- In this video, I show you how my Kahr MK9 looks before and after I install the factory wood grips. Sorry about the light flashing, forgot to turn that off on my phone before recording. It is recorded using my now dated Galaxy S3, so hopeful the quality is at least tolerable. Thanks in advance for watching.

wow the grips really make that gun beautiful
Very pretty piece of machinery!
Beautiful gun.
Very nice !
I switched from a Glock 27 gen 4 to a Kahr K9. Not going back.
Goodjob
Seems like if you did a little sanding you could get the bottom halves to meet closer.
Yup. That gap would drive me bananas. How is that acceptable?
Classy
New screws needed, so the wooden grips make the pistol fatter? Wish you would have shown the size difference between the original grips and the wooden ones.
Are the wood grips much wider then the plastic ones ? Does it feel better with the wood grips?
This is a good size gun & good Quailty, but its slippery as a fish. Have you ever looked into checkering the front strap?
Thanks for the video . Its been a few years , are you still happy with the gun & grip ?
The factory grips aren't "slippery" imho. Yes, the wood grips are fatter. I prefer the G10 grips.
Beautiful. Looks like a BBQ gun.
Wipe on down with silicone cloth that rust is hip sweat from a right hand carry guy
A g26 is a log compared to the mk9
Do you still have this firearm?
No I do not. Only Kahr I have left is a pair of P380s. Daily carry is now a glock 43, this one was just too heavy to carry regularly. Beautiful to look at, but I'm not a collector :) Thanks for the comment!
@@harrellshomesteadwoodworks there's one at my local pawn shop rn. Thinking about picking it up this weekend, I like Kahr pistols.
How much did you pay?
80sDon Grips were $50 from Kahr + Shipping (if I remember correctly) and I got the gun under $500.
It’s not surface rust on the frame. Stainless steel does not rust.
Sorry but it does rust have worked with stainless for years
Stainless is just rust resistant, it’s not like it can never rust.
