- We took a trip to Lenasia South to visit Zeetech auto who run a workshop specializing in all makes of cars. They reveal to us what it costs to do a premium VR6 or R32 conversion in South Africa and they also show us some of the cars that their shop is working on.

I'm glad you cleared up the confusion about the "R32 engine" and original VR6 engine. Yes, both engines are the same staggered 6-cylinder configuration, but the one is a 3.2-litre 24 valve, and the other a 2.8-litre 12 valve. Although there are 24 valve 2.8L versions that came in the Passat. And obviously the 2.9L 12 valve that mostly came in the Corrado.

24v 2.8 VR6 also came in the 2002.5-2005 mk4 GTI VR6.

Their workshop is so clean and organized, you could eat off the floor! But we don't recommend it, we prefer using it for building awesome projects at @Zeetech.

Howsit buddy we do not have a dyno to properly tune for you. how ever we can map it to start and drive to the dyno and we will refer you to our dyno tech

So the 2008 audi 3.2L V6 is the same as an R32 and VR6 engine? Because I've seen most vura owners have that type of engine especially on the OBD 2 vuras.
Yes they are the same apart from the head work and the number of valves.

You don't have to remove motor to change the water pump on a 2.8 vr6
That's a great tip! It can save a lot of time and effort for those working on a 2.8 vr6 engine.

I got blue mazad 323 1.3 light blue
vr6 is 10.5/15 degrees, Porsche Cayenne came with a 3.2 not a 3.6. 3.6 was the passat.

3.2 vr6 don't like boost with out changing internals
Boosting a 3.2 vr6 without changing internals? That's like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. It's possible, but it might not end well. Consider upgrading the internals for better performance and reliability.

25:25 Mand is lying @SkidMarks its a 10.5 degree angle on the earlier models and then 15 degrees on the R32 and R36
Howsit buddy when we build forged motors we change the entire dimension of the engine from bore size to stroke so everything changes as per your standard motor
