- I finally did it, I completed a successful mod of a #gshock GW-M5610MD watch. This mod worked out so much better than the last one, and I am proud to say I have a successful mod to wear on the wrist, and it looks pretty good too!

I have actually contacted the seller, asked about Titanium geniuses and ask for photos of specific option I want to get - he was very kind to provide all the answers. Weight mentioned on the listing also seems legit, buuuuut, there is a chance that Aluminium alloy will wait similarly as titanium, but will not be as durable. There is a way to check if its real titanium with handing magnet, as Aluminium, while its seems not reacting to magnet, it still has a magnetic field and will interact with handing magnet, while Titanium will not. So I will first order the mod kit, will wait for it, will confirm it is actual titanium, not Aluminium, and only then will purchase GW-5000U-1ER which I want to make Titanium mod of.
That is some serious research mate, and would love to know how you go. Things are sometimes a bit iffy I guess on the details, but so far the look and the weight is pretty decent, I have gotten both a stainless steel one and one that is specified as Titatinium, and you can definitely tell the difference in weight. I guess I give them the benefit of the doubt.
@@TheGShockWatcher Yep, I will drop update here once I get the kit. I guess it will take some time (maybe month or two) until I will complete the build, as I really want to make it with screwback module - it should match up very nicely. Anyway, don't want to rush it, as after titanium there will be only carbon left... And there are no mod kits for carbon yet :D

o man!! you found actual titanium? I looked through aliexpress and most which says "titanium" actually are stainless steel in actual material description. But this one says Titanium. Price is hefty but did you check it really Titanium? Like magnets etc? weight? I am super curious. I wanted to get original Casio Titanium, but they are either non available or too expensive for the used ones + outside of europe which add customs costs etc. So getting actual real Titanium mod sound super cool
Yeah, I am not scientist on this one, and might be getting a bad deal, but it felt great and looks good. The person I passed it to loves it.
