    Enjoy your show well done. I love my FITECH best thing i ever did for my motor. I decided to add methanol injection, would like to know if i could use the nitrous set up for my methanol solenoid? Thanks Bill

      People have setup the nitrous controls for methanol injection before!

    Just making sure I'm doing this right. Red to 86 and 87 to the nitrous solenoids and then to ground ?

    So how do you arm the system to turn it on and off and what is the test light connected to would it be connected to the solenoids?

    • @FiTechEFImedia
      @FiTechEFImedia  2 года назад

      The WHITE wire on the power adder harness is the arming signal. When the wire is supplied 12 volts the nitrous circuit is armed. The TAN wire is the trigger circuit which is hooked to the test light. This wire grounds to turn on relays which should be used to turn the solenoids on.

    This unit is an outstanding tool, I've not installed mine yet but have researched a little and have read the comments from users, some love it and some hate it and I believe the ones who dont like it are the ones who dont know how to adjust or use it correctly, some cant understand that it takes time for the system to learn and adjust accordingly, it's not the fi tech it's the person who hasn't schooled or researched the how to adjust or use this. I'm no expert with it but have determined this is by far so advanced over a carburetor. I'm going to learn the how to and make videos and advertise this system to my customers at my shop and on the race guys also, they will really all want this after I present to them!!!! Thanks for the video

    Are all fitech systems able to control nitrous? If not can they be made to by adding a pin to the connector and flash update? I will be using a wet kit with a 30002

      Only Poweradder systems will control nitrous.

    Can the efi8 fi tech control the ramp or can be progressed?

    What would cause my handheld to say you not responding the unit seems to power up I can hear my relays clicking off and on I have power on both sides of fuse block but I also do not hear my fuel pump turning on

    • @FiTechEFImedia
      @FiTechEFImedia  3 года назад

      If the relays are clicking on and off that would be a sign that there is a loose connection on either the battery wire or grounding of the system.

    Ok. Got a tricky one for ya. I’m running the 600hp power adder setup on a LS motor with a msd 6012 box. Bought the system before the ultimate LS came out.... The setup runs fine! But I’m unsure on how to wire up the nitrous. I understand the white and tan wire, my question is this: The 6012 box has a built in 2 step and timing retard. To get the motor to run I had to connect the 6012 tach output to the tach wire on the fitech. The directions state not to use the fitech tach wire if timing control is used... it says to use the black coil wire... should I just let the 6012 box control the timing? I’m kinda stumped

      Since you are using our 600 hp power adder system on a LS application you will need to use the tach output from the box to the tach signal wire from the FiTech. This because the unit on a LS will not control timing. That will be done through the 6012 mad box.
