I remember when I bought Dragon Age Origins in a game store, I looked at the cover, it looked cool, I bought it and loved it. This one, everthing I see from it is just colorful garbage. Your personality is gold, there are a lot of people criticizing it and calling it trash, but it's cool seeing someone raging over it like you, because thats the way I feel.
The female rook in this gameplay looks like she came straight out of the Saints Row Character creation suite for SR3. So cartoony and the eyes and how the light hits them looks awful.
No, because you have a fucking point. They really just looked at the worst games of the past 5 years and said "what would happen if we combine them into one?"
Yeah, Necromancers arent necessarily evil. Cassanda's entire kingdom does and embraces Necromancy (as you pointed out, Nevarran). Necromancers are looked at as weird but not in the same vein as Blood Mages.
Also from what I have seen with the characters I have no interest in romancing any of them. none of them make me feel attracted to them or want to get to know them. I am more interested in installing origins or inquisition and romancing those characters.
one of the greatest dark fantasy series, that introduced demons that possesses you for fun and mutate you into a cancerous looking humanoid that has darkspawn literal spawns of darkness that gr..pe women feed them blood and flesh to turn them into broodmothers that give birth to more darkspawn that has human/elf sacrifices from other humans or elves for blood magic.... is going out with a whimper
Don't forget they turned a race of people (the Qunari) that are very strict with gender roles, men go out to explore and war and women stay back and nurture the children, Into stupid genderless reject tieflings.
I agree with everything you said! It's so frustrating to see so many different things I loved growing up get turned into all this stupid 'for modern audiences' crap. I want good story writing and complex characters to interact with in my rpg, not to just point and shoot at the same enemies for hours on end.
Neve section: she’s gonna use all the tools at her disposal. *tools at her disposal: a specialization that was basically a core part of the base game mage kit (ice magic) in all three of the last games. Gamers that don’t support criticism are not only giving away their money for lazy products and minimal effort but also giving away their money to someone that thinks they are stupid. Let’s give loyal fans a lazy product but it’s ok gamers are stupid, they’re not going to care.
ALL OF THE DRAGON AGE COMICS (AND THE STUUUUUUUUUPID PODCAST/VOICED MINI SERIES) MADE PRIOR TO VEILGUARD, WERE LITERALLY MADE TO ESTABLISH THESE CHARACTERS AND CREATE THE STARTING PARTS OF VEIL GUARD AND THEY MADE CHANGES TO CHARACTERS. WHAT WAS LITERALLY THE WHOLE DAMN POINT OF MAKING THESE COMICS THEN?!?!?!?! SLOPPY SH1t 💯
LOL I like you. Funny as hell. Ultimates, discount Antivan Crows, qunari lookin like they bathe in mayonnaise, ugly characters, poor animations, MMO gameplay but OH LOOK hair physics and you can pet the gryphon. geez
They must be drooling over Crimson Desert since you can pick up the cats and dogs and cuddle them, but of course none of them want to look at anything better than veil guard, or if they did they'd just complain that the combat is too hard.
Uaaaaaaaah those loot boxes are so OBVIOUSLY meant to be paid to open. ROFL the hair physics... They're hyping them up SO MUCH, but honestly that part where the hair... flows... over the Qunari shoulder looks AWFUL!! OK in many scenes it looks great, but it's far, FAR from perfect - which is SHOULD be given how many corners they cut on everything else. Yeah I try to forget Belara. She's basically Peebee 2.0 with a sprinkle of Merril. Everything about the Elven artifacts reminds me of Peebee dicking around with 'remtech' in ME:Andromeda.
The hair doesn't match the rest of the "look" of the game. The design and aesthetic of the game looks cartoony, stylized, and they are giving them hyper realistic hair? It just looks out of place. Not that even if the graphics were COD level graphics would the game be suddenly good. People really think that just because something looks "good" it all of the sudden makes the game decent. Nah.
Just found your channel and THANK YOU. This party is just chars from previous games, but stripped out any "bad" traits. They're all good, love good and wants to bring good into the world! I can't imagine any of them approving "evil" actions, so we are robbed of them just like of normal roleplaying IN ROLEPLAYING GAME ps: hair physic is a mess
How is it surprising the fans about Emmerich and Necromancy? The Mortalitassi have been established as a nominal part of Thedas since Inquisition. The only people it would be surprising are casual viewers who know nothing about the setting
This is the only thing i like about Y-tubes algo. Take this vid for example. It drops out of nowhere and it entertains me. We got this tiny skinny girl with a big bad mouth being 100% correct about Dragon age the Veilguard. A nice start of the week.
They are targetting a very small portion of their fanbase. The ones that want to spend 4 hours in character creation and play on easy mode to fuck the companions.
To be fair, I heard the hair physics were actually developed for FIFA and the DA team just copied the homework, so... I guess it sort of evens out since they didn't really have to put in much effort at all.😅
All I need is good hair physics, that’s literally it I’m like a cat, I will watch that hair flip and whip around for hours and hours and hours and not get bored, that’s why stellar blade is my game of the year, eves hair is fucking beautiful and I love it
Media shills have been tryna tell me this game looks great, it's so promising. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here feeling like I'm taking crazy pills. Like, are we even looking at the same game? Everything I've seen so far look extremely mediocre. I don't feel any hype for this game at all. I've lost faith in this company years ago. I'm relieved to see I'm not alone in this.
People are used to mediocre shit. All the fucking rethoric I am getting about people that "like" this game is that I am homophobic and that the game isn't for me. Except it isn't for anyone. This is just an overpriced and overhyped dating simulator at this point.
Yeah.. Like the gameplay trailer was a much better showing than the cinematic trailer that made it look like a generic hero shooter.. But that isn't much of an achievement. When I saw that all the demons are pretty much just colour swapped wraiths I groaned, then they had freakin' coloured pots to break for healing items.. Like, is this an RPG or an action game? (Clearly it's the latter)
Finally someone who's also repulsed by that edgelord. I hate him, lol. I guess I have the same cringe edgelords allergy. Btw, apparently the writer said he loves coffee and is a great cook. Such important information, wow. I can't wait to see how his culinary skills will impact his undoubtedly great character arc.
Oh, my dislike for this dude goes even deeper. Remember Zevran and what he told us about what it was like being trained as a Crow, from a young age on? Sold to them at age 7, had to endure torture to build up pain tolerance, most of the other children in his class died, and let's not forget that someone had to "teach" him how to seduce people. According to Zevran's own words, he did not _enjoy_ doing that very often. And then we have Lucanis. Grandson of one of the 8 Crow leaders. All he mentioned in the novel was that granny sometimes beat him and his brother with a stick. Also, he felt more like a generic hero in the novel than an actual assassin. They completely retconned the horrors the Crows put children through. Now it's something along the lines of La Familia!
so refreshing to see more and more people going against this BS i myself checked out of modern gaming for quiete some time i mainly play older games nowadays games from the early 200's and some before that time. Because i cant stand what these activists have done to the gaming world and i refuse to give them any of my money id rather save up that money for something good like for example games like Stellar blade or Wukong or space marine or some of the gacha games i play but this BS i cant stand anymore.
Yep. I would rather just spend my money on snacks or downright shove it down the toilet. These people need to understand that while the few asslickers they have are loud as hell, the majority won't stand up for this shit. To, out of dozens of released a year, only get 1 or 2 good games should be punishable by death.
@@nuhre fully agreed you would think after 10+ years of making failure after failure and most of not all of those failures have DEI/Woke nonsense in it that they would put 1 and 1 together and figure out that maybe just maybe they should ditch those subjects and actualy look back at the games that are succesfull and ask themselfs why...? but their ego's wont allow it.
@@nuhre wel i dont blame them for doing so because in the beginning that actualy worked for them to some degree but after 10+ years people have woken up to the BS and they arent being it anymore. And now they are totaly confused ( with a surprise pikachu face) because they cant bully/shame/ use fear tactics to get them to buy their crap. So now they are in total panic mode and it couldnt have happened any sooner tbh.
@@diegogodet1889 They have used "cancel culture" as a weapon for so long that now that people don't give a fuck if they get canceled or not they are running around like headless chickens.
My idea for DA4. The inquisitor and her companions are on the search for Solas. The inquisitor romanced Solas in DA3. In the end of the game, she gets through to him but he’s trapped in the fade. Also, though he’s stopped his original plan, he is no longer welcome in the real world. So, like Origins where “my” character followed Morgan through the mirror, the inquisitor follows after Solas to find him in the fade. Foreshadowing for DA5. I tend to play as an elf male mage character but to fix this dumpster fire, this is what I’d want for DA4. Just like how you chase after Morgan in origins, you chase after Solas.
I just don't get what audience they are trying to appeal to, because Gen Z kids are notorious for only "enjoying" video games when watching them being played by someone else or in stupid tiktoks. Where is the money there? Even at nearly 30 I feel like many of my female peers that "like" video games don't even like to play them themselves, instead watching streamers or RUclipsrs. I guess they can definitely get these dingbats to buy merch- people seem to be insane over that garbage these days. That's the only angle I can think of since this isn't a mobile gacha game despite the UI looking that way. I've tried to talk about BG1&2 with other BG3 fans and they just stand their with their mouths hanging open bc they have no idea what I'm talking about. Same this with Origins vs. Veilguard- the people I see most excited for it have never touched Origins. Appealing to this popular audience is the death of RPGs. They should have stayed niche.
This game looks soooo fucking generic and I'm sure the actual plot is not devilering as well. I played DAO when it was already like maybe 4-5 years old and looked a bit dated, but I was really captivated by the lore and characters. This one right here really is...something. I guess if the plot is at least okay-ish I'll try to play it 5 years later when it's like 5-8 bucks on Steam.
I will also add that I agree with you on the sad married woman situation- Tumblr girls have grown up and now are adults with very unhealthy relationships to characters. I know a married woman who is over 40 who has spent over $15,000 on art and writing commissions of her male player character with Astarion. I know another who is 30 something who regularly ebegs for money because she can't pay her bills because she spends it all on erotic art commissions of some character from some game. It's repulsive and makes me completely detach from fandom entirely. Men do this too, though less openly, as I know a lot of dudes who spend $100s on hentai art of characters. Overall people have become way too chronically online to the point where every game needs to be a feel-good dating sim without any challenging concepts.
Nobody listened to the guys who were angry about all this. But I suspect people will listen to the angry women who feel the same thing. Just a thought.
It's insane. I play FFXIV on the PS5. I have 4...8...12...16...24....32! Thirty Two fckn buttons I can conceivably push just from face and LT / RT combos. This game has like 4 buttons.
It’s sad. It would appear I’m not only done with Assassins Creed, which I’ve been a fan of since its inception, but now Dragon Age, which I’ve ALSO been a fan of since Origins. I don’t care about “pronouns” or that you can adjust “bulge size”. I wanted a continuation of the story, what happens with Solas !? Maybe a few returning chapters or even a cameo or two. Updated graphics. But nope, DEI and ESG have gotten their twisted fingers into another beloved franchise. 🤦♂️
I lost interest the momment I found out they took out blood magic. It shows they have no balls, meaning your choices will only have superficial effects if any in the game. And they will not risk any of the darker contents because they don't want to be offensive.
No amount of hair physics can make up for how dirty they did the qunari. Nothing about this game looks like Dragon Age. More like they slapped some bottom tier fanfic onto a mobile game with all the glitterbomb explosions and lootbox animations on the chests. And they utterly destroyed the design of everything that used to be dark and gritty. Don't even get me started on that pixar excuse for a griffin. I'd rather replay Origins for the 25th time than whatever this abomination is.
They had a good idea on how to tackle the difference between races in DA2. While elves looked a bit silly, the Qunaris were the most stunning rendition of that race I've ever seen. Now they've made then totally human. Which just comes off as bizarre because they aren't. They are trying to make things aesthetically pleasing when DA has always been about grim, dark, blood and war.
The magic effects look like garbage, the combat looks like its taken out of a mobile game, this is the most "soft modern" feeling game ive ever seen. Whats more they took my favourite class blood mage out of the game, because it was too offensive. These people dont like playing games nor do they like the people who play games. Why are they in this industry. For anyone defending this drivel the like to dislike ratio on their every video speaks for itself. I hope this game sinks bioware so someone else can make a better Dragon Age.
So glad that I came across your channel. I agree with everything you're saying about this game and it's heartbreaking to see one of my favourite IP's being dragged through the mud. It seems like everything we love is being destroyed nowadays. The worst part is, a good chunk of the fanbase are loving it. Reading the Dragon Age subreddit makes my eyes bleed. People are gushing over the quality of hair styles while completely ignoring the terrible redesigns of demons and darkspawn. Most of the lore is probably being retconned and the combat looks like a basic version of every other "modern" game that is currently being released. Ultimate abilities in Dragon Age... what a joke. I'm terrified to see how they are going to ruin my queen Morrigan.
Morrigan's design is.... questionable to say the least. I'm afraid she's just going to be in the game to try to make it feel more like a DA game. But I seriously doubt she'll be used properly.
combat in this game looks like someone threw up all over it in particle effect. literally looks like they tried to cover up how bad the combat is with fukn glitter. there's fukn glitter all over every part of the UI it makes me feel sick looking at it.
Hold on.... look at 13:19, look at the line up and we have 3 queer guys, maybe the black elf a little more masculine so 1 dude, 2 queers, 2 masculine women and 1 generic asian Elf (because Elves now look like human races) and 1 feminine woman that has the worst outfits and design ever. The Qunari and the beard guy have a somewhat good design, all the rest looks like generic characters made by AI, or a 10 year old making comic book characters.
People are going to WAR for this game in the comments 😂 🤣 of the “preview video”(shill fest) do they think 1 like = 1 purchase to save this flop? Sad to see franchises water down and gay up their art directions like this but they’re about to learn really fast not to play with fandoms.
You can create black elves in origins too so that’s not the argument you think it is mate. Now the proper argument would be that a dude who thinks he is a she is talking about the game doesn’t really give a positive outlook to the game, a normal individual talking about it would’ve been better. People who think they are another gender are not well, they need asylums.
No, Neve isn't a quirky Merrill. She's a DA4 Morrigan who's now part of the machine (similar to a Vivienne)... and as Opposite World goes, she has the worst voice actor of the cast, an idiot outfit that- as many Morrigan haters try to claim- clearly wouldn't work in the wilds, and demonstrates pretension rather than genuine wit. Mind you, I can't stand Morrigan either due to her constant advocacy of evil idiocy, but the character was written so well by Gaider and voiced so well by Claudia Black, the gameplay insanity from her feels "in the game" rather than offputtingly immersion-breaking. I genuinely wanted to see where her character went in the franchise after DAO... unlike Neve who evokes for me that scene in "Braveheart" where the king asks, "Who is this person who thinks I need to hear them?" (Just before chucking the person out the window...) Bellara, however, is memorable to me more than the others. Yeah, she's quirky/cute/nerdy/whatever, and her proportions keep making me think she's a dwarf, but that's not why. It's because there's never been any such thing as a "veil jumper." It's an immediate WTF. It feels like a fail just to use such a phrase. I've been corrected by those familiar w a recent DA short-story collection by the new lead writer Weekes that introduced "veil jumpers" and other lame faction imaginings within the DAverse as now part of canon. They didn't bring them in through a game development. No, they just invented them as a quirky/cut/nerdy/whatever "faction" and shoehorned them into their new game installment. I mean, "jumping" the Veil? Even in DA4 you see footage where Solas gets forced back into the Fade- trapped the way powerful Evanuris god-wannabes got trapped. Solas prior to that is able to communicate w spirits in the Fade while in "reality," so does that count as " veil jumping"? Bellara's initial trailer intro involved "jumping" away from tentacles trying to grab her (and succeeding) while she grins like an idiot. So when we dodge away from Fade creatures, does that make us "veil jumpers" too? Or the eyebrow-raising character of Cole who supposedly came out of the Fade as a formed person rather than "cohabiting" a "reality" person or physically reworking them. Is Cole a "veil jumper" if he came out of there? Are all the big doggy rage demons and flashy floating dresses emerging from Veil "tears" in DA4 also considered "veil jumpers"? So WTF is Bellara or a "veil jumper" protagonist? We see in footage that your "Skyhold" in DA4 is in Solas' private Fade domain, so apparently we're all "veil jumpers" due to Eluvians. That was easy! Supposedly "veil jumpers" are a group that uses ancient elven relics to fight demons. So... demon hunters. So... they don't "jump" the Veil at all, but rather ordinarily try to stamp out anything that does. More Opposite World in effect. But then you look at the artwork in DA4... Remember how the Fade used to be special and was the only "place" where gravity seemed somewhat more of a choice than a principle, rock-like structures floating about, dreamlike settings oddly found amidst the unreal landscape w the Black City floating in the distance? Well, no matter because now in Tevinter there's a huge floating government complex thingy right there in "reality" that shoots red laser balls at Veil tears... to... do what? Look cringy in the background... And bright, flashy dress "demons" come at you floating as if still in the Fade rather than being grotesque emotion-monsters invading reality on decrepit limbs as they've been up to now (other than maybe the despair demons in DAI). It's what fuels the imagination in considering what a transition between dream and reality would look like. Hell, even your bladework as a rogue in DA4 is constant magic flash despite that in DA lore, magic is supposed to be only exhibited by a particular sensitivity to the Fade... able even unwittingly in dreams to breach the Veil and consort w spirits/demons... identifiable as individuals to be sent to a Circle to supposedly protect society from that vulnerability... The Fade and Veil used to mean something... Now we face the Fade/reality barrier w an idiot grin and, like Nancy in "Groundhog Day", we just say... "Whatever!" Even "veil jumper" Bellara's bow is comprised of components that float in the air while in the supposed real world. It's all so well-thought-out from clear lore afficionados of the franchise. But it's also why Bellara stands out for me as the most quintessential example of the sweeping, amateurish artistic decision-making behind this version of DA.
@@nuhre that's what a good game does , it had it's fair share of woke aspects BUT it wasn't shoved in our faces and it respected us enough as players to give us the power of choice which 99.9% of the industry hates doing , Dragon age and bioware are done especially in a post BG 3 world
I really wanted to give this game an honest go. But the more they show, the more I REALLY don’t like what I’m seeing. Not only have they done a poor job on the characters design, but they’ve also dumbed down their personalities. They’ve also made a LOT of assumptions when creating the characters, like assuming we think of necromancers as “evil” or even just “bad” they assume most if not ALL of those who will be BUYING this game are only interested in the romance option. Just… 🤦♂️ I’ll try to say something positive to close this out though…… the backgrounds look ok ? Not what I personally imagined or expected, but it’s not as bad as the characters.
If you like the scenarios play Baldur’s Gate 3 for fantasy or Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 for dark dystopian Sci fi. This is just the bare fucking minimum.
I feel the same, I wanted to try it at least, but every new thing that they show about this game makes me want to just take a hammer, destroy my computer and quit gaming.
3:25 to be fair part of it just your age, when you were a kid a firetruck was exciting to see, and if sirens and lights were on... well, its just indescribable feeling, impossible to put into words. But sure, it cant be all just cause of age difference.
Market / corporate dictates say it has to be for a console controller. That sets the design parameters and who can make an RPG like that? Hence we also get 'action' over tactics, choice, subtlety etc? On that though, I watch the enemy "AI" (including in slowmo) and it looks dreadful. So the 'action' doesn't even look up to snuff. The enemies barely do anything at all, often just doing nothing (or being hit/staggered) and have overly long, non-interruptible attack routines. The player skips out of the way and the AI has to continue playing through its animation loop. How many repeated, identical animations must we endure?! None of the enemies (or your companions) come close to conveying they are alive, even in combat. Difficult to do but it's all mediocre/bad here. It all looks so repetitive and uninteresting, a super simple button mash disguised with candy-store fireworks. Oh, and no verticality or use of environment in any of the combat shown. None of the environments shown suggest they've been designed as integral part of the combat mechanics. At one stage Neve (?) says "Hitting us from range!" Yes, because the player moved to the far extent of the 'arena', next to Neve (a few metres away), whilst the enemies fired at them - at a range of 10 metres! lol So 10m is 'at range' in this game? lol. There isn't any range in the game. It's almost like Doom1. What a horror Vileguard is. The hair is only in the cutscenes? Otherwise it looks pretty regular computer hair.
The fact that they are acting like they have just invented the most revolutionary piece of gameplay ever makes me want to hurt people. And the hair doesn't match the fucking rest of the character design. They characters look like cosplayers with shiny, plastic wigs and too much botox.
Looking at some of the wording when describing the world and some gameplay decisions along with the UI and that chest opening animation it seems to me that this was probably supposed to be live service or at least co-op early on in the lifecycle and they got rid of some of it and decided to just give some stupid reason for the others.
IT WAS! It's so obvious this game changed hands and genres more often than women change underwear. It was supposed to be live service but they knew it wouldn't be received well so they didn't commit to it.
Your edgelord ass is hilarious! Yrs i also remember going to.gamestop and buying finished gsmes. These dei developers are not creative because they are bound by DEI. Which cripples any story because we gotta have inclusivity(sarcasm implied) Taking away blood magic is bullshit. I rill not stop yelling about that I hate myself to lol and eill plsy it
I've read through some comments of specific content creators. What I've noticed is that there are a lot of people just thirsting over characters "oh my gosh he's so cute". While that isn't something new in particular I realised it's the only thing most of these people talk about. I rarely see mentioning of gameplay or anything else.
Why the fuck does BioWare not just make dragon age origins remastered or a version of dragon age that is just origins with additional stuff. I feel like they are afraid of trying to remake the best game in the series. Don't get me wrong I like the story of two and three and I'm hoping the story of four is going to at least be okay. But gameplay wise I do not like any of the games that came after origin. Origin felt like a real RPG. Even after all of these years I have still been going back and playing it again. Not only that but the player character in origins is just objectively better than the rest that came after. Because you feel like you actually have some kind of actual importance over the story and that your character matters. I don't like how people have made it seem like you're playing a chosen one grey warden when really you are told throughout the game you are not the chosen one you just happened to fit what they need but there are other people who can fulfill the role. However despite that you still have the chance to carve your name into the annals of history. It felt like a great story of a character who went from being either a complete nobody or a somebody who lost everything to becoming something beyond what they could have ever achieved possible beforehand. The only thing that has really saved the previous two dragon age games for me has always been the companions and the story. The story of dragon age 3 was kind of mid as fuck, but it had some of the best companions in the series. But the gameplay was the worst in the series. It felt like playing a single player MMO with limited character customization and build potential. Dragon age 2 for all of its faults was a superior game to dragon age 3 in my personal opinion. Because the story was good, the companions were great, and the gameplay was okay. Hawke's story felt like a genuine story of a person who started off in the worst position of their life and built themselves up over the course of 5 to 10 years but in the process depending on your actions could have lost everything. But nothing can come close to origins. If you play the game right and you and did everything that you were supposed to you could have a max level character with four specializations with close to 60 abilities depending on what class and build did you chose. My elven mage hero of ferelden was an arcane warrior, battle mage, keeper, and spirit healer. By the time I finished the entire game my character was essentially a walking God amongst men. I literally built a mage who was a dual sword wielding heavy armor wearing tank who could not be killed. And that's beside the fact that I can drop like three spells on a group of enemies and wipe out an entire encounter by myself before any of my allies could even help. Origins was great and they really just need to do that with more abilities more build flexibility more interesting everything. They keep changing so much about dragon age that it's no longer appealing to anybody who like to dragon age.
honestly, the only time I was ever impressed by hair physics, was that one technical trailer for Final Fantasy 15. from about a decade ago. and that still looked better than this.
The only instance where being impressed about hair physics is understandable. Making a game look good is not hard these days. It's making a good game which seems to elude them.
jfc here she is again let me do this IGN interview because its all about me!! let me say lots of words on this set that is covered in purple vomit!! let me tell you how much I identify with the character everybody hates!!
So it's a Pantene hair commercial that includes Bioware parading a poor attempt of having a nightmare inducing hentai baby of Path of Exile skill tree paired with Hogrwarts Legacy skill toolbar. Because those two separately actually work great and are made by people who put effort and thought into their game, so smash the Wish versions of those together like puzzle pieces that don't fit. But it still boils down to 4 spells you'll be using, because once in battle - you'll use what you're given, scrub, git good! Bioware is too busy hissing at the idea of having to put in heterosexual characters, especially if they're white and male. *sigh* *turns on Hogwarts Legacy*
Beautifully put. They can't be bothered to make actual game mechanics that work, so they just steal from games that are factually better in every way and hope no one will notice. After all, people ain't playing for the story or gameplay anyway. They are here for the hair physics, character creator and sex scenes.
@@nuhre Porn has all of the hair physics and sex scenes you could want, and you can even be the main character in it if you wish and, in fact, has better story and narrative, it seems. But no, they had to ruin one of the most political, hard hitting and narratively condense worlds that press on not just politics, but complex faith issues including separation of state and church. I hate what woke-ism and corporate greed are doing to our favourite game universes. I might pen a letter to Larian begging they take over, even if it costs me a kidney.
It's like they started this game as a mobile game, then saw diablo immortal fail, so they were like nah, then they saw POE succeed so they starting going that way, but then they were like hey fortnite is making a lot of money so make it like fortnite and then they were like hey that new God of War game was very famous why don't we change our combat to match that, and then they were like oh hey look this game had a lot of gore and people on Twitter didn't like it so let's take out all the gore and the more darker content and finally they shat out this. Whatever this is.
Wow Are women always like this in secret or are you the only one who's this bold and weirdly funny XD ~ man I enjoyed Stoic serious rant with no laughter or a smile lol
You dont remember playing a bad game cause when youre a kid you cant afford every game so you plough through and have fun or see on the bright side whether it was good or not, it was good enough. Im a nes kid, there were always bad games and trust me a shit ton of bad ps2 games
My brother is 8 years older than me and who introduced me to gaming. Trust me, your girl was playing titles for PS2, PSP, PS3, XBOX360 and PC. I know my shit.
Is that a moble game hud doing in a dragon age game? Looks like it. 3 skills and a ulitmate, that sounds like a moba game or something. Are they shiting me? Remeber DAO, where you can just drag out the tool bar over your whole screen and place every single skill your character had, plus all the crafing and the pots. the skill tree looks bigger but less in it some how.
Divisive political propaganda gives a small number of people money at the cost of long term social division and cultural destruction. Sweet Baby Inc no doubt made bank but at the cost of several franchises and for what?
@@nuhre naw see what they did with the 5 different types of balds in the name of "hairstyles" in inquisition and from that they literally had to lower the fandom's standards SO MUCH to which most of them feel BLESSED when they saw new freakin normal ass hairs in veilguard 💀

The love for Corinne is so funny to watch 💀💀💀 I really hope you wrong and DATV become the best rpg of all, but girl... It's not giving, after the monkey game I think the devs set themselves to failure. Not talking that this game really look like a generic mmo rpg or even worse than mobile games(Genshin and WuWa have better action combat and more options of build and skills), but yeah let's give the simmer a FUCKING GAME. I really like Neve and Harding, I think they really are beautiful and the most perfected in the game(since they are not Corinne aberrations), but still I think the devs will make a caricature of what they could be, kinda glad they didn't put my girl Maevaris as a companion.
Who decided to put a Sims developer at the head of an RPG? It's like they wanted this fucking game to fail to be honest. I am glad you like some of the characters. I can't say the same. They just feel... empty, compared to other companions from other installments. Which sucks for the characters because I feel like if this game had been in other hands, they could've actually been interesting.
@@nuhre I think in the hands of someone with experience in rpgs this game could have been so much better in all aspects, but yeah, In a team of more than 100 heads they choose the simmer...
Give it a rest. If you don’t want to play the game, don’t play it. There is an enormous fandom looking forward to a character-focused game that doesn’t give a flip about your nit-picking. Find another game to play.
Welp. The only thing I don't like about this game is the qunari design. The game is handled by a very cool cast of writers, so I'm absolutely sure that the story will be good and I'm not particularly worried about changes in the combat system. ...and yes, I am very happy about the physics of hair.
@@nuhre I'm not even on reddit.… If you look closely, almost the entire staff of the writers of the old BioWare remained in the team. Geider left a long time ago, but ironically, Origins fans disliked the games in the series back when he was in charge. Mary Kirby was fired only after the end of active development, which is a shame, but the writers had already finished working on the game by that time. Weekes performed admirably in Trespasser as a senior writer (you can disagree with that, but it always seemed to me that this was a dlc level better than the main game lol). I don't see the potential for bad writing 🤷♀️

I don't know who you are but you are fantastic. You say out loud what I think every time they release more info on the game.
Exactly. Why would I play this when I can play any other Dragon Age?
one of the greatest dark fantasy series, that introduced demons that possesses you for fun and mutate you into a cancerous looking humanoid that has darkspawn literal spawns of darkness that gr..pe women feed them blood and flesh to turn them into broodmothers that give birth to more darkspawn that has human/elf sacrifices from other humans or elves for blood magic.... is going out with a whimper
That mission in the Deep Roads with Branka and the Brood Mother had me shitting myself when I played it the first time.
And now... they give us this.
Don't forget they turned a race of people (the Qunari) that are very strict with gender roles, men go out to explore and war and women stay back and nurture the children, Into stupid genderless reject tieflings.

They must be drooling over Crimson Desert since you can pick up the cats and dogs and cuddle them, but of course none of them want to look at anything better than veil guard, or if they did they'd just complain that the combat is too hard.
Each new level grants more hair length
Nah.
Hehe the whole “hair thing” reminds me of TressFX. Remember that, people?

How dull is this game that they’re hyping game mechanics we’ve seen for 25 years as if they’re groundbreaking?

Looking forward to Veilguard. A GOTY contender I think.

I couldn't agree more. I wish we could go back to the days where no one knew about Origins. Maybe we would've had a chance back then.
Ah yes this game will be marinating in the camode of steam like a stubborn shit stain that refuses to go away.
People need to touch grass for real.
And if we gona say about apearence of characters... Origins characters original apearence of Hero and NPC looks more atractive/sexual/realistic
Nobody listened to the guys who were angry about all this. But I suspect people will listen to the angry women who feel the same thing. Just a thought.
Nah. They call me a pick me, claim I've never played a DA game or that I'm being paid to criticize the game.

I really dont like that this is the 3rd time bioware is changing the horned people race, in origin they were just tall people
They are incapable of coming up with new IPs so they can only ruin old ones. I hope Bioware goes bankrupt.
I lost interest the momment I found out they took out blood magic. It shows they have no balls, meaning your choices will only have superficial effects if any in the game. And they will not risk any of the darker contents because they don't want to be offensive.
im a big dragon age fan and i loved your rant!!
I am a big fan too. That's why I am so upset.
@@Mardark-e4s They are afraid to offend sensibilities. DA used to be dark. Now it's this shit. Very sad to see it go down like this.
They think the "fandom" is the one sucking their dick and wetting themselves over hair physics. They are about to learn the hard way.
DEI elves. GG bro!
And tbf to the people going crazy over the hair in this game it was notoriously known to be trash in Inquisition
People just want to play the character creator. That's it.
You should take Bioware's cock out of your mouth before you say thay, bestie.

finally found your channel this needs to be said real talk go off!
I genuinely wanted to see where her character went in the franchise after DAO... unlike Neve who evokes for me that scene in "Braveheart" where the king asks, "Who is this person who thinks I need to hear them?" (Just before chucking the person out the window...)
Bellara, however, is memorable to me more than the others.
"Whatever!"
Even "veil jumper" Bellara's bow is comprised of components that float in the air while in the supposed real world. It's all so well-thought-out from clear lore afficionados of the franchise. But it's also why Bellara stands out for me as the most quintessential example of the sweeping, amateurish artistic decision-making behind this version of DA.

I really wanted to give this game an honest go. But the more they show, the more I REALLY don’t like what I’m seeing. Not only have they done a poor job on the characters design, but they’ve also dumbed down their personalities. Just… 🤦♂️
I’ll try to say something positive to close this out though…… the backgrounds look ok ? Not what I personally imagined or expected, but it’s not as bad as the characters.

I feel the same, I wanted to try it at least, but every new thing that they show about this game makes me want to just take a hammer, destroy my computer and quit gaming.
@@thallesmedeiros8841 Don't give them the satisfaction. Just use your PC to play DAO.
Which cripples any story because we gotta have inclusivity(sarcasm implied)
Taking away blood magic is bullshit. I rill not stop yelling about that
I hate myself to lol and eill plsy it
I've read through some comments of specific content creators. What I've noticed is that there are a lot of people just thirsting over characters "oh my gosh he's so cute". While that isn't something new in particular I realised it's the only thing most of these people talk about. I rarely see mentioning of gameplay or anything else.
You ain't going to find those comments here...
@@nuhre I've realized that. Just recently got you recommended. We will watch your career with great interest.
If they had put all the money, time and effort into a CRPG remake of Origins, they would've drowned in money.
I'll buy this game when it gets a mod that lets me use the character creator on the companions & npc's as well. Including that insipid griffon.
Not even all the mods in this world could make this game decent. Also an EA game handling mods correctly? That will be the day.
i tried my best to make a good female char with mods on inquisition, i gave up,... ended up playing a male char instead 😂😂
at least dragon age 4 is successful in one thing and that is being on lime light , i didnt even expect that
They are really going for the "bad publicity is still publicity" I guess. Let's see how well that works for them.

thanks for speaking out loud of my dissapointment to this game..... waking up to "this" is really make me a hater
You can be a hater here. Better than going "OMG, THE HAIR LOOKS SO GOOD. THE TEN YEAR WAIT WAS SOOOO WORTH IT."
@@nuhre this game is easy 10/10 written in the forehead of the qunnari decorated with the 0 gravity hairflow
honestly, the only time I was ever impressed by hair physics, was that one technical trailer for Final Fantasy 15. from about a decade ago. and that still looked better than this.
She relates to the other alphabet person IRL who plays the asian elf 😂 no kidding? Wild.
@GreenFoxyMango In Larian we trust. I'm really looking forward to their newest IP. I trust they can take on an RPG project and actually deliver.
@Mardark-e4s There's no fixed theme with this game and that's why it fails miserably to be good at anything.

The love for Corinne is so funny to watch 💀💀💀
I really hope you wrong and DATV become the best rpg of all, but girl...
It's okay to admit you have no taste, Kelly. This is a safe space.

Welp. The only thing I don't like about this game is the qunari design. The game is handled by a very cool cast of writers, so I'm absolutely sure that the story will be good and I'm not particularly worried about changes in the combat system.
...and yes, I am very happy about the physics of hair.
You should go back to Reddit. These bad takes are not welcomed here.
