    I have come to the conclusion that any problem in armwrestling is solved by this:
    GET STRONGER

    I have a question about elbow starting position on the pad. I remember Travis saying that if someone starts with their elbow at the back of the pad, it means they either don’t know what they are doing or they REALLY know what they are doing. Can you talk a little bit about this. In which situation would starting at the back of the pad be useful?

    • @DJTechnoboom
      @DJTechnoboom 2 года назад +11

      This is why Son Goku, if they start at the back of pad it means they know you are going top roll so they slide there arm up the pad and then go into a hook with the person instead which would catch less experienced arm wrestler's off guard i would imagine

    • @luisestrada2732
      @luisestrada2732 2 года назад

      Honestly just put it on the top right of the pad if you wanna toproll or in the middle front and in the middle middle if you’re hooking

    • @НиколайТобиас
      @НиколайТобиас Год назад +5

      @@luisestrada2732 first of all - thanks for saying top right considering you have two arms and starting position should be simmetically opposite. Second of all - low hand toproll on right arm works better from top left of the pad, movement outside towards opponents pad allows you to connect with his low fingers better and backpressure at the same time finishes the job. You will be closer to being pinned sideways, but you will probably have your opponents wrist. There is so much more to it than simply stating the positions on the pad

    Appreciate these videos. Any tips on how to slip, particularly against someone who is trying to stop you from slipping. Also the opposite, how do you stop someone from slipping? Any advice would be great.

    Hello Coach Ray and Janis! I always watch your video with pleasure and I love what you are doing. I have a question. How to defend against High Hookers because I always lose to them. Should I try to improve my Pronation? Please can you make a video about this? Thank You 😊💪

    Can you do pronation video , what is best way iso , plyo , din , static , volume dunno whats best way ...

    I think even if you drop your wrist when you gonna regrip in the strap by using choping motion you need a lot of radial deviation strenght to do that. By yea Voevoda i kinda right dropping your wrist without choping and gaining high hand is dumb

    This is good! Anyway, are you guys posting about "Losing pronation strength?"?
    This is what I'm talking about last video, I''m a toproller and I always lose to this guy who have bigger hand than me (he uses hook). His hand is so huge that it's covering my entire hand (i'ts like he's dad moving me lol) and he can easily supinate me. I can't target his finger because of his big hand and I always lose because of this.
    I know I should get stronger, but what can I do about this technique wise and in straps?
    Thanks in advance.

      Strap- it may favor him, if he goes inside.
      Find at least one movement-one position where you are as strong or stronger, on focus on working through it and making it stronger.

      Try to set up really shallow, don’t let them take a deep grip, really get into those fingers off the start before go

      @BlackPill Jesus I beg to differ. RVJ said many times that he would close a gripper and curl the wrist as part of his exercise routine.
