Honestly I love the matches where they feel eachother out first and start off slower. Brings out people more technical sides. Ala John brzenk and devon larratt. Theres obviously a lot more than then but those are the two most recognizable by name to me.
in climbing training there is ways to train to improve "rate of force devellopment" which is how fast we contract/recruit muscles, so it should be possible to improve this in armwrestling aswell
The best answer is in Oleg Zog vs Andrey Pushkar fights. Oleg mastered so much his back pressure that it was impossible for Andrey to hit. I think the key is to master a specific move with the necessary strength that can disarms the explosiveness. Also Larratt used to do the same with his shoulder commitment against Taras Ivakin
I dont understand. Usually for explosive strenght workout should be more about high reps with high intensity with low or no weight. Becuse You train for speed so strenght is not so important... I dont mean You are wrong with anything in this video. It makes total sense. But what You talk about is 2 component workout. Both strenght and speed, with higher focus on strenght. But its only one part of speed training. But for speed You get better resaults if You also include low weight high reps wich will have better resaults for your speed wich indirectly will effect your strenght performance. This type of workout is also good for muscle volume and recovery. Its great for your tendons aswell, becuse they have very low blood flow and high intensity with more time under tension will results in more frequent blod flow for your tendons. Your brain will also, in time develop more braincells in that part of the brain that controlls this specific movement wich also makes You stronger.
Hi, can you do a video for wrist "spinning " when training top roll? When I try to work it my wrist hurts and the "outer bone" to call it like that moves and feels like it's gonna pop out of place. The pain happens even when I try to work with light weight such as the small red resistance band. It sucks cause I can't really train pronation and in most of the matches I lose my neutral position and it hurts too. I'm sure I can't be the only one having this problem😂 keep it up coach💪👏

Brilliant tips for practising reaction time with the ready go’s on a voice memo or in practise. Love it! 💪🏼 looking forward to part 2!
Coming soon!
Already working on my speed, I got to this video only 1 hour after it was posted
@@MUCKFOOT399 almost

waiting for part 2
Thank you!
You got it!
One thing is for sure Devon Larratt has never Trained for Speed and explosive ness. 😁
That's why he's never been a world champion or won a Zloty Tur title. Just saying.
@@koolburn5218 That’s exactly the reason..you nailed it.
True devon lack the power to pin most of opponents he holds them until they gas out he mostly go for defense not attack
Yeah Devon trains more for endurance
@Dave Easy Vectorz Bowen jajaa fr he don't know
As they say in sport. Speed kills
Thank you so much guys for your videos. They are so helpful....
Can you make a video showing exercises to improve your speed.
Always love the passion and information from the Jedi!
Great work guys.
Thank . - Janis
Thank you, I will work on my soft tissue.
Wonderful!
Speed of light>Speed of sound. So look at ref is fastest 😂
@0:22- Cobra Kai will help with arm wrestling 😂🐍 Strike first, strike hard.
Did the practical training follow up video ever get made?
They need to get rid of ready go's and just say go
Exactly why? So there is even more disparity between the explosive guy and the slow reaction time guy.... Makes little to zero sense at all
On the contrary, how do you defend against an opponent who can win fast, but loses in the slow pull?
What do you mean ?
Try to catch his hit and then win him.
But it’s easier said than done lol

Defend like Devon larratt
Or like Michael Todd kings move
Catch him 😅or load him up in the set up foul professional restart ( depending on foul system ) there’s probably more
HIt on 'ready' :D
Who's the guy in the video around 9:30 beating Allen Fischer and Alex Toproll?
Talgat Aktaev enters the chat.
He is another level
Does partial range of motion make stronger than full range of motion ?
For Tendon strength yes however you really need both for overall health and maximum strength gains
13:30 Audio is faster then visual. Then why do i see the lightening before i hear the thunder.
Faster than last time.
Waiting for season 5 cobra kai ❄️🐍🐍🐍
David dodykian be like:
The fastest arm wrestler I've ever seen in my day was Danny tesch!
1:32 elbow faul on janis
Not even Kaspars would call this
