- In this Mastering Warhammer 40k series, we are going to take a look at why you could possibly be losing games before turn one. If you are a beginner in Warhammer 40k or are looking at improving your game in competitive play, this will be a great watch! We will be going over how to develop a good game plan fast, depending on the matchup.
Just came back to the hobby after not playing since I was a kid. Been re learning everything again. All knowledge on how to play and anything along those lines I have been trying to soak up before playing again. Much appreciated definitely a sub from me
Welcome back, glad you enjoyed the video!
This was a really good video. I always hold my reserves for secondary scoring, and its been to my detroment. Watching how you used your single destroyers in your last video and then hearing you explain your screening strategy has really helped me. Thanks man.
No problem, glad you are here!
Only channel I’ve religiously kept up with the scheduled uploads for. Amazing work as always!
Man really appreciate it!
Necrons over in the corner laughing at your deployment phase...
Good info and love the format. You're doing good work here.
Thanks for being here!
New warhammer player here and been enjoying your videos so far.
Thanks for being here
Great video! Keep em coming!!
Blood Angles have fly all over so the walks don't scare them
Still have to pay the movement to go over the walls
Love the vids. Make a discord for your channel/ viewers. Be great to talk with like minded necron players
Thanks, I have been thinking about it!
Would you consider Daemons (using Daemonic Incursion detachment with multiple greater daemons) a melee army or an uppy-downy army?
I would consider an up/down army
Thanks for the movie. I m Votann and i ve difficulties against Eldars.
What program are you using for your display because this would be really handy for setting up strats
I do almost the same exact thing in PowerPoint lol 🥴 you can easily click and drag around icons you want. Draw lines for LOS visibility. Ez pz

What is msu? Minimum size unit?
Bingo!
Would you consider playing MSU Necrons into WE? For example, instead of 10 immortals with a plasmancer, two squads of 5 with plasmancers - given you’re almost never going to get any value from reanimation against them.
That extra 65 points for another cryptek would be better used as 5 deathmarks, hell I would use 5 deathmarks over 5 immortals with a cryptek anyday. Better range, damage, and same durability for 5 points cheaper.
@@danjones3012 you say that but plasmancers actually carry their own weight into marines. On average, a plasmancer should kill 2 berzerkers per round (between his shooting and ability). That's actually as many as 10 immortals will kill, on average without any stratagems or Szeras nearby. Deathmarks shooting is not very good. Very, very swingy because on average, you will only land a single shot from the 5 deathmarks between misses, missed wounds, saves etc. You could land 5 shots and get 5 kills but most of the time you'll get between 0 and 1.
@@Rich-in6ds bs/ws 4+. T4 4+ save no invuln and 4 wounds. Also 18" range. The plasma ability might get you a few mortals but dont bank on his shooting or melee to go solo some space marine unit.
Deathmarks bs/ws 3+ t5 3+ save 5 wounds, 36" range.
Really nice video as usual, really helpfull
I'm from France, and we play differently with walls and combat :
If you are 1' behind a wall, the ennemy can still charge you, if there is not enough space, we line up behind but we consider it base to base
Yea that one WTC rule would flip my world upside down lol
What is MSU?
Many small units.
Minimum Sized Units
Living in the PNW as well, good to see some locals content! also not sure if you know about this channel but his from the PNW too www.youtube.com/@DaRedWunzGoFasta , love supporting local! and i love the broad concept, ive been having issue as a Tau player my self with Melee focused armies. wish they would return to original deployment/table sizes 😜
Yea any shooty army, has a fairly rough time in this matchup. Melee aggro causes the biggest problems
@@PNW40K I think if there was less terrain, and a few more firing lanes, it would level things out a tad, would make deploying your Melee and Shooting armies even more tactical imo.
Prepare yourself for the fgs at a tournament. The constant trying to cheat hoping it won't be called out. The cheese lists because they can. Not about fun about some win that to them means everything.
What does MSU style army mean? “Many small units?”
Boom you got it!
