Awww thank you so much Kim! It’s been such a long journey getting my hair how I like it 😆 Yasss ofc I’ll add that to the list of videos that I need to film 😌
Hey! Loved your video 🥰 Quick question sorry if it’s silly but do you write down your patient history cases whilst you’re with the patient or do you memorise it all and write it down at like the end of the day? And yeah I guess it also ties in, but do you carry your iPad around with you in the wards?
Heyy, so glad you loved it!! 😆 I write down the patient case after I have seen the patient. This helps me practice history taking and summarising for exams. It helps me collect my thoughts, think about next steps and a management plan as well before I present to a senior in the team. Due to the time we're currently in I'm scared of my iPad being a bit of an infection risk. So atm I don't carry it around but usually I would for sure! Hope this helps ☺️
Super energy omg
thanks youu 🥰🥰
I love your videos so much!! I am yet to firm imperial for medicine but I was just wondering how costly it is to live there/transport to and from placements!
omg thank you!! living out is expensive with any london university however halls in first year are subsidised by quite a bit and also imperial have an incredible bursary scheme too! when you do start placements in the later years transport to and from placements really depends on your placements. For example if you live in hammersmith (like most students do) Charing Cross hospital is a short walk whereas hospital like northwick park will require a travel card. Also, for the further out hospitals many students drive so you can all always carpool :) I hope this helps
Hello, I'm in 5th years too, nice to meet you
Heyyy! Nice to meet you too!! What university are you at?? ☺️
I'm starting medicine in September and I am also currently interested in public health. Ik this could change during the mannnyy years at med school with exposure to different specialties. Even so, what kind of extra curriculars did u do relating to public health? Also congratulations on your graduation. Thanks
Firstly, Congratulations!! Good luck for starting September. So, I joined this public health think tank known as Polygeia which looks at various global health issues - It's a really great experience would highly recommend. I hope this helps!! Thanks for watching :D
@@simranhalari Thank you for the info!

Please Please please make a video on this 🙏🙏 😭.I am dying to know.Sorry for being so melodramatic lol😂.
It would be okay even if you just replied to this in the comments but then the answer would be too long ...
heyyy! I was born in India and my parents moved here when I was quite young (2 years old). so I applied to study medicine as a home UK student. I’m soon releasing a video about my costs at university. I will also be making a video on my journey!! thank you so much for watching ☺️☺️
Nice vid
thanks!!
hey, what app is it that you use to fill in your cases etc ?
Aniza Asad Heyy, I use notability! I would highly recommend ☺️☺️
Hi! I just wanted to ask how many years of studies does it take to become a doctor, like a specialist or smth?
so it takes 5/6 years of studying depending on what university you go to and then 2 years as foundation year doctors. After this time you can specialise in a certain field this can range from 3 years to 7/8 years depending on what specialty ☺️
Hy there, I want to do mbbs in uk after my 12th. Please guide.
Can u pls help me cause even i want a pursue mbbs in the uk but with scolarship cause i am from a middleclass family but i really want to pursue abroad and also can u pls tell me how to do it
Hey loved your video 💗
Can you guide me how to get into a med school... I'm from India and I wish to join Kingston University
Hey Simran! Hope you're doing great. I wanna ask you whether is it possible to transfer from med school in Pakistan to the med school (like imperial or kings college) in the UK? Currently, I m a first-year medical student in Pakistan and wanna move to the UK even during my MBBS. And btw I love your vlogs and videos💖✨
Nah!
Hi @Simran, my brothers wants to study medicine in UK. Currently he is completing his ALEVEL his exams end this June.He will be applying this October 2021 for medicine, as medicine intake I heard is once a year , he would probably start classes from next year Semptember. Thus he will have a year gap in between. He is bright student with all A*. However, we are worried if this gap reduces the chances of acceptance for medical school.
Please let me know soon, I would appreciate your respond about this matter

Hi
heyy! thank you so much for watching ☺️
I am an indian and I want to study mbbs in uk what are the procedures . Pls reply
Hey! I’m in my final year doing the MBBS degree, I’m a home UK student so the process would have been a bit different ☺️ here’s a link to how I got into medical school ruclips.net/video/JSfU5_XnUKo/видео.html
Did you get any scholarships?
She is UK resident sis!
5th year! Omg wow!! I really want to be a children’s paediatric nurse!!! I have to choose my GCSE’s and job this year! So early I’m only 12!!!!!!!!! 😩
Good luck!! I know it's crazy how early we have to pick what subjects we want to study. I think my only advice would be to pick something you really enjoy studying because it will make your life much easier ☺️
How much is 5 years of medical school ?
so it really depends if you’re international, eu or home student. I’m a home student and it’s 9,250 pounds for the first 3 years (or 4 years if you intercalated) and then the NHS pays for the last 2 years of medical school 😊
@@simranhalari thank u sm
I'm actually thinking to go to imperial
Hey is the plab something we have to take Im so confused or is it only for international doctors who wanna come in the uk
Heyy! I'm not well versed in this area as I am a home student. However, from speaking to international doctors who come to the UK after doing their medical school/parts of their training abroad. They have to do the PLAB but for home students (those going to medical school in the UK) don't have to do this exam!
Hi sister I'm a medical student from srilanka
