of that is subjective to the individual shooter too.
I've got the 4.5" PDP Pro, and threw a Herrington comp and LOK brass backstrap on it, the combo of more weight and the comp completely tamed the little bit of extra snap the PDP has. I also own a 2018 TP9 SFx, and what's fun is swapping slides between the TP9 and the PDP...so, if you have a TP9 frame but want a more modern optics mounting system, and the ability to use Glock sights, and the world's best slide serrations, you could just pick up a PDP slide. :)
If you are looking for a CCW type gun the PDP is chunky, for a Duty, open carry or home defense gun, it’s just fine! Would be interesting to see them come out with one!
Over the last 2 years I’ve carried a Shadow Systems MR920, Elite Combat, Regular PDP, and CZ p10C. I keep finding myself going back to the Elite Combat, because the trigger and I shoot best with it with Irons. If I were to put a red dot, (because of the lower mounting system) I’d likely go PDP and get the pro trigger.
I would pick the Canik. I have never felt a better trigger. It almost shoots itself. The price is right. And I never plan to use any sights other than iron. They are able to take a beating and will never have a dead battery. Plus 40+ years of shooting irons makes me comfortable with them. If you choose something else great.
Just got a Canik Elite Combat yesterday at a great price and had time today to run some Target drills and it was great and I also have no plans to add a red dot , I am in my mid- sixties and I have a hard time acquiring the red dot , it's just to late in life to embrace the fad of red dots at least for me , I tried them and just couldn't adapt to the change .
I see that regular PDP magazines do not fit the PRO SD (unless you remove the flared mag well)... but do the PRO SD version of the mags fit into regular PDPs? (assuming both full size 18 round versions)
After holding both, the base thumb knuckle of my hand interferes with the pdp grip. Had to go canik. Oh and the slides are interchangeable on the canik
Yes both of them do and they do or can help a little bit. Length of pull is the term you are looking for and in that case, the canik Elite Combat is shorter.

There's a pretty cool Plate that you can get for the Canik TP9 Elite Combat that has a Rear Sight.
Good to know!
Awesome video, SUBSCRIBED! Is the Walther PDP Pro SD hard to find? Seems like every online gun store I go to, or even call, they either don't have it or a person acts shocked that I'm inquiring about it. I'd really like to try the Walther out.
They are hard to find the pro model! I noticed though, they have started becoming a little bit more common.
Thanks for watching! Thanks for the sun!
Excellent video. As I think about my next fire arm the Walther is leaking my interest more and more. Now your video has me leaning towards the pdp pro sd.
If you can find Pro Sd model, get it instead. If not the PDP is a great pistol in general, as are the Canik pistols.
They have a walther pdp pro SD at my local gun store right now and I just get mad when I walk past it because I'm poor.
Just hold out some hope!
Buds Gun Shop has a fantastic layaway my friend! I’ve gotten numerous firearms this way. They have a great selection and they have my PDP Pro SD Compact just waiting for me 😊
Would love to see the Walther vs the Mete SFT. Love the channel and the info.
Thank you! That’s a possibility one day!
Dont own pdp but wanted to get one soon...anyway, i love my elite combat, there are companies our there making aftermarket plate with integrated rear sight so you can co-witness.. the front sight fits m&p suppressor sight...
Thanks for the input!
My only complaint about the combat is the height of the plate compared to other pistols.
The combat has the best out of the box trigger I've felt so far.
I really wanna add a ppq m1 to my collection
Great pistol for sure!
The PDP Pro is easily one of the best pistols you can buy for a striker fired gun.
@@HuntFishShootChannelI retired my S&W, Glock, and Sigs after the PDP Pro SD. Not even close…
That's tough.. Those are my 2 favorite guns
Really tough because they are both great!
@@HuntFishShootChannel Thanks Brother. With the weather warming up I guess it'd be good to get a nice drive in anyways
I’m in Akron. Did you find a range?
Thanks for the great review. Can you provide a link to the plate carrier you are wearing along with the attachments. Thanks in advance!
I can’t put a link in here for those items or RUclips will lose their minds but here’s what I’m wearing:
HRT Tactical LBAC Carrier
HRT Tactical Maximus Placard
HRT Tactical Hydromax rear placard
@@HuntFishShootChannel THANK YOU!!!
You are welcome!
Hey brother, great video, as usual! I’m taking the PDP…
Thank you! Can’t help but love that PDP 💪
Own the canik. The Walther is probably what I would have bought had it existed at the time.. I don't know why canik would delete the rear sights. Forces you to use a red dot with integral rears, or get a custom plate with rears.
It’s likely why some of their newest variants don’t do that and are specific to an RMs or RMRCC cut
Patnik solutions makes plates with rear tritium built in
I shot the a canik and didn't like the way it felt in my hand. I kinda want to try a Walther. Held one at Cabela's and that thing felt just right
Definitely one of the advantages of the Walther over the Canik!
But it’s still really easy to use when you mean to
For sure!
Try Springfield armory Echelon. I have 2 Walther pdp and 2 Canik Mete and Rival but Echelon is like a dream gun.
We have the echelon chronologically this video came out well before that!
I recommend comparing the Walther to the Canik SFT Pro.
The SFT Pro is a 5 in barrel gun, we would need to get a different variant of PDP Pro SD then since this was a compact.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Good point! In any case, that was a great comparison video!
Thank you!
@@HuntFishShootChannelyes would like to see SFT Pro vs Walther PDP Pro SD!!
I’ve been eyeing the 2!! Hesitate on the pdp due to polymer recoil spring
@@HuntFishShootChanneldon’t they have a pdp full size?
Another great review. How about a comparison with these two guns against the SS MR920 elite with the threaded barrel (or DR920 elite)? MR920 not as good trigger but I'm guessing it stays flattest among the 3? Walther grip/ergos may be the best of the 3 for people with medium hands, and I've heard if you swap out the recoil spring from 18lb to 15lb, it makes the PDP pro SD much less snappy. Curious what you think.
A few months ago we compared the PDP Pro with a comp vs the XR920P. Not exactly what you’re looking for but it’s closer lol
I have a PPQ and I trust it enough to shit properly and reliably that I used it for duty carry for years.
From what I understand the PDP is a PPQ but better in every way. That's my answer.
Thanks for sharing!
What holster are you running for that pdp ???
Can I get an answer ???...if u guys don't answer ur subscribers questions...ur gonna lose subs...
We answer hundreds of questions and try to get all of them. One or two may slip through the cracks.
The holster is a Blackhawk Omnivore for the Streamlight TLR1 HL.
Also, your question was answered several times in the comment section before as well, if that helps!
@@HuntFishShootChannel it's kool...thanx for the reply...I'm still subbed...lol
Just take into consideration if your a lefty and wanna switch that magazine release on the canik its one of the most frustrating things you will ever do.
Good to know!
I love the design on the walther pdp pro
It’s fantastic!
Would love to get my hands on a PDP pro SD but they are not imported to Australia. :(. Very disappointing,.
That would be disappointing!
Thanks for extra information.. I didnt know that PDP pro has 3 different sizes.. @@HuntFishShootChannel
Shame that Walther ships the PDP with plastic guide rod...
There’s no issue with it, other companies do the same thing
@Hunt Fish Shoot there's absolutely an issue when the rod normal shape isn't straight anymore. Wait until you start putting a decent amount of rounds through yours. You'll never have that issue in the Canik because of the steel rod.
Plus, plastic on a Walther? Come on man, I'm "disappointed" because I have one myself 😂
At some point that will mean extra money from my pocket to get a steel guide rod I know is not just gonna broke off like some I've seen already in forums and stuff
I have a pile of rounds through this as well as a original PDP. Thanks for sharing!
I was having trouble until this month I guess Walter must have shipped a bunch. Know at least 2 others that bought there’s in the past month also. I did have to go online though.
They are online if you do some searching!
IF YOU HAD TO PICK ONE BETWEEM THE WALTHER Q4 SF OR THE WALTHER PDP PRO AND THEY WERE BOTH THE EXACT Sme price, which would you pick.
Depends on the use. I’m not generally someone who considers costs as a deciding factor unless two guns are similar in features.
@@HuntFishShootChannel I just collect guns and dont have a conceal license yet. I got a used Q4 SF for $800 but have the option to return it for the new PDP pro.
I also have a Walther Q5 SF, DS Prodigy 4.25, Sig P229 Legion, Sig P226 Equinox and a Beretta 80X Cheetah. I dont own any polymer as of yet
@sunnantariq723 that’s a great deal you should keep it!
I am pretty sure you can swap the slides and they will run. Canik is fantastic value but I'd pick walther.
No idea on that concept but it’s possible I suppose
@@HuntFishShootChannel TP9 is basically a PPQ clone. And PDP is an upgrade of PPQ, all 3 should be compatible with each other
Again can’t speak on that. The Canik and Walther mags between these two guns during the review were not compatible.
Canik nailed those triggers, before shooting my friends Rival the best striker fired trigger is I have shot is in my P-10s
They sure did!
Not sure about Walther but I have the Executive model of the Canik and it’s a single shot suppressed.
The executive and the elite Combat are nearly identical. The PDP Pro SD does come with another recoil spring for suppressed or comps.
I’d add that the Canik shoots much better in terms of felt recoil to the PDP. That PDP feels like you’re shooting 40 cal….
C’mon! Go shoot a 40 cal more and revisit that statement. The two pistols side by side feel nearly identical.
@@HuntFishShootChannel facts!
💪
Very nice video. Since you have both guns at hand, could you please check, whether the barrels interchange? Someone said they do, so would be nice to have a conclusive answer.
I have heard this quite a few times but I don’t understand why someone would do it. What I will say is there are some differences between the two barrels and how they are shaped.
Well, the reason is mainly that canik barrels have traditional grooves, but walther barrels are polygonal. People who shoot cast bullets usually prefer traditional rifling, and if the barrels were interchangeable, it would translate to cheap and readily available replacement barrels for the PDP.
I understand that aspect of it but can’t tell you exactly and if they function reliably with a barrel change.
You do you! I’ll take the PDP over that as well. Great pistols all around
Good to know! Thanks for sharing!
Elite combat for me and it has a better trigger.
You do you!
I gotta say, Walther guns are chunky AF, and i thought HK guns were bulky. Im kinda waiting on Walther to release a Micro Compact.
If you are looking for a CCW type gun the PDP is chunky, for a Duty, open carry or home defense gun, it’s just fine! Would be interesting to see them come out with one!
Got rid of my g19 for the PDP PRO 🤷🏽♂️
Good idea!
I only prefer the Canik on days that end in y.
Hmmmm…. That’s all of them 🤣🤣
Over the last 2 years I’ve carried a Shadow Systems MR920, Elite Combat, Regular PDP, and CZ p10C. I keep finding myself going back to the Elite Combat, because the trigger and I shoot best with it with Irons. If I were to put a red dot, (because of the lower mounting system) I’d likely go PDP and get the pro trigger.
Awesome, all great options you listed!
I love my SAI irons with green fiber. Instant sight picture
Great! Thanks for sharing.
@@MrSymbolic7 I am 60 and the same. I love that my sights never need batteries.
I see that regular PDP magazines do not fit the PRO SD (unless you remove the flared mag well)... but do the PRO SD version of the mags fit into regular PDPs? (assuming both full size 18 round versions)
Not sure on that. Haven’t tried so can’t speak to it
Off the wall question but do you prefer the new tti over the pdp pro with comp? Thanks
No i do not. The PDP with a comp is flatter or softer shooter, plus I just like Walther PDPs more than Canik pistols.
After holding both, the base thumb knuckle of my hand interferes with the pdp grip. Had to go canik. Oh and the slides are interchangeable on the canik
Great! Thanks for sharing!
What tactical belt are you wearing ????
That would be an HRT Tactical Gear ARC belt and ARC pouches!
That's a nice setup I going to look into it, thanks for the info 👍🏽
@edward1963bg I love it! Ultralight and rigid!
@@HuntFishShootChannel definitely a NICE setup !!!👍🏽

It is very good!
Now we need comparison between the PDP PRO SD and the Springfield Echelon!
The review has been filmed! In the editing process now!
Great video brother! Definitely need to get my hands on that psa sabre. Can you do a fire on the best duty pistols? That would be fire
I’m in! We’ll put the idea on the list of to dos!
This isn't even a competition, Walther all the way
💪
It's even and Maybe a slim edge to canik
It's definitely close especially with like a 400 dollar price difference
Walther, I will NOT support a terrorist country, Turkey.
Canik can't be beat dollar for dollar...
Is that the stock trigger on your pdp? Thank you for the video !
It is if you the the Pro model like this one!
Ok, buy the Walther if found at a gun store but you can’t go wrong with the Canik.
For sure 💪
Do both or either come with back straps? and would that help with the trigger pull distance(not sure the right term)?
Yes both of them do and they do or can help a little bit. Length of pull is the term you are looking for and in that case, the canik Elite Combat is shorter.
Walther. Canik is nice tho
That was a sweat review!!! I haven't tried eather one, but for comparison with a g19x how's the recoil with those two?
the 19x has less recoil or feels as though it does. More forgiving but that’s not to say either of these are harsh or bad on recoil.
@@HuntFishShootChannel thank you! I hope one day to get my hands on one of this, but I do own a 19x 👐
Great pistol also!
Hi ! Do you know a holster for PDP COMPACT PRO mounted with olight baldr pro R ? thanks
