VW Amarok with a BMW Straight 6 engine swap

- The VW Amarok is normally used a commercial vehicle for business or as leisure buyers to get to far out of the way locations on holiday. But this Amarok is a little different as the owner wanted more speed from his diesel bakkie.
Werner decided that the best way to do that was to swap out the original engine with the 3-litre straight-six from a BMW 330d. Enter 295kW and 900Nm of torque! Check out the video of everything Werner has done to make this incredible build.

M57 is simply too legendary of an engine machinery masterpiece, it's the diesel version of a 2JZ

N57 engine actually continued to the f30 330d with updates and didn't stop with the e90. Only when the introduce the G20 340d is when they ditched the N57 for the new B57
I believe this is powered by the M57 6 pot not the ''N57''
@tyrrelevans7703 that could be true cause the engine didn't really look like an N57 but that's cause we didn't see under the engine cover, but it could be I misheard when he said M57 for N57

Very tuner friendly, add some 535d fuel system into the mix and go far and beyond🎉
Diesel tuning is very wide bro and options are endless, I personally prefer diesel than gas.

Great setup, but nothing new. Guys in Poland and neighboring countries have been swopping these engines for 10 years now. Either way, good work done. 4x4 can be done and it can still be rear wheel drive. It just wont be "4-motion".
V6 Amarok uses a Audi V6 Tdi engine anyway
