Great video. You can eliminate that extra step (right foot to left foot) after fielding, and just take that power step straight to your target (right foot). If you need more time to gather yourself then take an extra shuffle.
Very helpful!! As a pitcher I didn't have the footwork down and would kind of wait for the ball to come to me but I had such a strong arm I would still get people out but with this footwork I would have been even more dangerous. This is when they needed me to play Infield which was not often.
Great video. Too bad you were not around to teach me when I went to Camp Winadu back in the 60's. It was primarily a baseball camp and baseball was not my thing. You have such a great teaching style.
I like to see a young coach making videos, and helping young men. I can tell the you didn't not play in the infield in your playing days. Your foot work and the placement of your hands as the ball is going in your glove was bad, at least for middle school or highschool player. Your hand position before throwing the ball was pretty bad, for an infilder, that was more for like a pitcher. The cone drills was ok, but your foot work was not great. If you don't mind, watch Coach Lou Colon videos, for proper way to place your feet and hands. Just trying to help. Coach Eddie

Great. Would love a video on how to deal with the real hot-grounders.
