It amazes me that Casio won't do that. Just like they don't give the option to change the date format from mm.dd to dd.mm on most of their digital watches. Why Casio, why?
Got a Skmei plastic G-Shock replica. Had it for 4 years, been wearing to work (construction labouring) every day and it held up remarkably well having been through a lot of punishment. Very impressed considering the price.
I have 4 skmei. 2 analog and 2 digital. For analog, i have SKMEI 9120 and SKMEI 9092. For digital i have SKMEI 1412 and SKMEI 1413. SKMEI 1412 is a casio f91w's homage but with EL-light and 1413 is a casio f94's homage but with EL-light. Those watches use same module but have different accuracy. My SKMEI 1412 accuracy is -3s/month accuracy but my SKMEI 1413 accuracy is +30s/month. Many people will think that SKMEI are not worth to buy but SKMEI 1412 will make people hope that casio will put EL-light into their iconic casio f91w. Oh yeah, for analog watches, some SKMEI model use Japanese Quartz movement like Miyota and Seiko Epson and the other model use Chinese quartz movement.
I bought the gold diamond encrusted Skame for My Daughter last summer, smash hit and all friends scored them at various points, birthdays, swimming, never fogged , beach, school and the watch still keeps perfect time, all the buttons have siezed except the light and the alarm still goes off at school o clock. The Skmei World Time "Royale" is actually really cool. Apart from the stuff the Casio has, it's also got a compass, pedometer, pacer, and a bunch of other stuff. So it's not as sparse as the real deal.
I've mentioned this in a few comments on other videos too. I think it's kind of cool that you can buy the SKMEI copy of the Casio, in black, with those several extra features, it's an actual world time watch, and SKMEI actually has this watch on a black steel bracelet, something that Casio doesn't even offer. Plus it has an EL backlight as opposed to the Casios two amber LEDs. The cheapest version I could find, and it's a stripped down model as far as complications go, is the 1335, but is has a steel bracelet. I bought several of them a while back for something ridiculous like $8 each with free shipping, just to strip the bracelets off and install them on my AE1200s. I didn't even want the watches, just the steel bracelets. Just look around on AliExpress for SKMEI 1335. I think you can buy the 1373 now with the steel bracelet, but back when I bought mine, they didn't have them yet, so I had to stick with the resin straps. The only little thing about them, it does actually have the SKMEI logo stamped into the clasp, so as long as you're ok with a small SKMEI logo on the bracelet of your Casio AE1200 it's a good deal.
Btw, if you're not really into the polished finish there's another option, a very similar homage by a different Chinese brand, "Sanda", I also think it has a nicer backlight (a blue one). I reviewed it on my channel if you want to check it out.
I bought the blue one a while back because that colour looked so cool and unique. It's a fun watch and $20 for one with a countdown timer is a plus! The viewing angles are pretty good compared to other Chinese specials I've bought too.
I bought the Gold and Silver model after seeing your previous video. Been wearing for several weeks and no problems at all. Damn look so close to the Anniversary Casio’s. Great for everyday wear when gardening or whatever without any care of damage.
I have this watch and it is quite good. I have 6.5 inch wrists and it fits fine. Don't worry. It was also very easy to pop links out and adjust it, replacing the pins.
@@nintendokings it's like any higher quality brand ... they have more overheads ... and each step you take to increase quality dramatically increases the cost ... you could make a similar argument about a Rolex over a Timex
I got a regular size one and smaller versions for my kids. We absolutely love them. I wasn't going to keep mine at first, but after I finally adjusted the bracelet, it was sealed. I usually am in-between sizes on bracelets but this is Goldilocks!
I just wore mine on a 6 hour shift. After 3 months it’s running about 10 seconds ahead. It’s a bit chunky at times, but I’m happy with my cheapo watch that took a month to get here.
Fantastic review! I think it’s so awesome that you featured Jamie’s video as well. Jamie and I live close to each other and I can assure you and your viewers that we are still in the middle of Snowpocalypse Now!
I only wear watches I can take to shower with since I'm a guy distracted enough to not remember taking it off before exposing myself to water. I have a SKMEI shock myself and it had no issues with water so far.
So far my skeimi..or whatever that says has been frozen in a bowl of water submerged for a week, taken 50 caliber recoil and industrial dishwasher .flawless performance and it's a world time clone ...definitely worth five bucks .
Just got mine in the post. Definitely worth the money. Not the best finishing on the face - brushed steel is pretty ordinary, but like Jodi says “why not!?” for $20.
I purchased a Skmei s shock watch in early 2016. I found it on Wish. Still works to this day. I paid $9.00 for it. Not that they are good watches by any means but it has stood up to a few years of use, not to mention that it still has the original battery.
So much hate for the skmei. I have the gold. I was after the Casio but wanted to try a gold watch first. Honestly skmei does the job. A great beater, a Casio metal is too dear to beat not classy enough for the$$$. Love your reviews.
You asked why someone would buy a Casio Royale copy vs a real Casio. I bought one because it was about 10 bucks cheaper, and came with Electroluminescence, a pedometer, and a digital compass. All those extra features for cheaper, and it still had all the normal features from the Casio Royale.
Interesting, though I can't get past the zinc alloy and my own brand snobbery. Am happy I bought a full stainless steel dress-up kit for my G-shock DW 5600 on Ali instead. Produces a much closer alternative to the all steel G-shocks, with excellent finishing and quality (even sporting a proper milled clasp), yet at only around 90 USD (40 for the standard DW5600, and around 50 for the steel case and bracelet).
The "SKMEI Royale" you showed in the beginning may visually be a copy to the Casio watch. But it actually features a compass, a step counter and even a calories counter based on your personal body profile. All of this works surprisingly well. In this way the SKMEI is even somewhat superior to the original Casio. I own and love both watches, even though the Casio probably gets a bit more wrist time.
Hey Jody, thanks for an intro into a new hobby! Always thought watch collecting was going to be an expensive past time. My eldest son treated me to an Omega 40th anniversary moon Speedmaster that has spent it's life in it's box, insured to the hilt, with me too scared to wear it incase of damaging it. Now perusing AliExpress and with your RUclips channel I can regularly treat myself to an interesting addition to the collection without the wife raising an eyebrow (Other than the "OMG, what's he into now? Look!) or a questioning letter from the bank. After years of scraping by bringing up three kids I can use my learned talent for finding a bargain for my own enjoyment. Even the extended wait for delivery from China is an enjoyable tease!! Regards and thanks, Fred $400 or $20??? That's a toughie lol!!!
You should wear the watch and enjoy it..why keep a beutiful women in the closet? .there not much difference in depreciation for that watcb whether worn once or worn 1000's unless its uselessly beat up/non functional....also, you can always repolish it to near new status during maintanace should u choose.. Keeping it in the box wont prevent the movemeny from needing servicing as oils/etc dries up.. Enjoy your son's gift and the watch, take her out.
I got one in UK for £8 on fleabay... Its great! The fit is so comfortable on a 7 inch wrist. I didnt like the finish on the front of the `bezel` so I used a scotchbrite pad on it and now its a very fine brushed look, much better.
Funnily enough I just received one of these yesterday before seeing the video and I have to say, it's very impressive for the price. Most people won't see the difference. It's a great looking watch. Cheers !
When you were discussing the difference in price in Casio AE1200 and its SKMEI counterpart, there are a few differences with the SKMEI watch. The model I have is the 1373, and it's a black resin housing and band, just like my Casio AE1200. The SKMEI doesn't have the world map in the top right, but it shows the day of the week there instead. In the top left corner, instead of having an analog clock, all it does is darken one segment every second until the display is filled up, then when it advances to the next minute, the display is emptied and the process repeats itself. As far as the modes go, pressing the bottom left brings up a step counter, which I've never used, and another press has a step counter again, which I've also never used, so I couldn't even begin to tell you what the difference is between the two. The next press brings up a stopwatch, then there's three alarms and an hourly chime, then a countdown timer, then a step pacer, and finally, a World Time function, which is real and has actual time zones, 49 cities to be exact. It also allows for DST, but just like the Casio, it has to be switched on and off manually twice a year. A final press of the bottom left button brings you back to the regular timekeeping mode. Here's where it gets interesting though... In the main timekeeping mode, pressing the bottom right button brings up a digital compass, which for a $16 watch, I've found to be surprisingly accurate. Oh yeah, and for an added bonus, the top left button turns on an EL backlight. Yep, the SKMEI watch actually has an accurate compass, EL backlighting, a step counter, a step pacer, plus all the features in the Casio AE1200. It also has the same exact black resin band, but instead of a black plastic buckle, it has what I believe is brushed aluminum (definitely metal, but not steel). Water resistance isn't as high as the Casio which is 100m. The SKMEI says 5ATM on the back cover, and it states 50m on the masking just below the subdial. They gave another one just like the Casio, the SKMEI 1382 and I think a 1299 IIRC, which is missing a few of the 1373 features. Why anyone would buy either of those models completely baffles me. Ok, now regarding this SKMEI watch, it looks like something I might need to look into, but I'd have to get the black one. Is that one metal also? I hate gold tone, and the silver toned one looks a little flashy for a watch that size. In the meantime, I might have to start wearing my DW5600 again. It's been a few months. I'm kind of surprised SKMEI opted to use LED bulbs in this one, because they use EL backlighting in damned near everything else they make. Not that it's a deal breaker or anything, because it isn't. Nice review by the way, it's been awhile since I've been on your channel, maybe if I subbed, I'd be reminded to start watching watch videos again 😁. It's been darts for the past few months, plus I've been bingeing Netflix.
I’ve been into watches for about 2 years now. And I’ve been looking up reviews and you almost always have a video for the watch I’m looking for! You got a subscriber!
I got the exact one from this video after Jody recommend it in 11.11 Aliexpress sales video. Been satisfied with it for the few months of usage, beat it to the max and it still works fine.
The other day I was watching a video from another watch reviewer, and my wife asked me, "Why are you listening to a watch channel that isn't Jody?" Had to laugh out loud at that one! As for this one, guess I'm in the camp that won't be able to wear it ): 6.5" wrist here. A shame since I wear Turtles and Samurais a lot, and have no issue rocking a large watch. I think this one might look a bit weird on me, if it hangs over a bit on your wrist. Still, gotta agree that it's hard for me to go after a $400+ metal G-Shock (don't even look at the titanium price tags!) that uses the same or similar module as my GW-M5610. Great review as always!
This is what it's all about for me - unbeatable value for money, great and known designs for much much less. Awesome watch and awesome review as always 👍
Mines arrived today from eBay , really quite impressive for the £9.71 I paid for it. Bracelet and clasp are decent and module is very easy to navigate. Will use it for work like I do with my other digital watches. Very good fit as well , as you mentioned 👍
Thanks Jody. I've had a few skmei including this one and they are pretty solid. Gediminus on RUclips has done his own torture testing on them and they've come up fine. Cheers.
I have purchased a few Skmei watches over the years and been very happy with them. I have their Casio AQ-230 ani-digi, PRX, and rubber G-Shock square homages. I have their version of the Casioak in my shopping cart right now and thinking about pulling the trigger, or do I want the digital Natilus homage? One thing I really like about Skmei is their tendancy to use metal cases where Casio uses plastic painted like metal. Not all of their watches, but many. Granted it is a copper alloy, but that is still better in my book than plastic and the same material Timex uses in many of their watches.
Jody, I bought this when you said you were thinking about reviewing it. I spent about $13 and it took about 2 weeks to arrive. I completely ignored your advice regarding swimming, in fact I've been in the pool most of today with it on, I've also been swimming in the sea and it appears to be pretty resistant.
Hi Jody, I got mine a few months ago and I’m quite pleased. I bought it because I wanted to try whether a full metal G-Shock would be the right thing for me to buy. I’m not very keen of the fixed first links. But I suppose the G-Shock has got the same issue... Best regards, Claus
If you already got squre G-shock you can buy metal bracelet and metal body for it for 60$ on aliexpress. Just search on Aliexpress "5600 (or 5610) stainless steel"
People complain about the price of the full metal G-Shocks, but I understand where they’re coming from. When I decided to buy my first G-Shock I explored the range and ogled the full metal and had similar thoughts on it. However, once I really dug into researching the various Square G models and comparing their features and build, weighed what was important to me and what I wanted, I happily pulled the trigger on it and have been thrilled with it for the past week its been in my possession! I’m gradually building my collection (this is my third watch purchase) and it’s a fantastic addition.
i once bought very cheap beater digital watch from skmei, 5 bar. i use it for very tough job. went scuba diving with it and i abused the hell of it. still works perfectly. damn
I bought the silver one when you suggested them on the Black Friday deals. I have to say it keeps time better than my Casio F91W and looks quite good too.
I have one of these, it is good value for the money. I also have one of the new Skmei mechanical automatics, that is a different story. The automatic is a real dog, there is a point where the rotor can not pass so it never makes a full rotation, even winding it the main spring is obviously much smaller than advertised, it will only keep going if on your arm but you really have to be moving your arm vigorously, and putting it on my watch winder doesn't work either it stops within 60-90 minutes. Basically it works just enough so that you can't say it is completely broken and send it back. The skmei automatic would make a great gift for your worst enemy, present it to him and then enjoy seeing him slowly go mad trying to deal with a watch for which proper function is tantalizingly out of reach just enough to keep him trying to fix it, but just far enough to never be able to be successful.
I bought mine on the 1111 cell I ended up getting the silver because all the other colors were sold out I really was impressed with what I got for my money
Thanks for bringing this model to my attention... I could never justify such a high cost for the steel Casio - for what is essentially a basic digital G-Shock. I'm in the same area of Newfoundland, Canada that the "snowpocalypse" happened, so I figure if it can survive being out in that storm then it can survive being on my wrist LOL Ordered one today :)
It's not a basic digital G-Shock though, is it? It's got a completely different module to the entry level G-Shocks, an STN display, with more features like Multi-band 6, Bluetooth and Tough Solar. You can get the resin case version for much cheaper, which is still a better watch than this Chinese KO.
To me one of the main joys of the full metal G is the band - one of the things that TGV didn't find out because he got one with a strap. The dimples and the link-ends on the real G's bracelet are highly polished, which contrasts nicely to the very fine brushing. It catches the light, particularly sunlight, in a very pleasing way. The Skmei band, on the other hand, appears to be all brushed and looks flat and drab by comparison. I don't think it looks "shiny, shiny, shiny just like the regular G-Shock". The other thing I'd say is that, personally, an homage that offers zero originality in terms of a design is not for me. It's why close Subbie homage pieces don't do anything for me. Interesting video anyway Jody - always good to see you paying equal respect to $20 watches and $20,000 watches.
Bought two of these for $13 each on the 11/11 sale. Gave one to my friend who is 6'6" and 350. I still had to take two links out for him. So, yes, it'll fit big guys.
How did you take the links out? The pin in my link removal tool is too big. Does this watch have particularly narrow pins? I too bought this in the sale, and am reluctant to take it to a watch shop to get adjusted.
To be honest it was just a bear. I bent one of the pins on the link removal tool and finally got them moving with a tiny hammer. But for $13 I went for it and the pins slowly moved
I've been waiting for this review since Jody said he was going to do one. This is my second watch I've bought after seeing it on JOMW. Everything he says about this watch is true to the experience I have had with mine since December. It is a great watch for the low, low price. Thanks Jody for the wrist enhancement. I did need just one more watch 😁.
The Mandarin pronunciation is SA/KER/MAY. Great watches for a great price. Got two of these and love em to bits. The Casio snobs will turn their noses up but let them - they are the fools who are paying through the nose.
That's good for you, and I hope you thoroughly enjoy your purchase. But don't go around calling other ppl fools purely because you won't pay to get the real deal. Ironically, it makes you a bit of a snob.
I did the same purchase on a Winner watch automatic for $19.00.Simple no date black dial and printed white Arabic numerals,"alloy" case and for some strange reason it actually works..........
If nothing else, at least in the salt water the zinc in the bracelet will act as a sacrificial anode and take the electrolytic bullet for the wearer, ;)
i'd bought an analogue/digital resin skmei almost 7yrs ago for banging about at work,& tbf i can't knock it, it gets more than its fair share of abuse in that environment & as for its 3bar resistance i dunno & don't care as its also me leisure beater, sea, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room the lot with no adverse effects or steamed lenses, only thing to come off is the coating on the crown, not bad for the 4 quid i coughed up at the tjme & still looks good ,(well..as good as a £4 watch can hehe)
I just picked up the Casioak homage of the skmei for $12. All metal. I can’t wait to get it and test it out. They only had 1 color at 12 but had a lot of colors at $23. Can’t find any videos on it though. Hint hint lol
I have the silver Jody, it fits great and is comfortable. It looks nice on the wrist too. The day is perpetually stuck on Wednesday. I can set where the day is not shown but date is. I can live with that. Using it to time my breaks at the gym and running time is great. I love Casio my A168 buttons actually stopped working. I'll get another Casio when this one gives out. I actually bought 5 kept one the rest were sticking stuffers. The recipients are still talking to me. Thanks Jody Maybe, I"ll get the Gold one sometime later.
Just bought a very similar one -same case size, movement and features but bright metallic blue blending to purple with a transparent plastic strap - looks fantastic - 50mts water resist - its going to the beach for the summer so that will be tested, although hopefully not to 50 mts. Model 1622 - its very pretty and it was a whole massive 10.00 GBP from ali. Maybe the plastic strap is an advantage because I have small wrists and it fits fine.
Jody, So I took A flyer on this one… Just got it from AliExpress… This one took longer than most of my orders from AliExpress...Over a month… But I picked it up for $14 US....I’ve had a bunch of G shocks...And other than you I’ve owned more Casios than any person I know...I’ve got to say that for less than $15 just watch will do just fine. I’ve given it a special place in my 15 watch box of Chinese specials and Casio models...Now back to saving for that omega! Going to sell off some of my Seiko watches to make some room in my collection!
Jody Darn you for introducing me to Ali Express. In the last month I have bought 4 watches from Them (1) Steel Dive Seiko Turtle Homage, (2)The SKMEI Casio Metal, (3) a Starking, and (4) Bliger Homage to the Omega Seamaster.
Funny how I was just looking at aftermarket square GShock replacement cases on Taobao. Some of the better quality metal stainless steel case and bracelet combo with milled clasp cost around 20-25AUD. I mean, I don’t even own any Casio atm but now seriously considering getting a $20 Casio and mod the hell out of it.
I did this with my GW5600 - make sure to get one from the seller MFG - great clasp, great details. I just ordered a second one (silver this time), even though I need to buy another module for it.
5:18 I would really appreciate if more watch manufacturers engrave battery type on their back. I currently have 9 different watch battery types in my collection and I keep a memo with it to keep track which battery fits which watch.
Good thing about G-Shock is that there's always someone doing a teardown of their watches, meaning that the battery specs are always available on Shockbase.
Well Jody, it's arrived today, 5 pence short of 15 Great British Pounds from Ali Express. I watched you to learn how to set it and I've taken four links out to fit my seven inch wrist. The only difference to the advertised model is that there is no brick decoration on the dial. I'd also like to remove the branding with Goo Gone but it's stamped in anyway. Great video, nice recommendation. I shan't be buying the Casio for silly money although I love the brand. Thank you. 👍
Great review! I have the exact same watch £450 for the Casio. I want to beat this Chinese watch within an inch of its life, not because I don't like it but if it breaks I'll just get another, £11 including delivery in the AliExpress sale delivered!
There's no way I pay 400 USD for a plain digital (non Smart type) watch, no matter how tough, durable or well-crafted it is... The Skmei materials can be cheap and have some design issues, but its functionality-price, quality-price and looks-price ratio is far better than the original full-metal Casio. Nice review.
I'd rather get the resin version, than a cheap Chinese metal alloy clone. Who cares if it's more expensive? I care about the quality, reliability and brand credibility, not about which one's the cheapest.
I've bought and sold several skmei watches in the past. They have been a surprise for the price you pay. Stainless Steel case and bracelet with solid links, at around £15. Suggest you get one to review.
You can get a standard square gshock then turn it into a metal square with aftermarket bezels and bracelets.... That would make a good video You could call it the G-Mod square
The swimming guy on the case back has his left arm sticking out of the water, keeping the watch dry. Fair warning. 😂
😂😂😂👌

Ravenclawfire: What is the reference number for that SKMEI of yours?
@@michaelhorn8962 1373, look for the small text that says compass pedometer underneath the portion of the display that has the time.
@Jorn Navarre Erm... the stainless steel kits I was referring to (which are absolutely PERFECT quality, imho) are also made in China...
Mine 6 weeks later has just arrived - makes me smile from ear to ear
Great job and thanks much. I ordered one after watching this i hope i'll like it. ;)
One feature that is better than the metal square is three letters for the day of the week
Just bought 2 for $10 each! Thanks for the review
ForbiddenNickname: Do you know the reference number for that SKMEI?
Michael Horn 1456
@@michaelhorn8962 The reference number of the "SKMEI Royale" in black is 1373.
Regards and thanks,
Fred
$400 or $20??? That's a toughie lol!!!
You should wear the watch and enjoy it..why keep a beutiful women in the closet?
.there not much difference in depreciation for that watcb whether worn once or worn 1000's unless its uselessly beat up/non functional....also, you can always repolish it to near new status during maintanace should u choose..
Keeping it in the box wont prevent the movemeny from needing servicing as oils/etc dries up..
Enjoy your son's gift and the watch, take her out.
Looks way to shiny for me, I think that this would have looked cooler if it was fully brushed and without the gigantic 'skmei' on the front
I got one in UK for £8 on fleabay... Its great! The fit is so comfortable on a 7 inch wrist.
I didnt like the finish on the front of the `bezel` so I used a scotchbrite pad on it and now its a very fine brushed look, much better.
Try G-SHOCK to metal conversion kits. They are available on aliexptess. Greetings from Poland.

Thanks!
I bought that 16 dollars skmei, and the three dollars saved was worth it. Fantastic little watch, and I like the colors better. I was shocked

Cool... Thanks! I'll have to look into setting it up and start using it.
The other day I was watching a video from another watch reviewer, and my wife asked me, "Why are you listening to a watch channel that isn't Jody?"
Had to laugh out loud at that one!
Please say a Helloooooo to your wife and thank her for her loyalty!
@@JustOneMoreWatch Will do!😂
Get a steel bezel and bracelet for your m5610, that's what I did
@@davidhoskins6799 Good idea, that.👍
I've had a gold version of this for awhile. No issues and the screen is crazy readable.
I got this one to use at home and it is holding up fairly well, totally recommended it.
I have an 8.5” wrist and I had to remove some links to fit! Love my rose gold Skmei
I have this watch and it fits nice. Looks great for a cheap watch. I also have a smaller black one too. The back light on that one is blue.
My Skmei 1894 and 1412 have 50meter water resistance stated on the front of their cases.I love them both. I'm surprised this one is only 30 metres.
Just watched Madrocks 5 part torture test and immediately ordered one from Ali. 20 Canadian dollars delivered. Yours should last forever in Sydney!
I don’t mind getting j o m w if they just cost £12. Went for the gold one. Made me and my friends smile. It has paid for itself already.
Ha! That is good to hear!
Thanks, I have one & was hesitant to go in the sea with it. If it does die I'll just get another one. Very thin & comfortable to wear.
Hi Jody,
I got mine a few months ago and I’m quite pleased. I bought it because I wanted to try whether a full metal G-Shock would be the right thing for me to buy.
I’m not very keen of the fixed first links. But I suppose the G-Shock has got the same issue...
Best regards,
Claus
It looks like it came out of those claw games where you try to pick up a prize
My wife is addicted to those. And rather good at them!
i once bought very cheap beater digital watch from skmei, 5 bar.
i use it for very tough job. went scuba diving with it and i abused the hell of it. still works perfectly.
Of course this vid comes out the same day I looked at a metal-head G in the store! 😆
I bought mine on the 1111 cell I ended up getting the silver because all the other colors were sold out I really was impressed with what I got for my money
Godammit Jody! I really didn’t want to find out this watch was pretty good......just ordered the silver. The black was unavailable and I’m tight...👍🏽
Thanks for bringing this model to my attention... I could never justify such a high cost for the steel Casio - for what is essentially a basic digital G-Shock.
I'm in the same area of Newfoundland, Canada that the "snowpocalypse" happened, so I figure if it can survive being out in that storm then it can survive being on my wrist LOL
Ordered one today :)
Rolex Batman last week, $20 Skmei-Shock this week! They all just tell the time.....
A silver one is making it's way from China to the UK as we speak, I paid $9.99. The genuine G shock version was on the same page for $580.
Yeah I think I just haven't been forceful enough, but I shouldn't be afraid to break it because right now I can't wear anyway so I've nothing to lose!
Got mine ordered on Ali all in for $11.70 thanks Jodi
"zinc alloy" is code for Zamak which is commonly referred to as "pot metal." You can melt that case down on a stove top.
Jody telling me to go for the gold is all the motivation I needed today.
I bought one in the Ali 11/11 sale, dark blue, and it's great, still very happy with it.
I bought mine having seen Jody's previous video on it. €12 and a bit on the November sale. Shocking that they got cheaper still...
I bought this watch for my dad and he was able to bend the extenders down more and it fits fine now on his small wrists.
Thanks Jody
Maybe, I"ll get the Gold one sometime later.
How do you buy Casios for $20 in Australia ? He must be referring to prices in the USA.
just bought a blue skmei, I hope to do a review on it soon!
I bought that watch last year for 10$ on eBay last year!
Othet brands take note: Skmei has FOUR micro-adjust positions on their $20 watch clasp!
Just got a Vostok amphibia 090 and the clasp has 8 microadjusts , I mean it's a total shocker but at least it's an adjustable shocker 🤣
David Wilson Great watch!!
Electro luminous lighting makes A LOT of sense, for even lass than the Casio's cheap LED.
I had the same idea. 5600 + $50 kit off Ali. Stay tuned!
@@JustOneMoreWatch do it.
Thank you. 👍
Ali offers also the metal g-shock bezels and bracelets for the dw5600 for about 50 to 60
USD. I converted mine, it's great!
Great review!
I have the exact same watch £450 for the Casio. I want to beat this Chinese watch within an inch of its life, not because I don't like it but if it breaks I'll just get another, £11 including delivery in the AliExpress sale delivered!
Plastic G-Shock lookalikes from SKMEI are available for 15-20$ here in India, while the originals costs 50-60$
The metal Casio would probably appeal more to hardcore fans of this particular model, otherwise the plastic version is quite cheap and affordable
That would make a good video
You could call it the G-Mod square
